I found a deep purple. I just wish it posted darker, like when it's bolded. It seems a little “faint” to me.

Hi Everyone,

Once you understand   “
code”,   it is pretty simple;  give it a try in a test topic   …   (Click Here)

For “bolden” what you do is this…                        in here will be bolden .

If you want to “underline”, do this…                 in here will be underlined

If you want “italics”, do this…                               in here will be italics

For “the color blue” what you do is…          in here will be blue

                                                             or or or

Knowing these will make for better Posts!

If you want “to change the size of the print“, what you do is this…

in here will be size # 7     …(sizes are 1-10)

In all “HTML Code” don't forget to end with…   [/<– This symbol   [/…] ]

NOTE: this –> [/…] <– is size number 10 out of 1-10 (immediately above), and is also using embolden

duh, duh. thanks Ed. I will try it. I am much better with walls and colors in paint and tints and two by fours and nails. A little further than the rock quarry Fred Flinstone worked at but not much. :) . Peace-Mark

Changing the color of the font or print of ALL your posts   (Note: past posts will NOT change):

1. Start by clicking on “Your Control Panel
(on the upper left of any page here)

2. Next click on the box that says “Personal Info“.
                                                     (its the second box)

3. Finally click on “Edit your profile

4. On that page (at the bottom left)
         there's a set of preselected colors;
click on the color you like best and…

5. Then click on the box that says “Amend my profile”     (click on that and you're done)

There is also a way to choose from “ANY COLOR” possible.
PM me and I can help you walk through some additional steps.

God bless

T8. Why limit the size to 10? My posts are clearly important enough to all be 20 or 25. :)

david HTML only has a limited range and IB Code just converts to HTML.

You get a much larger range with CSS which is the standard language of styling today.
Not sure if CSS works in posts though.

I will try one.

Hi, the Html code I am utilizing is not functioning correctly. It appears just fine in the preview, but when published it all [almost] disappears. All of the color editing is eliminated upon posting, and only the bolding remains.

Yes there is a problem when you use the old and now deprecated font tag. It seems to drop the closing font tag which is annoying. You are best to use iBcode which is even easier. I will give you an example and put in a space so the code is not executed.

Instead of this

Use this:

This will be red if you removed all the spaces. Also no speech marks around the value that you use in the font tag.

Removed spaces and changed the text and got this.

What happens is the iBcode converts to a span tag with a style color value. You can also use hexidecimal colors and not just real spelled colours. e.g., #000000 is black or #efefef is grey.
