the description that came up when i searched and found you was that angels and humans have been given free will by god but wasnt the whole issued of lucifher beeing cast from heaven was because he wanted free will like the humans as he found it unfair that angels of any ranking had no free will and just had to obay the word of god, in conclusion angels have never had free will and i feel it is uniformed for you to say so………..
February 11, 2003 at 9:54 pm#3988ProclaimerParticipantIf Angels didn’t have free will, then how did they disobey God, because it is not Gods will that any should sin or perish.

July 17, 2003 at 10:09 am#3989ProclaimerParticipantDid the Fallen Angels choose to rebel or was it Gods will?

May 14, 2004 at 4:35 pm#3993ringo111ParticipantI found you by You posting off another “christian” website- I felt I could handle the disheartening task of looking through another trinity forum to see if anyone actually understood that the trinity was a lie- and to my ammazment I found you- You directed me here ^_^ yey!!
This is a sort of home for me now- allthough at the moment Im haveing some lil disagreement's wiv u T8.
U should know, Its cause I care 😛  Because as a heathen – a Non believer in GoD- I didnt used to care all that much, Id rather run from confrentation, and still do have a tendancy to run- I was a hurt LiL' boy. To use the way I used to react and talk- I would say to anyone who I didnt agree with mainly to myself. I dont Give A F*^# what you F%&*$*N think You stupid F&%^IN' C*&K F%#@@R,
Go F%$# Yourself. Believe Whatever the F%#K you Like F^%#IN F#G eating F@$$OTS!! Go F%#**IN Find A f%@#In Hole And Kill yourself you F@#$In piece Of S^$T. And Id leave you thinking what you'd like and not give a F*^# What you believed. Because I F%#$IN' hated every last Selfish F%#$IN' B#$@%$d. They could rot theyre own F&*$In Stupidity For all i cared!! (mind you at that time I myself was bisexual, I had my time with women and found them too annoying, I sure am glad GoD revealed himself to me when he did, I find it totally discusting the thought of being gay, but there was a time when the lies of sexual confusion was totally acceptable in my mind)offensive isnt it!! we should not find it too offensive- because these are those who we should be reaching out too, the heathan world!!!
I find no evidence in scripture that Satan is a fallen angel- allthough in places suggested if someone adds in a lot of the blanks that GoD just Didnt fill in, in regards to satans origon. GoD probs doesnt think it that important for us to know.
I think that the idea of satan first being an angel, was someone triing to be smart and come up with a story to make a name for themselves. Because angels that Sin Are held in chains waiting for everlasting Judgment. I think Satan Was created for The purpose that he exists for today.- Or that he was a rebel from a previous creation. But GoD does have creatures exist that seemingly are born to be destroyed, like the beasts of revelation. This Just opens up more questions- Soz Dont have more answers. Some thoughts to ponder, But not atm. Its way too late.
Hurrah for t8
August 23, 2004 at 4:35 am#3994itsmeParticipantyeah, i found this sight while searching for some answeres… i know i could go to the Bible for them, but i needed to talk to people or something, so i started searching on google and i found a whole bunch of stuff and i checked it all out, and i came accross this and it was awesome.
Angels do have free will. by the way, Lucifer chose to want to be better than God, he chose it and that was pretty much,… … a mistake. so, God sent him out with Lucifers follower angels and stuff and yeah. oh…we are only one “step?” lower than angels. I don't know the exact word.August 23, 2004 at 2:31 pm#3995ringo111ParticipantIts me, nowhere in scripture is satan refered to as a fallen angel. It has been an imaginary story. We are not told the origon of satan. Just that he is there, and has demons. And will be destroyed, because of his disobediance. It never specifies the initial disobediance, nore does it say he is an angel or ever was one.
In the bible it says, Angels that sin are held in chains awaiting everlasting judgement. Therefore Satan is not an angel. neither are demons.
August 23, 2004 at 6:27 pm#3996itsmeParticipantyour probably right… but i'll look into it. But anyways, i was saying that angels do have free will, since they can sin if they want. reffering back to a couple “days” ago…

I'm with you G, this is pretty far fetched. My understanding is that angels are messengers. A messenger can be anything from a human to a star in the heavens. These people do not understand scripture it is plain to me.
January 16, 2008 at 8:53 am#78962NickHassanParticipantHi Laurel,
If you deny the angels then you deny a lot of scripture.
Heb 2
5It is not to angels that he has subjected the world to come, about which we are speaking. 6But there is a place where someone has testified:
“What is man that you are mindful of him,
the son of man that you care for him?
7You made him a little[a] lower than the angels;
you crowned him with glory and honor
8 and put everything under his feet.”
In putting everything under him, God left nothing that is not subject to him. Yet at present we do not see everything subject to him. 9But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, now crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone. - AuthorPosts
