Nothing defiled or any one that lies, or works abomination can enter. They cannot go into into this holy city, so they must still be existing, or else why would he mention them, if they are all destroyed already.

I think these are the different parts of the body of Christ.

The can not differentiate between the two.1.Paradise would be the 1000yrs, to the jews that have been brought back by choice.
Brought back in the flesh. Job will be there.He says'' for in my flesh will I see God. (Job 19:26).The jews will see Jesus like the apostles did.In paradise there will be no pain nor tears.
the animals will not bite,the lion will eat straw.Spears turned into pruning hooks; swords into plowshares; Knowledge of the Lord will cover the earth,as the sea cover the earth.
2.The 1000yr kingdom, will be the saints in charge,
they will be kings and priests reigning over the jews with Christ,teaching them.3.The resurrected saints will have received all the inheritance. They have heaven and earth, and a glorified body.
