If Jesus is the flesh part of God,
and the Word was made flesh only 2000 yrs ago,
then either Jesus was flesh as the Word in heaven or
God,
who does not change,
changed 2000 yrs ago.

He changed in that He became a physical being when He was born of Mary. He also grew from a baby to an adult. He also was beaten beyond recognition, died, and was resurrected. He was glorified and went to Heaven. He changed from being man to Lord of all, King of kings. Upon His resurrection He received all authority. That was another change.

Of course He changed!
