Hi Oxy,
So if he came in the flesh then he was not always flesh. Thus since God does not change
and this only happened 2000 years ago then
there is no validity in your comparison
between us and a proposed triune God
is there?September 9, 2006 at 2:41 am#27764OxyParticipantActually there is Nick. God knew me before I was conceived too.

So you say God knew Jesus [ as flesh ] before he was born?
That computes?September 9, 2006 at 4:33 am#27776OxyParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ Sep. 09 2006,04:02) Hi Oxy,

There you go again Nick. Anything for an argument. Where did I ever say that?? I really do wonder about you!September 9, 2006 at 4:36 am#27777NickHassanParticipantHi Oxy,
If Jesus is the flesh part of God,
and the Word was made flesh only 2000 yrs ago,
then either Jesus was flesh as the Word in heaven or
God,
who does not change,
changed 2000 yrs ago.September 9, 2006 at 5:59 am#27787OxyParticipantHe changed in that He became a physical being when He was born of Mary. He also grew from a baby to an adult. He also was beaten beyond recognition, died, and was resurrected. He was glorified and went to Heaven. He changed from being man to Lord of all, King of kings. Upon His resurrection He received all authority. That was another change.
Of course He changed!

Then he was not God.But then he was not anyway
as he is the Son of God.February 21, 2007 at 7:53 am#42594NickHassanParticipantHi,
God calling Jesus God does not automatically make him in any way our God.
That is another step of false logic used by the greeks following Constantine. - AuthorPosts
