The branches:

I was not given to know this yet, except I see some of them have no fruit, some do. I also see that the fruit in this world does rot, unlike the fruit of the Spirit, which is alive always, so it never spoils.

Some of the branches will never bear fruit, but they seem good, because of their outward aroma, which is a nice smell.

Some of the branches are “evergreen” but those also do not bear friut, so even though they have an outward appearence as a living Spirit so to speak, they do not produce fruit and never will, so therefore are not of the Spirit.

Keep the commandments and walk in love.

As with the woman with the divination spirit who told fortunes in Acts other spirits can inspire religious people.

4.2 Kings 17:17
And they caused their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire, and used divination and enchantments, and sold themselves to do evil in the sight of the Lord, to provoke him to anger.

5.Jeremiah 14:14
Then the Lord said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart.

6.Ezekiel 12:24
For there shall be no more any vain vision nor flattering divination within the house of Israel.

7.Ezekiel 13:6
They have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, The Lord saith: and the Lord hath not sent them: and they have made others to hope that they would confirm the word.

8.Ezekiel 13:7
Have ye not seen a vain vision, and have ye not spoken a lying divination, whereas ye say, The Lord saith it; albeit I have not spoken?

9.Ezekiel 13:23
Therefore ye shall see no more vanity, nor divine divinations: for I will deliver my people out of your hand: and ye shall know that I am the Lord.
