Indeed the strongest case to be made for Jesus is the faith one. If he existed, I'm not sure how he would feel about it. I think he might be pretty unimpressed by Saul of Tarsus, to name just one.

Well I have heard the same concerning the Koran and the Book of Mormon, perhaps they are hidden from you because you don't believe enough.  It is always a poor argument to say you need belief or special divine understanding (the Holy Spirit) to understand a written work for anyone can make and justify all sorts of nonsense using the same justification.  I would think if a work was truly divinely inspired its truth and clarity would be such that it would need no special criteria to illuminate, teach and motivate the readers thereof.
