Of Course not this is not God's holy day. But it's not a pagan holiday either that I know of anyway. Just family getting together to break bread and thank God! Nothing wrong with that!

Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.
Although to me every day is Thanksgiving day especially since my sins are forgiven, it is good that mankind has set aside a day to be thankful.
Some may not know God as their Father, and so, I'm praying for everyone that may be in this state that God will do everything in his power to save them so that they may indeed be thankful.
Again, Happy Thanksgiving to all, and May God Bless!
November 24, 2006 at 1:27 am#33025davidParticipantWe should give thanks every day, for all God has given.

In our house, we are enjoying this special day set aside as we focus on God's goodness (Ps 100, 103, 104) through his many blessings and longsuffering with us. We're also standing in the gap and praying for those in trying circumstances at this time. We thank God for his lovingkindness and also pray for his peace in Jerusalem and around the world. In Jesus Name.

Peace and Love Irene
