Hi,
Grace is frequently spoken of in the NT.2 Timothy 1:9
Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,138.Hebrews 4:16
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.139.Hebrews 10:29
Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?Ephesians 4:7
But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.Hebrews 12:28
Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:May 17, 2012 at 1:55 am#298421NickHassanParticipantHi,

I am amazed that you are so quickly deserting Him who called you by the grace of Christ, for a different gospel;3.Philippians 1:7
For it is only right for me to feel this way about you all, because I have you in my heart, since both in my imprisonment and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel, you all are partakers of grace with me.May 17, 2012 at 2:44 am#298423NickHassanParticipantHi,

In the OT the words GRACE IN THY SIGHT is often used with regard to God and men.
The Grace of God in the NT in Christ Jesus is transforming power.May 17, 2012 at 7:29 pm#298507NickHassanParticipantHi,
The Spirit of Grace changes us into the inner likeness of Jesus Christ and enables us to be overcomers.

Nick; These two passages seem to be the same grace.
Psalm 84:11
King James Version (KJV)11 For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
Proverbs 3:34
King James Version (KJV)34 Surely he scorneth the scorners: but he giveth grace unto the lowly.

All has ever been of grace. But none received the Spirit of Grace in the fulness till Jesus Christ.
We too can now partake of a share of that fulness of grace if we are clothed in him and he is in us.May 18, 2012 at 1:56 am#298554kerwinParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ May 18 2012,01:57) Good one KW,

T;They are included in the:
“All has ever been of grace.”
But they could not partake of a share of that fulness of grace as they could not be clothed in him and he is in them while in their mortal lives; just as it is written:
1 Peter 1
King James Version (KJV)10 Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:
11 Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.
12 Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into. - AuthorPosts
