Quote (2besee @ Jan. 06 2013,18:58) Quote (Wakeup @ Jan. 06 2013,19:48) 2Besee. You are still dodging my questions.
And why can the others join in,and proof us wrong.wakeup.
Wakeup, I thank you for the opportunity , I like to discuss scriptures, when I have the time and I don't have that for the next week, unfortunately. Here is the thing though. And to Devo too..
Do you say that God does not have the right to CHOOSE who will survive and who will not? Does God not have the right to select for himself. Are you the selector? Is MAN the selectors who tell God how to do things?
God made this earth, it is not ours, it is God's. God knows things about us and about every single person who has ever existed – things that even we do not know about ourselves or others. If we go on to become evil in the future, God knows this, we don't.
God knows everything before it happens much like we know things before they happen because we know that every action will have a reaction.
If I hit somebody hard enough, they will be hurt.
That is a fact.
A simple fact.
God though is not man,
We are stupid,
God is NOT.If YOU create a computer program or a website, do you not have the right to remove whatever you want to from it – throw it in the recycle bin,
All that I am saying is that the meek will inherit the earth – that is what it says. We are not being meek by being 'know it alls' are we, and that includes me.
I am not pretending to know every little detail. That would be foolish.
There are however some things that i am sure of due to revelations that I had, and NOTHING will change me regarding those…
though there are things that I do not know for sure, many things..i know that when Jesus returns, fire will heat and destroy everything SO FAST that the dead won't know what even happened it will be so fast, and the ones who survive will be looking around them, in no doubt at all that the end has come, the day spoken about in the bible.
None of this fits into your doctrine.
God is the author. Be quiet and listen to what GOD has to say.
In my very brief encounter with the Adventist Church, I heard that there would be a false Jesus coming, a replica of the true Jesus. I believe them, my spirit believes them,
Knowing HOW to tell our Jesus from the duplicate is important.
Pray and ask, Wakeup, Journey and Devolution, and maybe you will see too.
2Besee.Here is something about the sda church.
January 6, 2013 at 2:58 pm#326912journey42ParticipantHi 2Besse
Quote YOU three believe that the dead will be raised as Spirits, not flesh…. Is that correct?
Yes, raised as spirit. Only those who die in Christ.1 Corinthians 15:44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
This scripture should give insight. We are made of a natural body (flesh) and raised into a spiritual body (spirit).
1 Corinthians 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
Flesh corrupts. It gets sick, hurts, ages, and dies.
On the other hand, Spirit is incorruptible.
There is a natural body, and a spiritual body.Quote Do you believe that Jesus was raised from the dead as a Spirit only or flesh?
To say that Christ was raised into flesh is to bring him down. Flesh is inferior to spirit. Do you remember this scripture?Hebrews 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
Quote For the record, I believe that Jesus was raised as flesh in a new Body. As so it will be for all of the resurrected.
We can't bring Christ down again 2Besse. God is spirit, and now his Son is raised just like him. We get the same reward too if we endure.1 Corinthians 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
So you see, Christ cannot be flesh.
Now concerning the kingdom during the millenium. The ones who died in Christ will take part in the FIRST RESURRECTION. Please note that the first resurrection takes place at Christ's coming. This is when all the dead in Christ are raised and changed to meet Christ in the air when he returns. The ones alive at the coming will be changed (quickened) to spirit. And together they will meet the Lord in the air. Only those who died IN CHRIST.
The saints are all those who take part in the first resurrection. These ones will reign with Christ in their new spiritual bodies. The Israelites however, will be raised into flesh, not spirit. Theres a big difference here. God will take away their affliction, and that nation will meet their true messiah, and learn off him. After the thousand years at the 2nd resurrection, they will be raised to spirit. Not one of them that lived in the kingdom during that 1000 years will be lost. There will be others also who live OUTSIDE the kingdom, that will be raised spirit at 2nd resurrection (judgement day),….but many will be lost.January 6, 2013 at 3:03 pm#326913journey42ParticipantQuote (journey42 @ Jan. 07 2013,00:58) Hi 2Besse Quote YOU three believe that the dead will be raised as Spirits, not flesh…. truth is like a puzzle ,how more pieces you have in place how more of the picture you see,
but in no way ,by looking at the mixed pieces you can see any sense of the picture ,,
this is how we know who is seeing with truth and the ones who do not ,
so the question we should ask ourself is DO WE HAVE TAKEN IN ACCOUNT ALL OF THE RELATED SCRIPTURES If not what we think to be true may in deed be false ,

A little here and alittle there, avoiding questions that can incriminate.Looking here, and looking there;you are not securely anchored. Just blowing with the wind.
believing that Christ has alredy come 2000yrs ago; but also believing that the 144000 are the *FIRST FRUIT*.You Can not see the CONTRADICTION.
How can the 144000 be the *FIRST FRUITS* if there was already the FIRST resurrection? And the coming resurrection is the SECOND resurrection?HOW CAN THE FIRST FRUITS BE IN THE SECOND RESURRECTION?? this boggles my mind.
Now; you go and hide yourself again, and just ignore.

Hi Journey,Did you somehow miss this post?
Ed
Just because your numbers say it so, doesn't mean it's true. How can you not understand after all these years, that when Christ rose from the dead,
he saw Mary in the morning,
told her to tell the apostles that he goes to the Father, and that he will meet them later that day at Galilee, which he did by evening.. He stayed for forty days from that day, taught the apostles,Christ said this before his death
John 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
Jesus has the Spirit of God. He is not the Spirit of God. Christ says it so clearly, IF I DON'T GO AWAY, THE COMFORTER WILL NOT COME.
He sent them the holy spirit, the spirit of truth, because he was no longer with them in their company.
Now they can perform acts of God, with that same spirit Christ had in him.John 16:8 And when he is come, …he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgement:
The HOLY SPIRIT will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgement, because it is the SPIRIT OF TRUTH, and makes all things manifest. The truth shines in darkness, and is a witness against it.
John 16:13 Howbeit, when he….the Spirit of truth is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come.
John 16:14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and show it unto you.
So Ed, how can you confuse this with the coming of Christ? The one the scriptures speak of, THAT DAY, When he comes with all his angels and saints, and punishes the world for their evil and destroys Babylon. THAT'S THE DAY I'M ASKING PIERRE ABOUT. THE COMING.

Do you agree that this was fulfilled on “Pentecost” – yes or no?No, not the verse you quoted. Look at what Christ is saying
“If a man love me he will keep my words….and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.”This also applies also to you and me Ed. It is speaking to all of us, of all generations. We were not there at Pentecost, so his words are being fulfilled for us everyday, as we experience it…. even 2013 years later, not just then. This is a general simple rule.

No. Absolutely not.
Christ spoke this to his apostles just before his crucifixion. They did not see him for 3 days, for he was dead. They were greiving, but they saw him the day he rose, …this was the day THEY rejoiced, when they realised that he was back from the dead. Then he stayed with them for 40 days and taught them. Then he left to sit at the right hand of the Father. Then Pentecost. Christ was in heaven with the Father during Pentecost, and fulfilled his promise of sending the holy spirit, because he could no longer be with them. Why can't you understand the scripture?
John 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

Pierre,I just wanted a straight answer. I know those scriptures.
If you have no idea when he returns, that's fine. Your reply shows me that you believe he is returning.
Now could you please tell me what happens when he returns in your own words, in short.
Pretend you are on the street and you strike a conversation with someone concerning the Lords coming, and they are very interested and want to hear all you have to say. You don't have a bible on you at the time, but you only have 10 minutes, because the bus is coming soon.
How would you answer with your own words so that person can understand quickly & clearly?

Greetings Wakeup,Great point.
It seems Ed, Pierre & 2besee have been seduced by those worldly doctrines concerning the kingdom which are doing the rounds once again.
They don't realise that their doctrines started in Alexandria in around the 3rd century AD & was greatly condemned even back then!!
ALEXANDRIA for crying out loud!!
If it wasn't for the CATHOLICS adopting Amillennialism, we probably would never had heard this greatly condemned apostasy again…
You guys have swallowed a CATHOLIC adopted doctrine Ed, Terra & 2besee!!
You know, that church that killed the true Christians & worships idols & rapes little boys & calls their leader “Father” & hoards untold riches & has freemasons amongst their ranks & whose priests on the whole dont even believe in God etc etc etc etc…
That is through whom this doctrine was preserved all this time…
And “lately” the PENTACOSTALS & THE LUTHERANS have also taken on board this apostasy too.Mainstream religion!!
Tossed by every “trendy” doctrine the tide brings in.
And people still fall for it every time!!Shame.
