    Wakeup, Journey and Devo,

    1) I do not follow the SDA teachings on prophecy, I do not even KNOW what they teach (much) but, one or two things that they do teach I agree with partly. So, can you please stop saying that I follow the SDA teachings, because, I don't. Thank-you.

    2) Journey, I did enjoy talking to you, but…. then nothing that I said meant anything because you three were 100% right whilst everybody else was wrong.

    2Besee.

What we are telling you is that the doctrine you have in your mind is not correct.
We are helping you to get the accurate true teachings of the scriptures.

Let the scriptures be the judge.
    Dont deny the judge.

If we are wrong, the scriptures will show us wrong ,and we will reconsider.

Dont get upset if I use hard words sometimes, this is to put an impact on you guys that has been too settled in your doctrine that can not hold any water.

We are all here to discuss one thing;the scriptures.
so lets focus on the scriptures.

I noticed that most are too proud to ask questions.?

    Greetings.

tell me, how long have you been studying (together) for?

    Hi 2Besse

Sorry about the SDA thing.  I'll take your word for it.

How long have we been studying together?
Well Wakeup first, he's the oldest (sorry wakeup!) and has been studying for 40 odd years.  He was a staunch aetheist, but then God put him through the mill to open his eyes.  He was first shown the bible by a relative (aunty i think) and she was JW.  He started to read that bible but didn't go to their church.  He read on his own ever since.  He doesn't agree with the JW teachings.
Myself, I started to study with Wakeup (my uncle) when I was  nearly 13.  I am nearly 44 now.  He told me the basics, gave me a bible, and I asked him questions for 8 solid weeks on the weekends.  I didn't know a single thing, so all was new to me.  I didn't see him much for a few years, but when I had questions, I wrote them all down and went to visit him when I got my drivers licence.  I have been in touch with him since then, not on a regular basis, but here and there as much as I can.  More now than ever.  I read for myself, and there were alot of things I couldn't understand.  He has a lot of patience with me, and a good teacher.  My questions have also stirred his mind even further, and got him thinking on other things he didn't realise, so he searches and searches the scriptures for the answer, and doesn't rest until he finds it.  So that's how we learn.  Theres always a challenge.  I have never met anyone more dedicated to the Word of God, without all the hype, and able to understand the scriptures and bring up the topics he does.  He takes no credit whatsoever, but gets excited when someone is eager to learn.  He is a loner, and on his own, and very content.  I know you all don't like him much because you think he is a know it all, but I can vouch, a true man of God, and if you all ever got to meet him, to know him for yourselves, you would be red faced.  I mean this with God as my witness.  I am so blessed to know him.

As for Devo, he's always read for a long time, but started to come to Wakeups with me on a weekly basis for about 5 years.  He reads on his own, and brings up some interesting finds.  If he is wrong about something, and shown, he always accepts his error. It may take him sometimes a few hours of discussing, debating, and proof, but in the end, he shows that he loves the truth more than his pride. I like that about him.
He has sleepless nights over the scriptures if he can't understand something.  It eats at him.  He always finds in the end what he is searching for.  He is a true man of God, and I've seen him give up many worldly things and go through spiritual struggles and battles, by denying his flesh, and overcoming temptation.  He knows the scriptures like the back of his hand, and takes them very seriously.  We have always held each other up, and blunt with each other.  He gets on well with me because I don't sugar coat things, and he's the same.

So at the end of it all, we all read the bible for ourselves.  Not just once, but over and over and over.  Not in order either. We agree on things, and if we disagree, we debate, we refute, we challenge, and always present our scriptures, because this is the final authority, and knowing the plan of God from beginning to end is also a bonus.  Everything must fit, and nothing can contradict.  Not everything is straightforward in the bible, and God has made it that way on purpose and hidden his gems in his words, so that only the true seekers can find them.  If one's heart is not right, or he is feeding on another flesh, then God will hide the truth from him, and not only that, whatever measure we give, will be given to us.  So if we only search “a little bit” he will only reveal “a little bit” to us, but if we search with pure hunger, and keep going, then God will reveal much more.  That's what it boils down to.  Everyone a different measure according to what they put in.

And one important thing we've learn't is to not teach until we are fully equipped. Preaching the basics is ok, but the deep things of God is not to be taken lightly. If we have the spirit of error in us, we are damned and I would hate to think of the consequences. It is no light matter.

Gog and Magog is the war between God and satan, and his armies.

The second coming is the war between Jesus and satan and his kingdom called Babylon the great.

Therefore ,one can not put it in one basket.Which all do.
This is the sign of lacking the Holy spirit.

so again I like what you so clearly spelled out :)

Thank you for sharing that Journey.

I also seek truth and it is the main thing that I think about. like Wakeup I also 'stick to myself'. I found peace with God and my old life is gone. I have a problem with spending too much time on the Internet and it is a bad habit that i want to break because I know that when I manage to break free totally, I will be back to the true sense of peace and spirit that God first gave me.

    Thanks for your story :)

    Hi Ed,

The Holy Spirit was sent at Pentecost. Jesus is in heaven with God. Is that not what Scripture says.

I can understand where you get the idea from, because Jesus did say that he is going to heaven and that he would send the Holy Spirit, and then soon after — He said that HE would come to — and that He and the Father would come and make their abode with us.

But, it seems to me that the Holy Spirit is the connection between us and heaven (us and God and Jesus) who can be with us in spirit whilst also being in heaven — all through the Holy Spirit which is the Spirit of God.

I know there is much more for me to understand regarding this, though.

    Hi 2Besee,

“Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea,
though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now
henceforth know we him no more.” (2Cor 5:16)

When (Shaool) the Apostle Paul said this, was he
talking only to his generation or to all generations?
He certainly didn't mean know Christ in a carnal way.

Second questions: Regarding Gog and Magog: Is this world generation.

    1. Where would be the camp of the saints today?

    2. Is not Jesus coming next? Why not mntioned in rev20.

3 If so,then why would God be personally involved in destroying satan.(rev.19.says otherwise).

    4. Jesus is coming to destroy the beast and the false prophet;whats going on here?

5.Why are the dead burried in the valley of hamongog, instead of the valley of hinom?

    6. Why is it called Gog and Magog ; and not Armageddon?

7.What is the need of the second coming,if the world is going to be melted?

    8. Where would isaiah 11:6–11. 65:17–25. Fit in this whole scenario, if the earth is going to be melted down?

All these questions needs to be answered, if that doctrine is to be accepted.

    wakeup.

Wakeup, Journey and Devo, read your posts, thanks.
tell me, how long have you been studying (together) for?

    Bless you.

    Thanks 2Besse

Yes being on the internet does take up a lot of our time. My husband hates me on it. He says you love that thing more than us. I don't love the internet, I just love God more than anyone else. I love his scriptures, I love his words, I love discussing, love people that love him, and I love stirring up people to go deeper into the scriptures. I would rather speak to someone in person any day.
Regarding family, I think of this verse

Matthew 10:37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

Once we get our priorities right, God first, then everything falls into place. My children are good children and they feel very loved and nurtured. My husband is not interested in spiritual things unfortunately.

But in all honesty, I think it's a good thing, this chat site, because if someone asks us a question then we have to learn how to answer. We have to look up scriptures and search, and it keeps our noses in the Word of God. Whilst searching we may find things we were not even looking for.
The internet is just a tool for us to communicate. We all live on different sides of the world, yet we come together in discussion on the one thing closest to our hearts. I think that's a great thing because If I tried to talk to my neighbours they'd tell me where to go! My relations never mention the word “God” in front of me because they don't want to hear it, but they are happy to say Christ's name in vain. It's so sad.

I'm glad that you are searching and sticking to yourself. We are all peculiar people. Loners. I think God likes that about us. I'm sorry to hear that your true sense of peace and spirit have been taken away from being on here, and I'm sorry if I've ever made you feel this way. This site will bring out the best and the worst in us. We will be p
ut to the maximum test. We can also learn to exercise patience, perseverence, and above all love, no matter what. It's not a contest of who knows the most. You see there have been many on this site for years, saying this and that, then someone comes on and says, no you are wrong. It doesn't go down well. I rarely ever hear anyone say, I've never heard of that before, that's very interesting, or wow, it makes sense, or I'll look into it. You have, and I like that about you, and Mike too. I love humble people. Don't loose what you've got 2Besse. Don't make this site harden you. God only wants to add more to you.

    love to you in Christ
    Journey.
