    Hi BD,
Do you always guess these things?

Is that scripture not talking about Jesus?

I know it is about Jesus, why?

    Does Jesus know “The Hour”?

If you say no, then you agree that he is blind to the hour, so what say you?

    Hi BD,
You love judging but is it good for you to Judge God's approved servants when you own approval hangs in the balance?

So when Jesus calls himself the one who died and lives you close your ears?

    Nick,

I have to say, it would be nice to get a direct answer on this one from you; it is obvious you are side-stepping.

Some holes in the story should not be ignored, or brushed aside with the idea that we shouldn't question the holes.

Scripture does point to the fact that “Jesus is blind” to the knowledge of when he will return. Perhaps he knows NOW? But he didn't when he was on earth.

Thank you for your honesty it is very refreshing especially because Nick keeps saying that it is me saying these things and it is the scripture itself.

    Isaiah 42:18-20 (King James Version)

19 Who is blind, but my servant? or deaf, as my messenger that I sent? who is blind as he that is perfect, and blind as the LORD's servant?

It is interesting that the language is not first person:

No what is interesting is you turn your face from the truth.

They were on their way up to Jerusalem, with Jesus leading the way, and the disciples were astonished, while those who followed were afraid. Again “HE TOOK THE TWELVE ASIDE AND TOLD THEM WHAT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN TO HIM“. “We are going up to Jerusalem,” he said, “and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and teachers of the law. They will condemn him to death and will hand him over to the Gentiles, who will mock him and spit on him, flog him and kill him. Three days later he will rise.”   Mark 10:32-34

Jesus speaks in the 2nd and 3rd person often.

There are probably hundreds of scriptures referring to his death, burial and resurrection!

    Hi BD

Do you remember Adam and Eve was blind before they sinned.

Jesus was blind to sin because he knew no sin.

We are dead to the world and therfore we also should be blind to the worlds ways and deaf to their words.

So the scripture you quote is not meaning what you say.

Jesus called the Hypocrites blind, do you believe this is what the prophet is saying of the one who is perfect?

That is correct but what you don't still understand is that would also mean he can't see what the Will of his Father is except what is made known to him.

This also would demonstrate that Jesus could not be God for if he were God, he would know the Hour, but he doesn't know the hour so can God lack knowledge?

    Matthew 4
6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

Now the devil was quoting Psam 91 regarding the protection of Jesus.

Now lets look carefully at Psalm 91

1He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

    5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.

8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.

    9Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;

10There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

11For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

12They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

13Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

14Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

15He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.

16With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

    Psalm 116
1I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications.

2Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.

3The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.

4Then called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.

5Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.

You do not win being crucified, you win by God saving you from crucifixion. You don't defeat death by dying and coming back to life if that is the case than Lazarus preceded Jesus.

God is great! He said referring to Jesus that the angels would protect him from any harm but you seem to not want to believe that. It is certainly a higher teaching, it is meat.

    Luke 4

10 For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee:

11 And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

    5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

    9Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;

6The LORD preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.

7Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.

8For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.

    Psalm 118
15The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.

16The right hand of the LORD is exalted: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.

17I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.

18The LORD hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death.

    Hebrews 5:7 (King James Version)

    7Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;

    Hi BD:

He saved him from eternal death or eternal separation from God.  He raised him from the dead, and death has no more dominion over him.  He has been given eternal life.

    This from Romans:

    Quote
9knowing that Christ, having been (Q)raised from the dead, is never to die again; ®death no longer is master over Him.
10For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God.

So are you saying this is false:

From Luke 4, Matthew 4 and Psalm 91 which are 3 witnesses

11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

This is solid scriptural proof Luke and Matthew solidify that this scripture was pertaining to Jesus Christ and Psalm 91 is the proof text that shows it to be a prophecy of the future if Jesus was harmed this scripture is a lie but it is not it is the truth Jesus was not killed or crucified.

Someone was crucified and it was a son of man but it was not Jesus Christ.

    Hi BD:

He was tempted in every way yet without sin, and so, God delivered him from the evil one.  Men have the power to kill the body, but they can not kill the soul, and men will threaten to do this or that to you if you don't do what they say, but Jesus endured all of their insults and everything they could possibly do to him.

God raised Jesus from the dead, and so, guess who won.

Jesus was crucified but he is alive forever more.

    Love in Christ,
    Marty

You do not win being crucified, you win by God saving you from crucifixion. You don't defeat death by dying and coming back to life if that is the case than Lazarus preceded Jesus.

God is great! He said referring to Jesus that the angels would protect him from any harm but you seem to not want to believe that. It is certainly a higher teaching, it is meat.

    Hi BD:

He won and we win by obeying God even unto death in spite of what any man can do to us.

    Quote
Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Rev 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

Rev 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of thei
r testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

    Love in Christ,
    Marty
