For those who like to make up their mind as they go, get some truth into you and declare what will happen in advance. Testify that these scriptures are true and will be fulfilled. Work with the truth and not against it, and God will open your eyes more.

Realise first who the focus in on during the millennium? Who is at the centre of attention here, and for what purpose? You will need to read many more prophecies to get your answer and see the clearer picture, but can look at this to start with.

Isaiah 14:1 For the LORD will have mercy on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and set them in their own land: and the strangers shall be joined with them, and they shall cleave to the house of Jacob.
Don’t write this off as Israel being in their own land now, because Israel are still scattered all over the earth and are not living in peace, but always at war. You only have to read revelations to find out that Israel will be invaded and occupied by the false prophet and the beast for three and a half years, then the kings of the East come in causing much devestation, and all this leads up to the great war against the lamb in their country where there will be plenty of death. Then the coming, where Christ will judge the nations with great fury

Isaiah 14:2 And the people shall take them, and bring them to their place: and the house of Israel shall possess them in the land of the LORD for servants and handmaids: and they shall take them captives, whose captives they were; and they shall rule over their oppressors.
The oppressors will be those who invade Israel and rule over them. Many Israelites will flee to neighbouring countries also and will offer themselves as slaves for protection. Those oppressors will be used for Israel’s servants in the kingdom when “established on earth”

Isaiah 14:3 And it shall come to pass in the day that the LORD shall give thee rest from thy sorrow, and from thy fear, and from the hard bondage wherein thou wast made to serve,
…In that day…when Christ returns will they receive rest, but before that happens they will go through much sorrow.

Isaiah 14:4 That thou shalt take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say, How hath the oppressor ceased! the golden city ceased!
The king of Babylon is Satan. Babylon is his kingdom. Babylon is referred to as “The golden city”. Satan will be bound at the return of Christ, and his kingdom will be replaced with Christ’s kingdom.

Isaiah 14:5 The LORD hath broken the staff of the wicked, and the sceptre of the rulers.
All the rulers who have oppressed in Satan’s kingdom, will have their power taken away

Isaiah 14:6 He who smote the people in wrath with a continual stroke, he that ruled the nations in anger, is persecuted, and none hindereth.
…”He” is Satan, is going to be put away for a while, and none can help him

Isaiah 14:7 The whole earth is at rest, and is quiet: they break forth into singing.
This is the 1000 year rest, Satan put away, the oppressor is gone for a long time

Isaiah 14:8 Yea, the fir trees rejoice at thee, and the cedars of Lebanon, saying, Since thou art laid down, no feller is come up against us.
Peace from war for a thousand years.
Micah 4:3 And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

Isaiah 14:9 Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming: it stirreth up the dead for thee, even all the chief ones of the earth; it hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations.
Satan will be let lose one more time, but not for long and will gather Gog and Magog for the final war. Judgement day is very close

Good to promote this prophecy of Isaiah 14. Why do you think that it all must happen at the return of Jesus?

Isaiah 14:1-6 The Lord will have compassion on Jacob [all 12 tribes] and will once again make Israel His choice. He will resettle them on their native soil, where aliens will join them. Nations will escort the Israelites to their homeland, they will take their captors, captive and will rule over their oppressors.

On the Day that the Lord breaks the power of the wicked, who conquered nations and persecuted peoples, His people, saved and redeemed, will exult over their enemies.

Isaiah 14:7-8 All the lands are at rest and at peace, even the trees rejoice at the destruction of the enemy.  Isaiah 13:9

Isaiah 14:9-11 Sheol below greets them. The spirits of the departed meet the wicked, as they descend, saying: You, too, have become weak, like us. Your pride has been brought low, maggots and worms cover you now.

Isaiah 14:12-17 Bright morning star, how you have fallen from heaven, you are now cast down to earth. You thought to yourself: I will ascend to heaven, to set my throne above the stars of God and make myself like the Most High! But you are brought down to sheol, to the depths of the abyss. Those who see you say: Is this the man who shook the earth and conquered peoples?

Isaiah 14:18-26 Kings of nations lie in honour, but you are cast out, like carrion, for you have destroyed your land and killed your people. Your children shall not rise to greatness again. Babylon and Assyria are totally destroyed, never again to rise.

Isaiah 14:27 The Lord has prepared His plan, no one can frustrate it.

Isaiah 14:28-31 An oracle from God: Do not rejoice, all you Philistines, that the rod that struck you is broken, for from the root of the snake will spring up a viper, it will strike with venom of fire. The poor and needy, [righteous Israel] will find pasture, they will dwell in safety. But your offspring I shall destroy by famine and your remnant I shall slay by the sword. Wail at the gate, let all Philistia be stricken with panic, for fire and smoke will come upon you.

Isaiah 14:32 What answer shall be given to that nations envoys? It is that the Lord has established Zion and in that Land, His afflicted people will find refuge.                                                               Ref: REB, NIV, KJV. Some verses abridged.

Verses 1-11 ‘once again I choose Israel’- This will be the Second Exodus, the true descendants of Jacob will gather and settle in Greater Israel. Foreigners will join them. Ezekiel 20:34-37, Isaiah 11:11-12.

It happens soon after the Lord “breaks the power of His enemies”. Joel 1:15 & 19, Hab. 3:12, Isaiah 2:12-22, Revelation 6:12-17.

Verses 12-26 Satan is cast out of heaven. Ezekiel 28:11-19. Then after the Return of Jesus, sent to the abyss. Revelation 19:20, Daniel 11:45.

Verses 28-31 Philistia [Palestine] will be destroyed by a fire, a CME and famine judgement. Psalm 83, Amos 1:6-8 Jeremiah 47:4-7, Joel 3:4.

Verse 32 New Israel, Beulah- Isaiah 62:1-5, is established; His people living in peace and security. Ezekiel 38:8b, Jeremiah 46:27, Hosea 14:4-7, Ephesians 2:13-18.
