Quote (Lightenup @ May 30 2012,10:18) BD,
For Him to say that He was the Son of God, literally, then He would be saying that He is also God. You said that yourself:Quote If any of you believe that Jesus is the literal son of God then you will have to agree that Jesus is GOD because each kind according to its kind is the rule of Procreation and if this is the case then you should all be Catholic and believe as they do Jesus is telling the Pharisees that it isn't blasphemy to be called god…even men were called gods. Then He goes on to say that it especially isn't blasphemy to make thyself out to be God if you actually are, as the literal Son of God.
The Pharisees, couldn't accept that there could be a literal Son of God…like muslims. They were wrong and so are the muslims in this regard.
H didn't say literally, you said literally he explained that he was sanctified by God, he explained that by doing the will of God he is being like a son and he is saying that others who were called gods(Because the word of God was in them) were not accused of blasphemy although they were not gods at all he is saying that calling himself son of God was more fitting. He in no way explained to them “I am God” Nor did he claim that the things he did was of his own doing he gave all Glory to God just like you should be doing.
But instead you reduce God Almighty, The MOST HIGH down to a group membership?

Now, now, don't exaggerate BD.
Where did I ever claim that the Most High was a group membership? Is your family a group membership??May 31, 2012 at 4:09 am#331905bodhithartaParticipantQuote (Lightenup @ May 31 2012,13:18) BD,

My Family is a group and there are members in that group so yes. God is not a plural term consisting of members that is why God is not called “Gods”May 31, 2012 at 5:02 am#331906LightenupParticipantBD,
Please note that you just wrote:
“My family is…” Do you see how the word 'family' is not a plural term yet it does consist of members. hmmm. So, God does not have to be called 'Gods' and 'family' does not have to be called 'families' for either to consist of members…do you see?
Let's discuss it further in the other thread though, ok?June 1, 2012 at 2:02 pm#331907bodhithartaParticipantQuote (Lightenup @ May 31 2012,16:02) BD,

What other thread? Have you ever said “I am Family” eferring only to yourself as all of Family? Have you ever said there is no family besides me?June 2, 2012 at 2:06 am#331908LightenupParticipantBD,
