Hi,
Jas 3.11
“Does a fountain send out from the same opening both fresh and bitter water?”The Word of God is pure and the Spirit that is given by Jesus[Jn7] is as that water and should produce from our mouths the same pure words.
When we add to the pure words as bitter with sweet we contaminate it and it becomes no longer the words of our God but our own words, useless unto salvation.

Hi Nick,People need: “BIBLE PERCEPTION“=151, to understand “BIBLE TRUTH“=117 ! (AKJV Eph.4:22-24)
“The Word”: Father=151
God's Word is: Like a mustard seed taking time to grow; you will not understand this all at once. (Luke 13:18-19)
Eph. 5:26: That he(YHVH) might sanctify and cleanse it(The Believer) with the washing of water by the word,“Fresh Water: Eden”=151
Gen.2:10 And a river went out of Eden to water the garden;
and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads. The Four Heads can be illustrated using the AKJV Bible in conjunction with
Gematria(The God Numbers=151) and “Block Geometry”=151 and the Greek word for God…The AKJV Bible uses JEHOVAH “Four Times” in the singular Representing Jah…
JAH (Psalm 68:4)……………………….used only “once”!
1) JEHOVAH (Exodus 6:3)…………(Exodus 17:15)
3) JEHOVAH (Psalm 83:18)……….LORD of Hosts
2) JEHOVAH (Isaiah 26:4)………….(Judges 6:24)
4) JEHOVAH (Isaiah 12:2)………..(Gen.22:14)Greek has Four ways of saying God in the Plural and one
in Singular form representing Jah (all are pronounced Thēôs)…θεε
1) θεος
2) θεου
3) θεω
4) θεονBlock Geometry=151 can also help to illustrate…
YHVH GOD is One=151
1) The LORD JEHOVAH=151
2) LORD of Hosts=151
3) Holy Spirit=151
4) Jesus Christ=151
The God Numbers=151(Gematria) illustrates: 26 (1)117 (2)63 (3)151 (4)74 this pattern as well.
YHVH GOD is ONE=151 (Deut.6:4 / Eph.4:6)
1) The LORD JEHOVAH=151 (Isaiah 12:2 / Isaiah 26:4) (Old “Testament”=117)
2) LORD of Hosts=151…(AKJV Bible)…His Hosts=117: Jesus and ALL of His brethren! (Rev.11:15)
3) Holy Spirit=151 (“The word” of “GOD”: Both Old and New “Testament”=117)
4) Jesus Christ=151 (“Testator“=151) (Hebrews 9:16-17) (New “Testament”=117)“YHVH is GOD”=117
PSALM 117 is [The Bible's Center], the “[smallest chapter]” of the [LARGEST BOOK]!Witnessing to the world in behalf of… (Psalm 45:17)
117=יהוה האלהים(JEHOVAH GOD) YÄ-hä-vā hä ĔL-ō-Hêêm!

The word can wash men unto cleanliness for salvation as shown in Jn15 and other places.
And that word washes his church cleansing it.But none of these things give men the Spirit of God which Jesus gives.

Hi Nick,It takes the HolySpirit on the inside for a person to even begin to grasp this.
I don't tell beginners all this stuff, because it is way too advanced for them.
But the believers on this site are advanced enough for it, as you well know.God bless you Nick,

The Spirit does sanctify believers but does not wash them… unlike water and the word.March 7, 2010 at 12:57 pm#182320terrariccaParticipantedj
is it not vivid words of the word of God who does the work ??
we can only be the carriers of that word as the fresh waters,if we teach lets not tremble the water so that our own views become confusion to the listener, the confusion does not lay with the word of God ,but in those preaching it.
Eze 34:18 Is it not enough for you to feed on the good pasture? Must you also trample the rest of your pasture with your feet? Is it not enough for you to drink clear water? Must you also muddy the rest with your feet?
Jer 2:13 “My people have committed two sins:
They have forsaken me,
the spring of living water,
and have dug their own cisterns,
broken cisterns that cannot hold waterIsa 12:3 With joy you will draw water
from the wells of salvation.
Isa 18:2 which sends envoys by sea
in papyrus boats over the water.
Go, swift messengers,
to a people tall and smooth-skinned,
to a people feared far and wide,
an aggressive nation of strange speech,
whose land is divided by rivers.Isa 22:9 you saw that the City of David
had many breaches in its defenses;
you stored up water
in the Lower Pool.
Isa 22:11 You built a reservoir between the two walls
for the water of the Old Pool,
but you did not look to the One who made it,
or have regard for the One who planned it long ago.
Isa 27:3 I, the LORD, watch over it;
I water it continually.
I guard it day and night
so that no one may harm it.
Isa 28:17 I will make justice the measuring line
and righteousness the plumb line;Isa 30:20 Although the Lord gives you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, your teachers will be hidden no more; with your own eyes you will see them.
Isa 32:6 For the fool speaks folly,
his mind is busy with evil:
He practices ungodliness
and spreads error concerning the LORD;
the hungry he leaves empty
and from the thirsty he withholds waterIsa 33:16 this is the man who will dwell on the heights,
whose refuge will be the mountain fortress.
His bread will be supplied,
and water will not fail him.
Isa 35:6 Then will the lame leap like a deer,
and the mute tongue shout for joy.
Water will gush forth in the wilderness
and streams in the desertChrist and his apostles have made the water fall in abundance to the thirsty of righteous ,let not trample it.

Peter was influenced and taught by the Spirit before he was baptised in that Spirit.[mt16]
Jesus gave the Spirit to his brothers also before that spirit baptism.[Jn20.22]March 7, 2010 at 8:09 pm#182345Ed JParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ Mar. 08 2010,05:43) Hi ED,

Hi Nick,I usually understand the point you wish to make.
But could you elaborate some more on this point? Are you referring to how it applies to people in general?
Are you hinting of a direct connection to information I Post?
I think I know what you mean, but not sure of your application?God bless
Ed JMarch 7, 2010 at 8:18 pm#182346NickHassanParticipantHi ED,
Receiving the Spirit is not the same as baptism in that Spirit as the scriptures above show.
God is close to all men [acts17]He graces the humble with repentance and wisdom.
Jesus is the one who baptises in the Spirit.

Those who teach must ensure they speak from the Word.
New teachings are anathema. From the mouth comes what the heart is full of.

How can the thoughts of men improve the words of God?
They only risk contaminating itJas 3.11
“Does a fountain send out from the same opening both fresh and bitter water?”May 1, 2018 at 8:06 pm#822942NickHassanParticipantHi,
1 Tim6.3
If anyone advocates a different doctrine, and does not agree with sound words, those of our Lord Jesus Christ, and with the doctrine conforming to godliness, he is conceited and understands nothing; but he has a morbid interest in controversial questions and disputes about words, out of which arise envy, strife, abusive language, evil suspicions and constant friction between men of depraved mind, and deprived of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain.
Sweet and bitter water do not mix.
