Are the meanings of the words forever and eternity (endless) a figment of imagination made up by people or was God trying to put an entirely different meaning across, such as forever and eternity meaning an extremely lengthy amount of time?

Or are we right in this interpretation of this meaning endless?

Though being in hell without end is terrible, the thought of being with God in Heaven without end is extremely pleasing. I would like you to enlighten me on the above post, please.

Endless is a misstranslation of the words Aionian or eonian.
Aion or eon means age. Aionian means during or through the age.

chap, hell is eternal, but those who are condemned to die the second death are burned up and turn to ash and dust. If they burned forever in hell, then life in hell would also be everlasting, and this is contradictory to Scripture.

what happens to hell when it is cast into the lake of fire?

Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
