ParticipantCO,
Rather than resorting to personal abuse please show how Jesus restricted his words then to Israel.November 18, 2008 at 10:54 pm#112169chosenone
ParticipantBelieve His (Jesus) words.

ParticipantCO,
You have not shown yet how you come to believe that the words of Jesus apply only to Israel.
Paul never came to speak to you yet you seem to accept his teaching to the saved.
What of the preaching of Jesus and Paul about entering the kingdom of God?
If you cannot accept the preaching how can you claim the teachings?November 24, 2008 at 8:15 pm#112346chosenone
ParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ Nov. 24 2008,06:41) CO,
You have not shown yet how you come to believe that the words of Jesus apply only to Israel.
Read Matt.15:24 and Ro.15:8 and Ro.15:16.November 24, 2008 at 8:28 pm#112347NickHassan
ParticipantCO,
You quote Rom15
8Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:9And that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto thy name.
10And again he saith, Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his people.
11And again, Praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles; and laud him, all ye people.
12And again, Esaias saith, There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles trust.
13Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
14And I myself also am persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another.
15Nevertheless, brethren, I have written the more boldly unto you in some sort, as putting you in mind, because of the grace that is given to me of God,
16That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost.
So these verses show which servant empowered by God's Spirit physically ministered to which groups.
Nowhere does it say that either servant's words apply ONLY to those groups.
So these evidences are not relevant and mat 15 is also.Do you have ANY that say what you claim to be true?

Participant8 Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:
16That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost.
You neglect Matt.15:24!
Reread carefully, you may understand yet!

ParticipantCO,
Jesus never taught that his words were to be confined to his listeners
but you do for the sake of your false doctrine?November 25, 2008 at 8:22 pm#112433chosenone
ParticipantYes, He did, see Matt.15:24 His very words!
November 25, 2008 at 8:25 pm#112434NickHassan
ParticipantCO,
Mt 15 does not restrict the glorious teachings of the son of God to the Jews.Do you have any that do?
If not you should not teach this.November 25, 2008 at 9:52 pm#112441chosenone
ParticipantI will believe scripture, not “Nicks gospel”, which is non-biblical.
November 25, 2008 at 9:55 pm#112443NickHassan
ParticipantCO,
The Gospel of the kingdom of God is found in the mouth of Jesus and Paul and all God's apostles.November 25, 2008 at 9:56 pm#112444NickHassan
ParticipantCO,
If Mat 15 does not say the words of Jesus are exclusively for the Jews then do you have any others to offer us?November 26, 2008 at 12:06 am#112446chosenone
ParticipantAlas! But He does. Matt.15:24

ParticipantCO,
Where does mat 15 say only the Jews are to ever receive the words of God through Jesus?November 26, 2008 at 7:11 pm#112472chosenone
ParticipantMatt.15:24 … Now He, answering, said, “I was not commissioned except for the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”
These are the very words of Jesus Himself, how you can not believe His very words??? are you in denial of truth? If you cannot understand this, I can't explain it to you, you need help.

ParticipantCO,
Yes he went and ministered to the Jews.
