    King Neb realised the power is all in God's hand. He humbled himself before God, praised him and gave honor to him. God then restored the kingdom back to him. This was a blessing to him. He knows this now. He does have a happy ending.

    agreed, but he did not change his ways ,and make the God of Israel the only God to be worshiped in his kingdom ,so the seven years of his madness was personal to him ,for his understanding ,but Daniel says “”IF ONLY ” but the dream so to my understanding was not ONLY for King NABU interest of his personal feelings, just like Moses did not Go to Pharaoh but for all he represented ,his empire, his gods, his will.(the beast of Satan on earth)

    so King Nebu, ad come to the same thing and thought that he was stronger than all the existing gods by his ability to win against Israel ,even stronger than the God almighty of the Israelites ,ego was his problem ,but so was it with Satan his ego brought him down ,

    but as for Satan the seven years are way longer than seven of our years, but when was Satan brought down but his stump remained on earth, and wen was his tree so big that it touches the sky and went all over the earth ????

    I can see from the poll that all who voted believe the woman is a religion or religious organisatiion.

    Babylon stands for what

    Da 4:10 These are the visions I saw while lying in my bed: I looked, and there before me stood a tree in the middle of the land. Its height was enormous.
    Da 4:11 The tree grew large and strong and its top touched the sky; it was visible to the ends of the earth.
    Da 4:12 Its leaves were beautiful, its fruit abundant, and on it was food for all. Under it the beasts of the field found shelter, and the birds of the air lived in its branches; from it every creature was fed.
    Da 4:13 “In the visions I saw while lying in my bed, I looked, and there before me was a messenger, a holy one, coming down from heaven.
    Da 4:14 He called in a loud voice: ‘Cut down the tree and trim off its branches; strip off its leaves and scatter its fruit. Let the animals flee from under it and the birds from its branches.
    Da 4:15 But let the stump and its roots, bound with iron and bronze, remain in the ground, in the grass of the field.
    “ ‘Let him be drenched with the dew of heaven, and let him live with the animals among the plants of the earth.
    Da 4:16 Let his mind be changed from that of a man and let him be given the mind of an animal, till seven times pass by for him.
    Da 4:17 “ ‘The decision is announced by messengers, the holy ones declare the verdict, so that the living may know that the Most High is sovereign over the kingdoms of men and gives them to anyone he wishes and sets over them the lowliest of men.’
    Da 4:18 “This is the dream that I, King Nebuchadnezzar, had. Now, Belteshazzar, tell me what it means, for none of the wise men in my kingdom can interpret it for me. But you can, because the spirit of the holy gods is in you.”

    Daniel Interprets the Dream

    Da 4:19 Then Daniel (also called Belteshazzar) was greatly perplexed for a time, and his thoughts terrified him. So the king said, “Belteshazzar, do not let the dream or its meaning alarm you.”
    Belteshazzar answered, “My lord, if only the dream applied to your enemies and its meaning to your adversaries!
    Da 4:20 The tree you saw, which grew large and strong, with its top touching the sky, visible to the whole earth,
    Da 4:21 with beautiful leaves and abundant fruit, providing food for all, giving shelter to the beasts of the field, and having nesting places in its branches for the birds of the air—
    Da 4:22 you, O king, are that tree! You have become great and strong; your greatness has grown until it reaches the sky, and your dominion extends to distant parts of the earth.
    Da 4:23 “You, O king, saw a messenger, a holy one, coming down from heaven and saying, ‘Cut down the tree and destroy it, but leave the stump, bound with iron and bronze, in the grass of the field, while its roots remain in the ground. Let him be drenched with the dew of heaven; let him live like the wild animals, until seven times pass by for him.’
    Da 4:24 “This is the interpretation, O king, and this is the decree the Most High has issued against my lord the king:
    Da 4:25 You will be driven away from people and will live with the wild animals; you will eat grass like cattle and be drenched with the dew of heaven. Seven times will pass by for you until you acknowledge that the Most High is sovereign over the kingdoms of men and gives them to anyone he wishes.
    Da 4:26 The command to leave the stump of the tree with its roots means that your kingdom will be restored to you when you acknowledge that Heaven rules.

    Ge 3:14 So the LORD God said to the serpent, “Because you have done this,
    “Cursed are you above all the livestock
    and all the wild animals!
    You will crawl on your belly
    and you will eat dust
    all the days of your life.

    Eze 28:11 The word of the LORD came to me:
    Eze 28:12 “Son of man, take up a lament concerning the king of Tyre and say to him: ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says:
    “ ‘You were the model of perfection,
    full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.
    Eze 28:13 You were in Eden,
    the garden of God;
    every precious stone adorned you:
    ruby, topaz and emerald,
    chrysolite, onyx and jasper,
    sapphire, turquoise and beryl.
    Your settings and mountings were made of gold;
    on the day you were created they were prepared.
    Eze 28:14 You were anointed as a guardian cherub,
    for so I ordained you.
    You were on the holy mount of God;
    you walked among the fiery stones.
    Eze 28:15 You were blameless in your ways
    from the day you were created
    till wickedness was found in you.
    Eze 28:16 Through your widespread trade
    you were filled with violence,
    and you sinned.
    So I drove you in disgrace from the mount of God,
    and I expelled you, O guardian cherub,

    I think those verses have something in common but it is not ONLY RELIGION

    Hi Pierre

    I have always understood that the elements involved into all the things that are as the are is ;

    God created all things and they where all good ,

    ONE ANGEL (SPIRIT BEING) REBEL AGAINST GOD AND CHALLENGE HIM ,THAT HE CAN TAKE FROM HIM ALL MEN ,THIS IS CLEARLY SEEN IN JOB;

    Job 1:9 “Does Job fear God for nothing?” Satan replied.
    Job 1:10 “Have you not put a hedge around him and his household and everything he has? You have blessed the work of his hands, so that his flocks and herds are spread throughout the land.

    THEN THIS ; Job 1:11 But stretch out your hand and strike everything he has, and he will surely curse you to your face.”

    THEN AGAIN ;Job 2:3 Then the LORD said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil. And he still maintains his integrity, though you incited me against him to ruin him without any reason.”

    AND SATAN;Job 2:4 “Skin for skin!” Satan replied. “A man will give all he has for his own life.
    Job 2:5 But stretch out your hand and strike his flesh and bones, and he will surely curse you to your face.”

    THEN AGAIN UNDERSTAND THAT JOB WAS STILL SICK PHYSICALLY ;Job 2:11 When Job’s three friends, Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite, heard about all the troubles that had come upon him, they set out from their homes and met together by agreement to go and sympathize with him and comfort him.
    Job 2:12 When they saw him from a distance, they could hardly recognize him; they began to weep aloud, and they tore their robes and sprinkled dust on their heads.
    Job 2:13 Then they sat on the ground with him for seven days and seven nights. No one said a word to him, because they saw how great his suffering was.

    NOT ONLY JOB AS TO FEEL HIS WOUNDS BUT NOW HE WAS SPIRITUALLY CONFRONTED WITH HIS OWN 3 FRIENDS THAT CAME TO SHOW HIM HIS GUILD ACCORDING TO THEIR OWN OPINIONS OF THE TIME,

    i AGREE IT IS NOT EASY TO STAY RIGHTEOUS NEVER MIND BECOMING ONE ,

    MAY THE GOD OF TRUTH BLESS YOUR PILGRIMAGE TO HIM

    Thank you Pierre

    I love the story of Job.
    This is what I see in that whole story;
    Satan accuses that Job only loves God because he has received blessings (material things)
    So Satan is implying that true love does not exist.
    God shows him otherwise.

    I can also see that when bad things happen to us, God is in full control.  God allows it, and shows us that there is spiritual warfare going on behind the scenes that we are not aware of.
    Job was not attacked because he was unrighteous, but the opposite, and God allowed it, not to destroy Job, but to bless him in the end.

    As for the three men that gave Job counsel, God was not happy with them.  They did not speak according to wisdom.

    Job 42:7   And it was so, that after the LORD had spoken these words unto Job, the LORD said to Eliphaz the Termite, My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends: for ye have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job has done.

    Job 42:8  Therefore take unto you now seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering: and my servant job shall pray for you: for him will I accept, lest I deal with you after your folly, in that ye have not spoken of me the thing which is right, like my servant job.

    I can also see that Job existed before Abraham, because Abraham later became greater than Job in God's eyes and plans.

    So all that is what I can see.  Is there something I have missed?  Or do you sense that I have been going through a hard time lately?

    the righteous is always great within his own live,or pilgrimage ,God is progressive in his will and fulfillment of it ,
