    Hi Jammin, Question #2:

First you claim my question is not specific enough,                  (First post on page)
and now you're claiming you answered;                                 (last post you made)
    but NEITHER are really true!

    (Jammin) GOD: means supreme being
(Ed J,) GOD: the creator of the universe.
For reference, Here is the definitions of “GOD”.

You answered a different question, one that I didn't ask?
I didn't ask…   'do you believed the son is GOD by nature.'

    What I instead asked is:
are you suggesting that Mary is(?) the mother of God?

    God bless

    Jammin?

    the father is God
    the son is God

john 20.28 – thomas said to jesus , my Lord and my God!

are you referring to the father or son?

    Hi Jammin,

    By your response, your answer is both yes and no;
why will you not accept the reality of what you believe?
Is it because the sound of truth troubles you; Yes? Jammin?

what answer do you want? a yes or no only?

    1.no.
2.the bible says mother of the “LORD. “

    that is my answer.

    Hi Jammin:

Is Mary the mother of “God the Son”?

the son is GOD.. yes! mary is the mother of the LORD> Christ is Lord and God!

thomas said that in john 20.28
    my Lord and my God

    Hi Jammin,

Remember at the mount of transfiguration Jesus
was assured of his resurrection by Moses and Elijah.
Thomas said: unless I see and touch I will not believe.

    Afterward Thomas believed: and said
unto him, My Lord and my God.  (John 20:28)
To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself” (2 Cor 5:19)
2 Cor 5:19 spells out clearly why Thomas said what he said; there is no hidden messages in his words, Jammin.

Jesus said to Philip: (John 14:11) Believe me that I in the Father,
and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works sake.

Thomas believed for the very works sake!

    God bless

There are a few scriptures in the OT that speak of Jehovah “coming soon”, jammin.

Also, look at verse 18: Do you think God Almighty said, “I was dead”?

Also, you didn't address my last post, in which I asked if you could see the words “AND from Jesus Christ”.

Well………………can you see those words in 1:4-5?

I agree with you on that one, jammin. There is no scriptural evidence whatsoever that would imply Thomas was somehow seeing God Almighty within Jesus – especially since no man can see God and live. In fact, John, the one who recorded that particular event in his gospel, says in his very first chapter, “No one has ever seen God”. That would have been a lie if Thomas HAD seen God.

These guys (and you too) can't grasp the scriptural fact that more than Jehovah God Most High was called “god” in the scriptures.

Thomas called Jesus “god” because in Biblical terminology, Jesus IS a god. But Thomas didn't see God Almighty inside of Jesus, nor did Thomas confuse Jesus with Jesus' own God – the God who sent him into the world.

    jammin,

Why are you not directly addressing my points?   ???

We can easily get to the bottom of this Revelation thing if you were to answer Ed's question about who was seated on the throne.  (Hint: The One on the throne is called “the Lord God” many times in Revelation.  1:8 is one of those times.  Jesus is the Lamb who approaches the throne to take a scroll from the hand of “the Lord God” who sits on the throne. The “Lord God” is the One Jesus calls “my God” 4 different times in 3:12.)

And I would be happy to study the God of the OT with you.  Where would you like us to start?

Finally, Christ is not Jehovah, but the anointed one OF Jehovah.  (That is what “Christ” means, after all.)

    John 1:18

    New International Version (NIV)

18 No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and[a] is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.

i know that you believe that verse.

now, do you believe that the God of the OT has seen by men? yes or no?

I don't know what to tell you, jammin.

Jesus is definitely called a god in scripture. And he is definitely not the God who he calls my God and your God.

He is never said to be God Most High, but the Son of God Most High.

I don't understand how so many people here – people who claim they're only after scriptural truth – have a problem with Jesus being a lesser god than his own God. ??? After all, that is exactly what is taught in the scriptures these people claim to uphold.

Moses was allowed to see His back as His glory passed by.  But God told Moses that no man could see His face and live.
