Just deal with Micah 5:4 for now, jammin.  Tell me why someone who is all powerful would:
    A.  Have a God of his own
    B.  Have to rule in the strength of his God instead of in his own strength.

i have already answered your question

God said to his son – your throne O God

also, micah 5.4 did not say that christ is not all powerful.
In the strength of the Lord – He, who feedeth them with divine tenderness, shall also have divine might, His Father's and His own, to protect them; as He saith, “My sheep hear My Voice, and I know them and they follow Me, neither shall any man pluck them out of My Hand. My Father Which gave them Me is greater than all, and no man is able to pluck them out of My Father's Hand. I and My Father are One” John 10:27-30. With authority, it is said, “He commandeth even the unclean spirits and they come out” Luke 4:36. His feeding or teaching also was “with authority, and not as the scribes” Matthew 7:29

    you are not all powerful………..

    Nor is Jesus:

4 He will stand and shepherd his flock
in the strength of………….the LORD his God.

If Jesus was all-powerful, he would not be ruling in the strength of his God, but in his OWN strength.

Nor does God Most High have a God of his own.

jammin, your unscriptural doctrine seems to be based in nonsense.

    let the bible speak
    Revelation 1:8

8 The Lord God says, `I am the First and the Last. I am the beginning and the ending. I live now. I always have lived, and I will come again. I have all power.'

    Hebrews 1:8

8 But here is what God says about his Son: `O God, you will sit and rule for ever. You will rule in the right way.

micah 5.4 did not say that Christ is not all powerful. that is just your imagination LOL

    Don't be a grasshopper, jammin.

The verse is Micah 5:4.  And the verse says that Jesus will rule in the strength of Jehovah, HIS GOD.

Would someone who is all powerful have the need to rule in the strength of HIS OWN GOD?

(Rev 1:8 is about Jehovah, and Heb 1:8 – even translated the way you posted it – only teaches that Jesus is called a god.  But Jesus' own God already foretold that would happen in Is 9:6 anyway, right?)

Just deal with Micah 5:4 for now, jammin.  Tell me why someone who is all powerful would:
    A.  Have a God of his own
    B.  Have to rule in the strength of his God instead of in his own strength.

    Hi Jammin,

Your use of foreign terminology is unclear?
What does  'GOD by nature'  even mean?

You have said the “Son of GOD” is GOD?

    Quote (jammin @ May 12 2012,01:46)
GOD is the son of GOD.

And we know through biblical record that Mary is Jesus' mother.

    1. Are you suggesting that Mary is “Mother Nature”? Or
    2. Are you suggesting that Mary is the “Mother of GOD”?

    Choose 1 or 2

    Yeah Ed.

I saw where he was asking, “God the Son, or God the Father?”.  But if there is truly only ONE God Almighty, then Mary couldn't be the mother of one and not the other, right?

I think that saying Jesus will rule in the strength of his own God is pretty much admitting that Jesus himself is not all powerful.

And Rev 1:8 is about Jehovah, not Jesus. If you answer Ed's latest question, you'll soon find that out.

First you claim my question is not specific enough,                  (First post on page)
and now you're claiming you answered;                                 (last post you made)
    but NEITHER are really true!

    (Jammin) GOD: means supreme being
(Ed J,) GOD: the creator of the universe.
For reference, Here is the definitions of “GOD”.

You answered a different question, one that I didn't ask?
I didn't ask…   'do you believed the son is GOD by nature.'

    What I instead asked is:
are you suggesting that Mary is(?) the mother of God?

    jammin,

Compare the words in 1:8 with the words in 1:4-5……….
Grace and peace to you from him who is, and who was, and who is to come, and from the seven spirits before his throne, 5 and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness……..

It seems that He who “is, was, and is to come” in this passage refers to someone other than Jesus Christ. (Do you see the words “AND from Jesus Christ”? )
