Jesus,Said if you are born of the spirit ;you are spirit.
I know that non of us in the flesh are spirit.
We are still flesh but not all walk in the spirit of Christ.
We will be spirit after the resurrection.
Many of the flesh will fall away.
Once spirit we can not fall away.wakeup.
Hi Wakeup. In answer to your post, I take “flesh” to mean the things of the flesh – lusts of the world, the desire of wealth, self pleasures, entertainment, etc.
I am reading ‘St John of the Cross – Dark Night of the Soul” atm, and it gives an amazing insight into this.

Yes; the spirit of the flesh are many.
People have lust for many things that the world can offer.
Some for riches; some for fame; some for material things, but we in Zion should lust for things of God.
Because we are not of the world anymore; We have come to the city of God which is Zion.
And we will come to the physical city of God to come, which is Holy Jerusalem, the kingdom of God on earth.
We shall rule with Christ for 1000 years, to teach the remnant of the jews to walk in Christ.
This kingdom is to come after the resurrection. After we are born again in spirit form.
We will rule without satan around, until he is let loose, then destroyed, and all his angels with him.
Then the second resurrection; then the renewing of the earth; then God will be with us on earth.

Yes those who are reborn and in whom Christ lives will rule.
Many assume they are included but creation awaits the revelation of the sons of God.
