Hi Mike,
Was Jesus of Nazareth a man, conceived in and born of Mary?
May 29, 2018 at 10:09 am#829689mikeboll64BlockedD4T: Have a look then…
Dang, lol! You’d think for 52 million per day they’d be able to produce some better CGI. 🙂
I wasn’t aware that clouds morphed every time lightning struck. 🙂
May 29, 2018 at 10:14 am#829690mikeboll64BlockedNick: To those on earth that is how it will appear when the earth goes through a polar shift.
What do you know about polar shifts, Nick? Has it ever happened? Can it happen at all? What is the evidence… as opposed to the interpretations of the data? Polar shifts are just more scientism nonsense that people like you know nothing about, but believe anyway based on nothing more than blind faith in the godless men telling the story.
Do some research. Learn to think for yourself.
May 29, 2018 at 10:19 am#829691mikeboll64BlockedNick: …the stars of the sky fell to the earth, as a fig tree casts it’s unripe figs when shaken by a great wind…
Do you see the comparison? Do unripe figs fall to the ground when shaken by a great wind? Surely you don’t consider figs falling off a tree metaphorical, right? And if figs really do fall from trees to the ground, then when he compares this real life occurrence to the way the stars will fall to the earth, why do you think the latter is metaphorical? Is there any scriptural reason to think stars falling from the sky to the earth is metaphorical?
May 29, 2018 at 10:25 am#829692mikeboll64BlockedT8: So what perspective will God speak to us with most of the time? The perspective angels get, the perspective of a tree, God’s complete view, or our perspective? I say our perspective because he is relating to us.
So when God says the earth has foundations and pillars, whose perspective is he using? Surely none of us have seen the earth’s pillars, right?
May 29, 2018 at 10:25 am#829693Dig4truthParticipantT8: “Does Yeshua have a double edged sword coming out of his mouth? If not, then is the Bible incorrect? Atheism or the Bible? See that. This is basically the argument you make here.”
Heb 4:12 For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
Eph 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
Rev 1:15-17 His feet were like burnished bronze, when it has been made to glow in a furnace, and His voice was like the sound of many waters. 16 In His right hand He held seven stars, and out of His mouth came a sharp two-edged sword; and His face was like the sun shining in its strength.
Why not let Scripture define Scripture and not try to conceal it?
What comes out of Yeshua’s mouth? The answer is the Word of God.
Isn’t it obvious that in Revelation the language used is symbolic? But Scripture always defines the symbolism, as in the above scriptures.
Is it your contention that Yeshua has a sword coming out of His mouth? Is that how you really understand the scriptures? Or are you just making a point? ; )
It is my contention that the language used is the biblical texts that I reference to support the astrological motions are not meant as symbolism but reality. Unless you can show where the symbolism has been defined. Can you do that?
May 29, 2018 at 10:28 am#829694mikeboll64BlockedNick: Hi Mike,
Was Jesus of Nazareth a man, conceived in and born of Mary?
Yes. Is that teaching almost always qualified in scripture with the phrase, “according to the flesh”?
(Let’s see if you can answer a straightforward question with a straightforward answer like I do…)
May 29, 2018 at 10:33 am#829695mikeboll64BlockedOkay Kathi, here are the results of my experiments today. Experiment #1…
This angle is comparable to the view of Apollo 17 actor holding the flag. Notice, no sun.
This is as high as I could aim and still have the building show. No sun.
This is what I had to do to have both the building and the sun in the image.
May 29, 2018 at 10:39 am#829699mikeboll64BlockedExperiment #2…
The metal structure is my huge mountain in the background, and I am standing in the huge moon crater…
The stalk on the plant is the astronaut standing by the flag with the mountain filling the entire background. No sun…
I had to shoot straight up the mountain to have them both in the frame…
May 29, 2018 at 10:45 am#829703mikeboll64BlockedExperiment #3…
I’m fixin’ to land my Prius spacecraft in that crater up yonder…
You can see that I’ve successfully touched down in the heart of the crater, and am surrounded by huge space mountains…
The sign is the flag. I have placed the camera on the ground, aiming almost 90 degrees straight up…
Are you ready to acknowledge the problem with the placement of the earth in that wet flag image?
May 29, 2018 at 10:49 am#829707NickHassanParticipantHi Mike,
So you agree with scripture that he began his life in Mary.
Body, soul and spirit like you and I.
PS 139.13f
For you formed my inward parts; you wove me in my mothers womb.
I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
wonderful are Your works, and my soul knows it very well.
My frame was not hidden from you, when I was made in secret,
And skilfully wrought in the depths of the earth;
my eyes have seen my unformed substance
and in your book were all written
the days that were ordained for me
when, as yet there was not one of them.
Lovely words about the creation of a man like Jesus.
May 29, 2018 at 11:00 am#829708mikeboll64BlockedNick: Hi Mike,
So you agree with scripture that he began his life in Mary.
With the scriptural qualifier, “according to the flesh”, yes. He began his fleshly existence in the womb of Mary. (Interesting how I’m once again answering another one of your questions, as opposed to you answering mine, huh?)
Nick, do you agree with scripture that some will be born again of water and spirit? Assuming you do, will this rebirth be how these people began their existence? Or did they exist prior to the rebirth? Which one, please?
May 29, 2018 at 11:03 am#829709NickHassanParticipantHi Mike,
Yes.
Every man is born.
Some are reborn of water and the Spirit, like Jesus of Nazareth.
Life begins at conception.
Eternal life is of the Spirit of life.
The possibility of eternal life begins at rebirth.
They are given the power to become children of God.
Do you agree?
May 29, 2018 at 11:07 am#829710mikeboll64BlockedNick: Some are reborn of water and the Spirit…
And is the rebirth the beginning of that person’s existence? Yes or no, please?
May 29, 2018 at 11:09 am#829711NickHassanParticipantHi Mike,
Of course not as explained.
May 29, 2018 at 11:14 am#829712mikeboll64BlockedSo then it’s possible for someone to be born after he’s already existed in a different state?
May 29, 2018 at 11:17 am#829713NickHassanParticipantHi Mike,
No.
Not if life began at conception from the contribution of two parents..
May 29, 2018 at 11:28 am#829714NickHassanParticipantHi Mike,
Humans have two parents.
Do you agree?
May 29, 2018 at 12:00 pm#829716NickHassanParticipantHi Mike,
So if you suggest that a being was of one parent only that being is not a man.
And the woman he was born from is not his mother.
And that being was unlike to us.
Do you agree?
May 29, 2018 at 12:10 pm#829717Dig4truthParticipantNick: “So you agree with scripture that he began his life in Mary. Body, soul and spirit like you and I.
Absolutly Not!!! Did God Almighty conceive you in your mothers womb? Absolutely not! He was not conceived by any earthly father.
This is doctrine 101. If Yeshua was just another man like you or I, He would be born with a sinfull nature. He was not. Just as the first Adam was unique so was the Last Adam. Both were created in God’s image and not as it says of Seth, “according to his (Adam’s) image”. So Adam was created in God’s image and because of the fall everyone else was created in Adam’s image.
Nick, are you this confused on the basics?
Gen 5:3 When Adam had lived one hundred and thirty years, he became the father of a son in his own likeness, according to his image, and named him Seth.
Kinda like that’s making a point, don’t you think?
