    Hi KW,

What you see as implications is only because you see everything in relationship to sin and you do not know righteousness.

    Hi KW:

    You say:

    942767,

Romans 4 introduces the question of whether Jesus died in vain for imputed righteousness was already available to Abraham and others before Jesus chose to sacrifice himself on the cross.

No, all who have obeyed God from the beginning were righteous by Faith in God’s Word, but all of humanity has sinned, and Jesus is the propitiation for the sins of all who have obeyed having believed God.  Without him having obeyed God without sin unto death there would be no resurrection from the dead.

    Ephesians 1

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

    7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

    8 Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;

9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:

10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:

    Love in Christ,

    Hi KW,

Under the law mortal men made sacrifices for sins.

But the immortal and eternal Son of God is now the high priest in the heavens.

He lives forever and his own sacrifice abides forever to offer the forgiveness of God to repentant men.

The time for the old sacrifices has passed.

    T,

Those that follow the true gospel worship God by living by the Spirit and by truth and so bear the fruits of the Spirit and not of the flesh.

Those that walk by the flesh will not inherit the kingdom of God.

and the first thing they stop doing is lying and preach what they do not understand and also stick truthfully to the written word of God and not additions of man

Man changes the word of God because it reminds them of their coming destruction.

    Nick,

What I am seeing as you implying God is because you claim God’s righteousness is not sinless.

If you repent then you will admit Jesus essentially said seek first God’s sinlessness and kingdom and all else will be given to you. You also admit that Paul instructed the Ephesians to put off their old self that served sin and put on their new self that is sinless and holy like God.

Are you going God is imputed with Christ’ righteousness?

    Nick,

Are you claiming that Jesus Christ sacrificed himself to save animals from the death of their body?

    Hi kW,

You seem to be diverting from reality in defence of your false premises.

    Animals??

    Nick,

In your post that begins “Under the law mortal men made sacrifices for sins” you are essentially claiming that Jesus Christ chose to sacrifice himself to save animals from the first death. You also make to replace the high priests that have not been resurrected.

Perhaps you should clarify your point.

    Terraricca,

Man changes the word of God because it reminds them of their coming destruction.

this is not what jesus said ; Jn 3:19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.

so i is a matter of loving righteousness or wickedness ,we cannot love both

What do you believe is the real difference between what I wrote and what your did?

    Kw

Jesus uses the word love for love involves the heart and soul and

When they do thing that they love this mean that their heart and soul is in it, this is why I think Jesus  uses the word love ,many do things but not with love some time  by obligations, or forced into do it ,so yes I think there is a difference,

    Terrarica,

Scripture states God has the attribute of Love and that Love is the sum of the Law. Since Love is the sum of the Law then acts of Love are the fruit of the Spirit. In Galatians 5 Paul mentions love as being one of the fruits of the Spirit.

I do not believe love, duty, fear, etc. are separate for those that walk by the Spirit. Instead they all combine as a whole.

    Hi KW,

Your turning to Judaism shows your lack of faith in putting on the righteousness of Christ.

You still think you must save yourself it seems .

    Terrarica,

Matthew 7:12 and Romans 13:9 both make the point that the Law is summed up in the command to love.

    Nick,

Are you afraid of the passage I quoted from Scripture?

If not then why do you not address it.

Mt 7:12 So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.

Ro 13:9 The commandments, “Do not commit adultery,” “Do not murder,” “Do not steal,” “Do not covet,” and whatever other commandment there may be, are summed up in this one rule: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”

JN 12:50 “I know that His commandment is eternal life; therefore the things I speak, I speak just as the Father has told Me.”

JN 13:34 “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
JN 15:12 “This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you.

Mt 22:37 Jesus replied: “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’
Mt 22:38 This is the first and greatest commandment.
Mt 22:39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
Mt 22:40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

do you see the difference between what you said and what I respond to you ?

    Terrarica,

Galatians 5:19-26Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. 24 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

I do not see your point since those that love walk according to the Spirit and not according to the flesh. The works of flesh are evil and those that love them will not come into the light.
