Quote (Nick Hassan @ Feb. 25 2009,09:40) Hi tt,
So were all the nations raised and gathered before the Son of God?
When was this?
Nick,
This thread is not about Preterism and I should not have posted commentary that led to a discussion on Preterism. I believe that the judgment of the nations of Israel in Matt 25 was fulfilled and that the language in Mathhew is picturesque.I will say no more about Preterism on this thread.

Are there any other parts of scripture you feel you have a right to call PICTURESQUE?
Where does this right come from?February 25, 2009 at 12:28 am#122944KangarooJackParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ Feb. 25 2009,10:52) Hi TT,

Well Nick,All I can tell you is that Jesus exists now in such a glorious way that if men literally stood before Him to be judged they would be burned up instantly. When He appeared to Paul on the road to damascus Paul was blinded.
Jesus said,
Quote NOW is the judgment of this world (John 12:31) Jesus said that the judgment of the world (the nations of Israel) is NOW. Oh I forgot, you believe that one day is a thousand years. So when Jesus said “now” He really meant “not now”.
What gives you the right to say that “now” doesn't mean “now”?

Just thought that the whole scripture should be posted rather than just part of it:
Quote Jhn 12:31 Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out. February 25, 2009 at 1:57 am#122961NickHassanParticipantHi tt,
Has he come back?
You have a fine imagination but letting scripture speak without your constrictions would be wiserFebruary 25, 2009 at 9:40 am#122980KangarooJackParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ Feb. 25 2009,12:57) Hi tt,
