Psalm 40:14-15 Let them be ashamed and confounded together that seek after my
soul to destroy it; let them be driven backward and put to shame that wish me evil.
Let them be desolate for a reward of their shame that say unto me, Aha, aha.

Ps.35:25 Let them not say in their hearts, Ah, so would we have it:
let them not say, We have swallowed him up. Let them be ashamed
and brought to confusion together that rejoice at mine hurt: let them
be clothed with shame and dishonor that magnify themselves against me.

Ed, accusing someone of misquoting is not worth all of the fuss that you have made of it Ed.
Something so small and easily solved with a simple apology, it's all that you had to do. Your making a fool out of yourself and your “worldwide audience” Ed.
Hi Shimmer,Yes you're right of course, but you're talking to the wrong person.
I never accused anyone of misquoting, that would be Lightenup!December 30, 2010 at 5:32 am#236979kerwinParticipantKathy and Ed,
We are instructed to remain at peace with others to the extent we can. We should also realize that few if any of us have yet shed all their chains to sin. In the advent your sibling sins against you you should not attribut it to a deliberate action unles you have firm evidence to prove it is. In your posts it sounds like you accuse time of deliberately sinning against you and not sinning in ignorance or compulsion.
When misquoted simply act to correct the misquote and explain that they incorrect in what you believe. Challenge those who read it to read your origional post. Then go on.
In short be guided by love for others and don't become a bitter root among your siblings in Christ.
Watch yourself so you will not fall to sin.
Repent if you do.
Forgive those who sin against you.

Ed, you have no right to speak about people when they are not there to defend themself. If you say something about someone in a thread where they are not reading or posting, then this is against the forum rules. And you should be warned or tiled for that. I think everyone here should watch for that and if they see it, then tell the person that Ed has done this.
Hi Shimmer,What happened? You use to be so nice, but
now you have joined in on the 'witch hunt too'?
What has caused such bitterness toward me lately?
Certainly not your disagreeing with my views, because
you have disagreed with my views from the very beginning?December 30, 2010 at 7:02 am#236981Ed JParticipantHi Shimmer,
Is it because of Jay getting kicked out?
I'm sorry, but I had nothing to do with it.God bless

James 4:5-8 Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?
But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God,
and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded..

There are people on this site that ask good questions and usually receive good answers. Those Q&A's that are ask peacefully are responded to peacefully. Those that are ask or responded to with anger or an I know it all attitude are felt by the recipient. At least I know I feel them.
Sow almost any question with love and kindness and you should receive a response equal in love and kindness. Whipping people with scriptures and calling them ungodly or unrighteous or ignorant or stating they should read the Bible more or any annoying quip like that only genders more of the same.
Certain people on this site can say almost anything because they tag it with, IMO, or This is the way I see it now, or I hope I am not wrong, etc. Yet the above scriptural response by Ed J lights a defensive fire in me that I would rather take out physically than spiritually. TK

Thanks Kerwin,
I am trying to clear up any possible misunderstandings by making this topic and get peace and stop the slandering stemming from his 'confusion.' If you want to help, then you can help make Ed aware that the misquote of his that started this was indeed misrepresenting my 'list,' whether intentional or accidental, and explain to him that he never acknowledged that but he did quite the opposite, and then for the past 5 months afterwards has accused me of lying because I said he misrepresented that list. From his response, it seems that he believes that he has that right to do what he did because of his freedom of speech. That would be helpful if you took the time to show him this because he doesn't believe that he misrepresented the list or that it was wrong to misrepresent the list-remove options and numbers. Without acknowledging that the confusion turned into accusing me of being a liar several times to others and of even claiming that my desire that he acknowledge it, was 'lucifer demands.'
As I have said, I have forgiven him. He needs to be held accountable for accusing me, to others, of lying about him doing wrong in misrepresenting my list.
I know it could have been a simple and short act of me confronting him and him acknowledging it but he never acknowledged any wrong doing whether accidental or on purpose and that led to me asking t8 to help explain it to him which he hasn't respected but for the last 5 months he is slandering me to others by accusing me of lying which is not good for anyone.
Thanks, Kathi

Hi Shimmer,Confrontation is the key to conflict.
Yes, I seek peace with everyone! (Is 27:4-5)
I don't 'accuse', nor call others 'liars', nor 'slander' anyone!
People 'may' do these based on psychological problems from childhood trauma.Shalom

The Seven-fold “Son of God”, Jesus The Christ…1) His Pre-existence. (Job 38:7)
2) His Conception. (Luke 1:35)
3) His Birth (Mathew 1:18, 20)
4) His Baptism (John 1:33-34)
5) His Ministry (Mathew 14:33)
6) His Crucifixion (Mark 15:39)
7) His Resurrection (Rom.1:4)December 31, 2010 at 6:24 am#236994Ed JParticipant.
