As of March 2009, worldwide, 428 eco-villages are registered with the Global Ecovillage Network http://gen.ecovillage.org/index.html.
Europe has the most registered ecovillages, namely (150), followed by North America (130), Latin America (67), Asia/Oceania (58) and Africa/Middle East (24).
This data does not include any ecovillages of the Anastasia type (ecovillages of Kin’s Domains) that have been created and have been growing very fast in Russia and other countries during the last ten years.
According to the http://www.anastasia.ru website there are about 140 ecovillages of Kin’s Domains in Russia alone. Ukraine and Belorussia together have another 60 ecovillages of this type.
This new type of ecovillage – an ecovillage of Kin’s Domains – signifies a new era in the global ecovillage movement.More inspiring news about ecovillage movement may be found in Issue #3 of Space of Love Magazine –

April 17, 2009 at 12:45 pm#171666VestnikRAParticipantOf course it will come on Earth!
Not the Kingdom but the KINDOM of God and we are here to make it happen!April 17, 2009 at 12:50 pm#171667ProclaimerParticipantHi VestnikRA.
Who is Jesus (Yeshua) to you?
This truth is foundational for his Church.
April 17, 2009 at 1:50 pm#171668VestnikRAParticipantI don't belong to any church.
And Jesus is my big brother.April 17, 2009 at 9:04 pm#171669ProclaimerParticipantHi VestnikRA.
Thanks for your reply.
Do you know the difference between the Church and a denomination?
April 18, 2009 at 4:41 am#171670VestnikRAParticipantI understand what you mean.
In this sence, I could say that I am not a Christian as well as I am not a Muslim or a Buddhist or any other…
If you are interested in my relations with God, I could say that I am His son.April 18, 2009 at 7:16 am#171671StuParticipantQuote (VestnikRA @ April 18 2009,01:50) I don't belong to any church.

April 18, 2009 at 7:45 am#171672VestnikRAParticipantStu, I am talking about spiritual relationship, and you know that.

I am not sure how to interpret the claims of someone who posts links to pages about biodynamic farming. Have you been abducted by aliens as well?Stuart
April 18, 2009 at 8:22 am#171674VestnikRAParticipantWell, I believe one day there will be only eco-villages and permaculture farming all around, I hope you will see it as well.

I am sure the only way to really minimise human impact on the environment is to restrict ourselves to a subsistence lifestyle based on a local economy, but good luck talking the West out of its HD plasma screens and ipods.Stuart

Of course, not right now, not even in a hundred years, but slowly, step by step, Stuart, with raising of conscious, it will be done.April 18, 2009 at 9:11 am#171677StuParticipantQuote (VestnikRA @ April 18 2009,20:32) Quote (Stu @ April 18 2009,20:26) Quote (VestnikRA @ April 18 2009,20:22) Well, I believe one day there will be only eco-villages and permaculture farming all around, I hope you will see it as well.

The future direction of humans providing for themselves will have nothing to do with consciousness. It will be about economics and exploitation of resources, it always is.Stuart

It's not really a belief, nor a desire. Humans have been so successful because they are adapted to exploit resources by cunning. We have lots of uranium. That will be next.Stuart

The LCDs have false colours to my eye. The future is megawatts of nuclear power to spark up kilowatt plasma screens. That is my prophecy, and to fulfil it I will buy one. A plasma screen, not a nuclear power station…Stuart
April 21, 2009 at 10:14 am#171682charityParticipantI have a plasma and a LCD tv, I keep telling my son when I enter his room it feels like you've died and gone to heaven, or heavens on earth.
the plasma's been wonderful make sure you buy the extra warranty on the LCD Stu.
whats LED KJ?
April 21, 2009 at 10:34 am#171683charityParticipantthey don't make things like they use to?
when I cleaned my new oven the other day, I couldn't put the the metal rakes back into place inside the oven, I must have bent them while scrubbing clean, I needed my son to force them back into place.
I better remember… not to to allow to much wait resting on them or Ill never get them out again. ROLL EYESTbone…somethings get better, but tax makes things worsen.
