Quote (942767 @ Nov. 23 2010,13:59) Quote (Ed J @ Nov. 23 2010,13:23) Hi Shimmer, It's not so much a matter of what doctrines we believe,
because that changes over time and is not as important
as when we still show LOVE even when we disagree; this
shows the world who the true disciples of Christ really are! (1Cor.13:1-13)John 13:34-35 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another;
as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men
know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.God bless

Hi ED:It is good that we can discuss our differences and love one another, but when we can't agree, we need to go to God in prayer asking Him to bring us into unity by revealing the truth to us. We need to be ready to accept correction from God to make this happen.
“A house divided against itself will not stand”. Jesus prayed that we would be “One” as he and the Father were “One”.
He said sanctify them through the truth, Your Word is Truth, one cannot be sanctified through a lie.
Love in Christ,
Marty
Hi Marty,All we can do is portray the truth the we see it,
it's God's Job to correct the one in error!
So often we find people trying to convince others
the way they see things is the correct way.I only persist until they “Fully” understand.
I don't argue with people over doctrine!God bless
