But the Logos was not an angel. He preexisted them and created them so was superior to them as the Son of God.
That is my take too, but it is possible that this Angel works closely with Christ regarding the salvation of men.
Hebrews 1:14
Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation.
