EDYou KNOW that GOD did not say HIS name was “JEHOVAH” the word is not even Hebrew so why just MAKE IT UP, the fact is the right thing to say is I DO NOT KNOW what the actual word sounds like or is spelled like but I am comfortable with what I guessed it to be and may God forgive me if I am wrong, that is the correct answer.

How would you know what Vowel sounds were pronounced?January 13, 2012 at 3:54 am#272087Ed JParticipantHi BD,
“God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.” (1Cor.2:10-11)B'shem

Since you are not sure of the right pronunciation perhaps you should keep the name Hallowed like Jesus and not speak it unless you are more fit than the Messiah to use it. Can you show me in the scriptures where Jesus uses the name?January 13, 2012 at 6:18 am#272111Ed JParticipantHi BD,

That's referring to his character, not his name.
It should be pretty obvious to you what God's name is.
God's name is written 6823 times in the Hebrew old testament.
But you will do anything to protect the 'book of fraud', even lie; right?B'shem

Where does it say that is His Character? It says clearly that is His name but if you say it is His Character I have no problem with it, you just have a problem when I say He is called ALLAH because his character is that of the ONE and ONLY GOD and so His title is uniqueJanuary 16, 2012 at 3:24 am#272606Ed JParticipantQuote (bodhitharta @ Jan. 16 2012,12:23) Quote (Ed J @ Jan. 14 2012,16:08) Hi BD, That's referring to his character, not his name.
