I don’t understand your so-called correction.
However, more than the Islamic world, you should be more concerned with the correct interpretation of Revelation 13.It is not the Islamic world that will impose the mark of the beast because it is increasingly submitting to the Pope.

Do you really think Islam is submitting to the Pope!??!!? A religion filled with violence. A religion that is allowed to lie and deceive those around them to get their way. A religion that IS NOT compatible with Western thought and ideology. A religion that would kill because one insulted it. No, Islam isn’t bowing to the Catholic religion; if anything, it’s using it to further their agenda.
Time to read actual news instead of opinions of one’s faith and calling it news.

DesireTruthParticipantOne would have to believe what the NT says, I no longer do and completely reject it. Why you ask? Great question and glad you did, as I’ve explained the Jesus couldn’t possibly be the Messiah because he never fulfilled what was written the Messiah was to do. So everything after the first verse of the first chapter of the NT canNOT be truth.
How do one know this, because the book begins with “The book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.” The phrase the “son of David” gives it away as being false; the Jesus was not in the lineage of David, his father was the spirit of G-d as the writer of Matthew states in verse 18 “she (Mary) was found to be pregnant by the Holy Spirit.”
Can you explain the discrepancy between I Sam 7:12-16 where G-d tells David HE will “raise up your offspring after you who will go out from your body, and I will establish his kingdom…forever” and Matt 1:18? G-d tells David that the Messiah will come from his “seed” or descendant of his; since the spirit fathered the Jesus it is impossible for the Jesus to be from the line of David, before you run to the man made justification of adoption, please read my response to Proclaimer here.

Light dawns in the darkness for the upright, for him who is merciful, compassionate, and righteous. (Psalm 112:4)
The action of the Holy Spirit is manifested where there is a heart overflowing with love and sympathy, feeling an irresistible need to sacrifice for others in order to ennoble them. Even in the midst of paganism, men who had no knowledge of God’s law, nor heard the name of Christ, nevertheless showed kindness to His servants, even protecting them at the risk of their lives. Did not their actions reveal that a divine power was working within them? The Holy Spirit planted the seeds of Christ’s grace in the heart of the savage, awakening in him sympathies that were contrary to his nature and upbringing. […]
Christ does everything to attract those who consent to enter into communion with him so that they may be one with him as he himself is one with his Father. He allows us to come into contact with suffering and unhappiness in order to free us from our selfishness; he seeks to develop in us the attributes of his own character: compassion, love, and tenderness. By accepting this ministry of love, we enter his school where we receive training for heaven. […]
By collaborating with the heavenly beings in their work on earth, we prepare ourselves to live with the inhabitants of heaven. The holy angels, the “ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who shall inherit salvation,” will welcome there those who here below have lived “not to be served, but to serve.” It is in this blessed society that we will fully understand the meaning of the question: “Who is my neighbor?” »

Connecting the Seventh Day rest to the Everlasting Gospel
For I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it!
Introduction
Many have wondered, in some cases doubted, how the Seventh Day is connected to the Gospel. In this brief study we provide scriptural evidence that the Seventh Day is intimately connected to the everlasting Gospel. In the Beginning
We start in Genesis which means the origin or beginning. What special work did God do in Genesis?1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. 2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. 3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made. Genesis 2
After creating the heavens and the earth, God ended His work, rested on the Seventh Day and sanctified it. This day marked the completion of God’s work. To sanctify is to set apart. God set apart the Seventh Day from all other days. Now we ask, can this sanctity God bestowed on the Seventh Day be changed?
14 I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him. 15 That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past. Ecclesiastes 3
The sanctity of the Seventh Day is forever, nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it. Why did God rest, and sanctify the Seventh Day? Ecclesiastes 3 gives the answer, “God doeth it, that men should fear before Him”. What does the phrase, “men should fear before Him” mean?
The Fear of God
6 By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil. Proverbs 1626 And he did evil in the sight of the LORD, and walked in the way of his father, and in his sin wherewith he made Israel to sin. 1 Kings 15
To fear God or to fear before Him is to depart from sin.
19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. 2 Timothy 2
Paul reiterates this pertinent point by stating that it is the “foundation and seal” of God. What is this foundation and seal? Those that name Christ, that is, claim to be his followers or disciples, must depart from sin or iniquity. We already established that this is also called to fear God. But what is sin?
4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. 5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. 1 John 3
11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law. 12 So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty. James 2
13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. 14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil. Ecclesiastes 12
Sin is the transgression of the law and we are told that Christ was manifested to take away our sins. He does this work through His death, resurrection and ministration in the heavenly sanctuary. Notice how both Ecclesiastes and James state that God’s law or commandments are what will be used in the judgment. This reinforces the point that those that name Christ, His followers, must depart from sin and keep the law.
Workers of Iniquity
However, there are many who name the name of Christ but do not depart from iniquity. These even prophesy, cast out devils and do many wonderful works. But how will these fair at the judgement?20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. 21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Matthew 7
The workers of iniquity refuse to depart from sin and continue to transgress the law of God. Remember Ecclesiastes and James have already told us God’s commandments and law will be the basis of judgment. Their minds are delusional in thinking they can name Christ yet remain in their sins or transgression of the law. Their fear of God, which is their understanding of the law is taught by the precepts of men.
13 Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men: Isaiah 29
6 He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. 7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. 8 For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do. 9 And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition. Mark 7
“Prove to me from the Bible alone that I am bound to keep Sunday holy. There is no such law in the Bible. It is a law of the Catholic Church alone. The Catholic Church says, by my divine power I abolish the Sabbath day and command you to keep holy the first day of the week. And lo! The entire civilized world bows down in reverent obedience to the command of the Holy Catholic Church” (Thomas Enright, CSSR, President, Redemptorist College [Roman Catholic], Kansas City, MO, Feb. 18, 1884).
“Of course the Catholic Church claims that the change [Saturday Sabbath to Sunday] was her act… And the act is a mark of her ecclesiastical authority in religious things” (H.F. Thomas, Chancellor of Cardinal Gibbons).
The Ending
Lastly, the last book of the Bible confirms that the fear of the Lord, which is to depart from sin or transgressing the law, is the everlasting Gospel.6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, 7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. Revelatiom 14
Note how Revelation 14:7 similar to Genesis 2:1 is connecting the fear of God with “him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea fountains of waters”. God indeed, requireth that which is past. The message in Revelation is pointing us to Genesis where God created the heavens and the earth, sanctified and rested on the Seventh day. This cannot be changed neither anything done to it. God did this that man should fear before Him, that is to obey and depart from sin or iniquity. The Seventh Day is a symbol of setting apart or sanctifying which points to man’s sanctification.
13 Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you. Exodus 31
There can be no sanctification without justification. Thus, the Seventh Day’s connection with the fear of God, and sanctification establishes its essential and intimate connection to the everlasting Gospel.

Pope Leo Tells Protestants that Rome Stands with Them on the Journey to Visible Unity
August 25, 2025 by Andy Roman Leave a CommentOn August 22, 2025, Pope Leo delivered a message to Protestant and Orthodox leaders gathered in Stockholm for the Ecumenical Week marking the centenary of the 1925 Universal Christian Conference on Life and Work. His words carried both historical reflection and a vision for the future, offering a glimpse of the Vatican’s continuing mission to unite Christendom under a common fellowship of faith and unity. This address carries profound prophetic significance, pointing toward the fulfillment of Revelation 13:3, which describes the world wondering after the beast and the healing of its deadly wound.
The Vatican Press Office published the following regarding Pope Leo’s ecumenical address and its prophetic significance:
• “Dear brothers and sisters, I extend heartfelt greetings to all gathered in Stockholm for the 2025 Ecumenical Week marking the centenary of the 1925 Universal Christian Conference on Life and Work.” [1]
• “A similar desire animated the 1925 Conference in Stockholm, convened by the pioneer of the early ecumenical movement, Archbishop Nathan Söderblom, then Lutheran Archbishop of Uppsala. The gathering brought together around 600 Orthodox, Anglican and Protestant leaders.“ [1]
• “While the Catholic Church was not represented at that first gathering, I can affirm, with humility and joy, that we stand with you today as fellow disciples of Christ, recognizing that what unites us is far greater than what divides us.” [1]
• “Since the Second Vatican Council, the Catholic Church has wholeheartedly embraced the ecumenical path. Indeed, Unitatis Redintegratio, the Council’s decree on ecumenism, called us to dialogue in humble and loving fraternity, grounded in our common baptism and our shared mission in the world. We believe that the unity Christ wills for his Church must be visible, and that such unity grows through theological dialogue, common worship where possible, and shared witness in the face of humanity’s suffering.” [1]
• “The followers of Christ are summoned to become artisans of reconciliation: to confront division with courage, indifference with compassion, and to bring healing where there has been hurt.” [1]
• “This week, as you dialogue and celebrate together, I am pleased that my Delegation is able to be present as a sign of the Catholic Church’s commitment to continuing the journey of praying and working together, wherever we can, for peace, justice and the good of all.” [1]
This message is a clear advancement of the role of the papacy in end-time events and its plans for Protestants. For centuries, Protestantism stood in strong opposition to Rome, warning against its errors and abuses. Today, however, this tone has shifted dramatically. What was once a wound of separation and conflict is being healed through ecumenical dialogue, reconciliation, and joint action. The papacy now presents itself not as an adversary to Protestantism, but as its truest friend in the work of Christian unity.Pope Leo’s call to visible unity, however, raises significant concerns because that true unity must be based on faithfulness to God’s Word and obedience to His commandments, not on compromise or human tradition. The Vatican’s vision of ecumenism emphasizes dialogue, shared worship, and common mission, but it does not uphold the biblical foundation of keeping “the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus” (Revelation 14:12). In this way, the ecumenical path can prepare the world for a counterfeit unity—a false religious system that will eventually enforce false worship.
For Seventh-day Adventists, Pope Leo’s address serves as a reminder of the need to proclaim the Three Angels’ Messages of Revelation 14. In the face of a growing ecumenical movement that seeks to eliminate doctrinal differences, we are called to lift up Christ’s everlasting gospel, call people out of Babylon, and warn against the deceptive unity forming under Rome’s leadership. The world may be uniting under the papacy’s banner of reconciliation, but God’s Remnant people must stand faithful to Scripture, pointing all people to Christ, His commandments, and the hope of His soon return.

Pope Leo Urges Catholic Lawmakers to Take the Lead in Shaping Global Politics
On August 23, 2025, in his remarks to the International Catholic Legislators Network, Pope Leo XIV welcomed Catholic lawmakers and described their vocation as a sacred mission. He praised their theme, “The New World Order: Major Power Politics, Corporate Dominions, and the Future of Human Flourishing,” and expressed concern about the state of the world. He pointed to Saint Augustine as a model, urging lawmakers to shape society with the church’s values amid global uncertainty, just as Augustine sought to do in the collapsing Roman Empire.
The Pope emphasized the importance of solidarity among the nations and advocated for the full development of individuals, including their spiritual and moral growth. He called Catholic lawmakers to act as “bridge-builders,” applying their faith in crafting laws and policies that embody these values. Finally, he invoked Christ’s blessing on their efforts to guide the world.
The Holy See Press Office published the following regarding the Pope’s statement:
• “I am pleased to greet you, members of the International Catholic Legislators Network. And I thank you for your visit, here to the Vatican and to Rome.” [1]
• “You have gathered for your sixteenth annual meeting which has a thought-provoking theme this year: The New World Order: Major Power Politics, Corporate Dominions and the Future of Human Flourishing.” [1]
• “We are all concerned about the direction our world is taking, and yet, we long for authentic human flourishing.” [1]
• “I suggest that we might look to the past, to that towering figure of Saint Augustine of Hippo. As a leading voice of the Church in the late Roman era, he witnessed immense upheavals and social disintegration.” [1]
• “Augustine encouraged Christians to infuse the earthly society with the values of God’s Kingdom, thereby directing history toward its ultimate fulfillment in God, while also allowing for authentic human flourishing in this life.” [1]
• “Authentic human flourishing stems from what the Church calls integral human development, or the full development of a person in all dimensions: physical, social, cultural, moral, and spiritual.” [1]
• “It also includes a harmony with creation and a sense of solidarity across social classes and nations.” [1]
• “In your vocation as Catholic lawmakers and public servants, you are called to be bridge-builders.” [1]
• “May the Lord Jesus, the Prince of Peace, bless and guide your efforts for the true flourishing of the human family.” [1]
We are witnessing the growing influence of Roman Catholicism on legislation. Pope Leo’s appeal is a direct invitation for lawmakers to infuse public policy with Catholic principles. While framed in terms of human flourishing, solidarity, and peace, such language often conceals Rome’s long-standing agenda of uniting church and state under its moral authority.
This is a foreshadowing of the coming crisis described in Revelation 13, when political powers (the “beast” and the “image of the beast”) enforce religious mandates under the guise of promoting the good of society. When Catholic legislators begin embedding their doctrines into civil law, issues such as Sunday sacredness, the Eucharistic mass, ecological mandates, and other church traditions will ultimately result in enforced worship—where liberty of conscience is overruled by the power of the state.
In short, Pope Leo XIV’s address reflects a clear push toward the revival of the Papacy—a system where civil legislation enforces religious values. This speech is another sign that the world is moving rapidly toward the prophetic scenario of Revelation 13, where the union of church and state will demand obedience to man-made traditions above the word of God.

ParticipantHi
Pope Leo Calls on Catholic Politicians to Apply Their Religious Beliefs When “Drafting Laws,” Insisting that Faith and Politics Cannot Be Separated.
On August 28, 2025, at the Vatican Apostolic Palace, Pope Leo XIV received in audience a delegation of Catholic politicians and civil leaders from France. Pope Leo gave them a clear vision for how their faith should shape public life. He called for Catholic social teaching to be fully integrated into political life. The Pope went on to state that there is “no separation in the personality of a public figure,” meaning that a Catholic politician cannot live in two different spheres but must use their public office to promote Catholic teaching.
The Holy See Press Office published the following words expressed by Pope Leo:
• “I welcome all of you, elected officials and civil figures of the diocese of Créteil, on pilgrimage to Rome. I am happy to welcome you on your journey of faith … in working to build a more just, more humane, more fraternal world, which can only be a world more imbued with the Gospel.” [1]
• “In France, due to a sometimes misunderstood secularism, it is not easy for an elected official to act and decide consistently with his faith in the exercise of public responsibilities.” [1]
• “The salvation that Jesus achieved through his death and resurrection encompasses all dimensions of human life, including culture, economics and work, family and marriage, respect for human dignity and life, health, and even communication, education, and politics. Christianity cannot be reduced to a simple private devotion.” [1]
• “Charity becomes social and political charity: social charity makes us love the common good and effectively seek the good of all people.” [1]
• “Jesus states it forcefully: ‘because without me you can do nothing’ (John 15:5); we should therefore not be surprised that the promotion of ‘values’—however evangelical they may be—but ‘emptied’ of Christ, who is their author, are incapable of changing the world.” [1]
• “There is no separation in the personality of a public figure: there is not the politician on one side and the Christian on the other. But there is the politician who, under the gaze of God and his conscience, lives out his commitments and responsibilities in a Christian manner!” [1]
• “You are therefore called to strengthen yourselves in faith, to deepen your understanding of the doctrine—particularly the social doctrine—that Jesus taught the world, and to put it into practice in the exercise of your functions and in the drafting of laws.” [1]
The Pope has expressed what many Christian nationalists in America also affirm—that Christ’s work of salvation extends to every area of life, including the political arena. Catholicism, he insists, cannot be reduced to personal conviction or devotion; it must shape the entire social order. This vision gives Catholic doctrine a universal framework to guide civil society.
Perhaps the most remarkable statement is when Pope Leo tells Catholic politicians to “deepen their understanding of the doctrine” and then to “put it into practice in the exercise of your functions and in the drafting of laws.” He is directly merging the legislative processes of the state with the application of Catholic teaching. In other words, Pope Leo wants Catholic doctrine to serve as the blueprint for law and order.
The union of church and state has always been a central pillar to the Roman Papacy throughout history, and Revelation 13 predicts its resurgence in the last days. By calling on Catholic politicians to legislate according to the teaching of the church, Pope Leo is advancing the very policies that will lead to the enforcement of religious observance through civil authority during the Sunday law crisis. If political leaders are to legislate Catholic doctrine, then Sunday sacredness—Rome’s chief mark of authority—will very soon become a point of enforcement.
“Let the restraints now imposed by secular governments be removed, and Rome be reinstated in her former power, and there would speedily be a revival of her tyranny and persecution” (Great Controversy, p. 564).

DesireTruthParticipantThat entire post is a lie; read Gen 4:7!
Since you believe sin comes from Satan, you reject the words spoken to Cain by G-d and therefore reject G-d. G-d says we are to rule over sin and have power over it, which means we have power over Satan; G-d never said our power over sin was thru, of, by, or because of someone else, but that HE gave mankind the power to rule over sin. This “power” is whether or not we choose to turn from or engage in sin (knowledge of good and evil). This is a major hiccup (lie) christians have by believing they are powerless against sin and need a mediator working on their behalf. This creates a few problems; first, one places their trust in someone other than G-d; second, it pushes the cause of sin onto someone else; and third, calls G-d a liar.
“God’s plan was always to bear the consequences of sin Himself. He became sin for us, so that whosoever believes in Him can be saved.”
Pure lies!
“G-d’s plan was always to bear the consequences of sin HIMSELF.” Do you have a scripture from the Tanakh to support that? You may want to read Ezekiel 18 and see if that aligns with this belief.
“G-d became sin, so that whosoever believes in Him can be saved.” So G-d became a man to die? Except, Num 23:19 states “G-d is NOT a man”, so how could HE die? G-d can die?!?
When will eyes open to the deception of religion? When will one begin verifying what they have been told is truth? All one has to do is read what is written in the Tanakh and compare it to what’s in the NT and your eye WILL open.

ParticipantLabor Day Sunday: How Patriotism Is Being Used to Exalt Sunday Worship
On August 31, 2025, churches across the nation were invited to participate in Labor Day Sunday. This initiative, presented as an effort to honor workers and highlight the dignity of labor, is part of a national movement to unite churches under the common observance of Sunday. This was nothing more than the blending of religious worship with patriotic duty in an attempt to elevate Sunday as the sacred day of rest into our national consciousness.
The Labor Day Sunday movement emphasizes the following points on its website:
• “This August 31st, join faith communities across the countryin celebrating the dignity of work, courageous entrepreneurship, and all who labor diligently with their God-given gifts.” [1]
• “By participating in Labor Day Sunday, your church will: Encourage and bless local business owners and workers, connect faith to daily work in a tangible way, shine a light on God’s purpose in labor, service, and creativity. [1]
• “Together, we can transform a long weekend into a community milestone.” [1]
Commit to Hosting—Let us know your church is celebrating Labor Day Sunday.” [1]
• “Celebrate & Share—Use prayers, scriptures, and resources in your service and invite your community to join in.” [1]
• “Join the Movement”—Church leaders across the nation are committing to this powerful moment. Will you join them?” [1]
• “Thank you for being part of this national movement to honor those building a better tomorrow for future generations of Americans.” [1]
While Labor Day is traditionally observed on the first Monday of September, churches have shifted the focus to Sunday in an effort to embed it into national life and present it as the divinely appointed day for rest and worship. The call to “commit,” “celebrate and share,” and “join the movement” is designed to create ecumenical solidarity through a shared Sunday worship service called Labor Day Sunday. Churches from a variety of denominations are setting aside differences and uniting on one point: Sunday rest. This type of ecumenical unity minimizes doctrinal differences and establishes Sunday worship as the unifying mark of Christian identity. What is problematic about the Labor Day Sunday movement is that it cloaks Sunday observance in patriotic language. Churches are being told that by participating, they will be honoring “those building a better tomorrow for future generations of Americans” and that together they can “transform a long weekend into a community milestone.” In other words, Sunday observance is both a religious and patriotic duty. The mixing of faith and nationalism will pave the way for people to believe that Sunday observance is necessary in society for unity and prosperity. The goal is clear: make Sunday sacred and tie it to our national identity.
The Bible warns us that the time is near when “all the world wondered after the beast” (Revelation 13:3) and when “no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark” (Revelation 13:17). In contrast to this movement, the Bible identifies the seventh-day Sabbath as the true memorial of creation, the sign between God and His people: “Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations” (Exodus 31:13).
As the work to bring in the false Sabbath, Sunday rest, through the union of church and state, God is calling His people to lift up the everlasting gospel, to proclaim the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus, and to faithfully keep holy the day that He has sanctified—the seventh-day Sabbath.

Labor Day Sunday: How Patriotism Is Being Used to Exalt Sunday Worship
September 5, 2025 at 1:36 am#947565
DesireTruthParticipantIf you believe churches recognizing workers on one Sunday is exalting Sunday worship law, I have some ocean front property in Switzerland you may be interested in.
My guess is you never went to the site speaking of the “event”; if you had, you would have read: “This August 31st, join faith communities across the country (note it didn’t say the world; the “antichrist” isn’t going to be just in the United States) in celebrating the dignity of work, courageous entrepreneurship, and all who labor diligently with their God-given gifts.” G-d gave mankind work, HE gave people the mind to create and start something new (do you know what it takes to be an entrepreneur?? “Courage” doesn’t come close to describing an entrepreneur), and G-d gave each of us a gift/ability to complete a work/task. It would seem the few churches (not all) who participated in recognizing workers would be doing so “as a reminder that our daily work is sacred, purposeful, and worthy of honor.”
Somehow your religion twists churches who recognize people who contributes to the overall function of society to fit the teaching of your false prophet, who predicted a “national Sunday law” would happen in her life time that never did. How do you still believe in the writing of one who failed to predict correctly? G-d even says you will know a prophet isn’t from HIM when what they say doesn’t come true and White failed at many of her predictions (can’t call them prophecies, because they weren’t; like predicting the depopulation of the world (source), seven plagues of Revelation (source), or the return of the Jesus in her life time (source #37); none happened when she said they would and is therefore a false prophet.)
Question and verify everything!

Hi
Government Orders Businesses to Close on Sunday or Face Strict Action
On August 1, 2025, the government in Nagaland, India, issued a statement “requesting” that all business establishments must remain closed on Sundays. The declaration, issued by the Crime Secretary, K. Yeptho, and Crime Supervisor, L. Swu, insisted that Sunday should be observed as “a day of rest and worship by all Christians,” while further demanding that non-Christians also respect the sentiments of the majority and refrain from conducting business on that day. The statement warned that anyone who violated this directive would face “strict actions.”
Nagaland is a unique region in Northeastern India where over 90% of the population professes Christianity, and the majority are Baptist. Nagaland is actually more Baptist than any region in the United States, including Mississippi. [1] In such an overwhelmingly Christian territory, Sunday observance is regarded as the moral and social fabric of the community, exposing the danger of how a religious majority can sway the government to enforce Sunday rest upon all—even those who are not Christian.
The Nagaland Post reported the following on the Sunday rest mandate:
• “Government of UNPG/NNC has ‘requested’ business establishments to remain closed on Sundays. A press statement issued by UNPG/NNC Crime Secretary K. Yeptho and Crime Supervisor L. Swu pointed out that Sundays should be observed as a day of rest and worship by all Christians, while pointing that non-Christians residing and operating businesses should also respect the sentiments of the local Christian population and refrain from opening shops and markets on Sundays. The government informed that it has come to their attention that few individuals were opening shops on Sundays solely for selfish profit and disregarding the majority Christian sentiments on the issue. The statement also maintained that illegal liquor shops were also openly operating during Sunday. The government thereby cautioned that failing to abide by the said order would be met with strict actions.” [2]
Under this Baptist-influenced government, what is clearly a church doctrine has been transformed into a government mandate, with Sunday rest enforced by civil authority and backed by threats of penalty. This illustrates the inevitable outcome whenever church and state unite—religious coercion through law. Businesses are no longer free to decide whether they will open on Sunday. Instead, they are compelled under threat of punishment to comply with the religious sentiments of the majority.
The language used in the government’s statement is also troubling. Those who open their shops on Sundays are accused of doing so out of “selfish profit,” thereby casting them as enemies of the moral order. This is exactly the prophetic picture given in which those who protest the union of church and state are viewed as opponents of the public good. What we see here is an example of what happens when religious dominance takes control of government legislation.
“It will be declared that men are offending God by the violation of the Sunday-sabbath, that this sin has brought calamities which will not cease until Sunday observance shall be strictly enforced, and that those who present the claims of the fourth commandment, thus destroying reverence for Sunday, are troublers of the people, preventing their restoration to divine favor and temporal prosperity” (Great Controversy, p. 590).
These developments in Nagaland are not isolated and are but a foreshadowing of the global enforcement of Sunday laws predicted in Revelation 13. Prophecy declares that in the final crisis, the whole world will be compelled to honor Sunday as the day of worship, and that those who refuse will face penalties—first economic, and eventually death.Revelation 13:16–17 warns that all, “both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond,” will be required to receive a mark that determines whether they can buy or sell. This reveals that economic sanctions will be used to enforce religious observance. Daniel 7:25 foretells that the “little horn” would “think to change times and laws,” a prophecy that predicts the change of the Sabbath commandment to favor Sunday, pointing to the rejection of God’s commandments in favor of man-made traditions.

What is happening in Nagaland is a clear example of how easily religious majorities can use civil power to enforce Sunday laws. Today, it is one government in a Baptist-dominated territory of India. Tomorrow, it will be a decree—first here in the United States, and then throughout the world—uniting church and state in compelling all people to bow to the authority of human laws rather than the commandments of God.
As students of Bible prophecy, we recognize that what is unfolding in one corner of the world will soon encompass the entire globe. The Sunday laws foretold in prophecy are not a distant possibility but an approaching reality, and God’s people must be prepared to stand faithfully for His truth by proclaiming the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus (Revelation 14:12).

ProclaimerParticipantNew Testament aside. Logic tells you there is an original devil or original one who first rejected God by exercising free will.
God has given free, a gift that rises us above mere robots.
And since God is not evil nor makes people sin, then sin is choosing against God who is good light, love, and wants the best for us.
Thus, someone, somewhere chose to reject all these attributes of God, leaving them as the father of all things opposite to God. Hence the evil one, prince of darkness, the murderer from the beginning, and tempter.

DesireTruthParticipantNew Testament aside.
Yes, do this for about two months and study the Tanakh; if you can, set aside the Jesus biases that have been planted in your mind.
Logic tells you there is an original devil or original one who first rejected God by exercising free will.
Please give the passage from the Tanakh where Satan is said to have rebelled against G-d.
Since you have brought up “logic”, can you explain why the writer of Matthew claims Isa 7:14 is a prophecy of the Jesus’ birth when Isaiah is speaking to king Ahaz about the nation coming against the Southern Kingdom?
Can you explain why the Jesus calls himself the “son of man” when he, according to Matthew and Luke, is the son of no man (born of a virgin).
Can you explain why the writer of Matthew (2:15) takes Hosea 11:1 out of context claiming it’s the Jesus who is being called out of Egypt; when Hosea says “When Israel was a child, I loved him, and out of Egypt I called my son.”
And since God is not evil nor makes people sin, then sin is choosing against God who is good light, love, and wants the best for us.
ABSOLUTELY!!!!! Your actions/sins belong to YOU, and you alone; Once Adam ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, G-d gave us the knowledge of what is good and bad, HE gave us freewill to choose right from wrong. Why does christianity then blame Satan for all in the world or the evil they commit? Own it, you did it!
Thus, someone, somewhere chose to reject all these attributes of God, leaving them as the father of all things opposite to God. Hence the evil one, prince of darkness, the murderer from the beginning, and tempter.
You need to explain Isa 45:7; G-d’s says, “Who forms light and creates darkness, Who makes peace and creates evil; I am the Lord, Who makes all these.” G-d is the one who makes peace and creates evil. I read of no “rebellious” entity who is the opposite of G-d. We need to go back to Gen 4:6-7 where G-d is speaking to Cain and tells him, “And the Lord said to Cain, “Why are you annoyed, and why has your countenance fallen? Is it not so that if you improve, it will be forgiven you? If you do not improve, however, at the entrance, sin is lying, and to you is its longing, but you can rule over it.” Can you explain why G-d tells Cain he can rule over sin and why the christian needs the Jesus to have power over it?

ParticipantSatan is a Hebrew word that means “an accuser or adversary, one who resists.” The term is used nineteen times in the Old Testament, fourteen of which are in Job 1 and 2. Satan is also mentioned in 1 Chronicles 21:1; Psalm 109:6; and Zechariah 3:1–2.
