When the beast” IS “, il means the woman and beast ARE ONE.
Jesus said that we can be one with him, yet that doesn’t make us one or the same person, rather one body of believers instead. The Beast is political and Babylon is religious, so yes a body.
The political empires around the Mediterranean Sea have of course been political, but they all were accompanied by false religion and a pantheon of gods. Whether you consider Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece: Rome, Ottoman, their gods or God is rooted in Babylon and of course Babylon also has its roots in earlier times.
The gods of Babylon were for the most part the same gods of Persia, Greece, Rome, and even the Islamic empire. The mother and child of Greece bears resemblance to Mary and Child of Catholicism for example.
Since the Roman Empire and the rise of Catholicism another beast arose, that being the Ottomans. It was they who beheaded believers and made them nearly extinct in that region of the world.
The wine that makes them drunk is their false doctrines.
And while the Ottoman Empire believed in one God, their God has no son as stated in their own writings. Thus the following scripture describes that god.
Who is the liar? It is whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a person is the antichrist—denying the Father and the Son.
The kings of the earth are the ten horns of the beast with which the whore prostituted herself( Rev.17:2) and it is through them that she persecuted the saints (Rev.13 and 17) for more than 1000 years.
The papacy is the anti Christ WHICH HAS FORMED HIMSELF FROM THE MIDDLE OF THE CHURCH:

Keith, you are right it has everything to do with politics, it is the main way this whole world operates, and governs, it’s economy, this system of economics we operate under was started by The first world ruling power, the KINGDOM OF BABYLON. And has continued to ‘OPERATE’ unto this very day, it is the very same way the “Economy ” of “BUY AND SELL FOR GAIN” it is the “System the Governments ” of the past and present world operates under. This economic governance created by Satan, that causes “SLAVERY ” “USERY” and “IDOLATRY” the world over, and “ALL”, the nations, of this present earth operate through that same system of rule, that was started by the Kingdom of Babylon .
Here is a list that exactly conforms, to what John wrote in Revelation 17:8-10

Now we’re told Rev 17:9…..”And here is the mind which has wisdom, the seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman (Babylon) sits . A mountain is a rising, this is telling us that the Babylonian Type of empire’s will rise and fall Seven times.
Now we get to the main point that gives us the exact timeline of the prophesy.
Rev 17:10……”And there are seven (world ruling) Kings or kingdoms: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is (yet) to come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.At the timeline of this prophecy, these Five world ruling powers will be fallen listed below

We are living in the Fifth Babylonian world ruling kingdom. Different nations who do not operate as one nation as other four kingdoms did, as Daniel said it would be , before the mountain cut out by God will destroy the Babylonian type of rule and Satan will be captured and placed in the bottomless pit for about a thousand years, then released for a short time at the end of the Millennial Rein of Jesus and the Saint’s.The (Sixth) , world ruling kingdom on this earth, will be the Kingdom of Jesus and the Saint’s.
At the end of the sixth millennial kingdom , the seventh world ruling kingdom will rise out of this earth, the deadly wound inflicted on the fifth Babylonian kingdom will be healed for a short time, and after this, then BABYLONIAN will be destroyed for ever.

Many are teaching today that when Jesus returns, He will establish an earthly kingdom and that the kings of this present time will submit to His rule or be destroyed. But that’s not the picture we see in these verses. All the kingdoms of this world will be destroyed at the brightness of His coming, an event seen by every living person.
No matter where a person lives, no matter what language he speaks or what age he is, when Christ returns, he will know about it: “Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him. … And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him” (Revelation 1:7).
All those who have disdained Christ’s mercy, call, and love will face what they have done. Sadly, we see that people from all walks of life—rich and poor, master and servant, worldly wise and celebrity—will choose against their Creator.
In response, they would all rather die than embrace Him. Why? “Because I have called and you refused, I have stretched out my hand and no one regarded” (Proverbs 1:24). Our God did all He could so that “all should come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9); our Savior, when He was sacrificed on the cross, said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do” (Luke 23:34). The truth of who God is and what He did for every human being will be undeniable. And those who did not take His gift of eternal life will know what they have lost. It will be more than they can bear.
At this very moment, Christ our Advocate is interceding for each of us; He is giving you every chance He can, down to the wire, to repent. What is left for those who have refused life from the One who holds the keys to eternal life?
Gracious Redeemer, may I never deny, may I never reject Your offer. May I be found among those who ever desire to seek Your face.

The Beast comes out of the Great Sea (Mediterranean).
After Rome, the next empire that surrounded that sea and also succeeded the Roman Empire was the Ottoman Empire which lasted for 623 years, from its foundation in 1299 to its dissolution in 1922.
It was they who beheaded the true witnesses and the tribulations were so bad that Christians almost became extinct in the areas they once inhabited. But an 8th will arise and is of the seventh/seven. To this day, the Koran calls on their believers to do the following things (which we also read about in scripture):

“When you meet the unbelievers, smite their necks.”Quran 8:12
“I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them”“Then I saw thrones, and seated on them were those to whom the authority to judge was committed. Also I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.”
Further, the feet of the statue were mixed. Consisting of Iron and Clay. Mixed in Aramaic is related to the word Arab as they are a mixed people.
The ten toes may be the 10 nations that were created by the fall of the Western leg of the Roman Empire. It was the Eastern leg which continued for another 1000 years that eventually succumbed to the Ottomans.
Now back to this verse:
“The beast that was and is not, is itself an eighth but belongs to the seven, and it goes to destruction.”
This verse is ambiguous and allows for both collective (“seven”) and specific (“seventh”) interpretations.
If seventh, then ISIS was a failed attempt and currently, there is no Beast as it IS NOT.
But it will rise again for a short period.
If the Ottoman was the seventh, then an Islamic Empire may arise for a short time in the Middle East and Europe just before the end. No surprises here as many Muslims illegally immigrated to Europe over the years and traditionally have larger families than Europeans. Could an Islamic Empire unite the Middle East and even make inroads to Europe? Regardless, this 8th empire / king will reign for a short period and then be severely judged by God.
The Antichrist is that who is seated in the temple of God that shouldn’t be there and what is there today?
An Islamic shrine which is often called a mosque. Written on the wall is this statement:
“God has no Son.”This is a confession of the antichrist.
This makes way more sense than the western nations or the pope being the current beast.
The western nations are a Judeo-Christian civilisation.
And the Pope is more akin to Mystery Babylon that rides atop the Beast.
False religion has accompanied the Beast in all its forms.

Antichrist denies both the Father and the Son, but how? – He does so seductively or deceptively. John wrote, “These things have I written unto you, concerning them that seduce you.” The text does not say that antichrist does not speak about the Father and the Son. What it does say is that antichrist denies the Father and the Son in a way that seduces Christians. What then is the relationship between the Father and the Son? JESUS SAID, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6. Paul said, “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.” 1 Timothy 2:5.
DOES ANTICHRIST DENY THAT THE ONLY WAY TO THE FATHER IS THROUGH JESUS CHRIST? – He certainly does. And if you deny that relationship between the Father and the Son, you are also denying the Son. Can antichrist deny that relationship and still claim or profess to follow Christ? – Yes, and this is what makes antichrist so deceptive.

THE FIRST DAY — CREATION AND REDEMPTION
“IN the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” 1 In this brief sentence we have the whole of the truth of the Gospel summed up. He who reads aright may derive a world of comfort from it.
In the first place, let us consider who it was that created the heaven and the earth. “God created.” But Christ is God, the brightness of the Father’s glory, and the express image of His person. 2 He Himself said, “I and My Father are one.” 3 He it was who, representing the Father, created the heaven and the earth. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made.” 1 And again we read of Christ, that “by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him and for Him: and He is before all things, and by Him all things consist.”
The Father Himself addresses the Son as God and as Creator. The first chapter of Hebrews says that God has not at any time said to any of the angels, “Thou art My Son, this day have I begotten Thee.” “But unto the Son He saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of Thy kingdom.” And He has also said to the Son, “Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the works of Thine hands.” 3 So we are well assured that when we read in the first chapter of Genesis, “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth,” it refers to God in Christ.
Creative power is the distinguishing mark of Divinity. The Spirit of the Lord, through the prophet Jeremiah, describes the vanity of idols, and then continues, “But the Lord is the true God, He is the living God, and an everlasting King: at His wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide His indignation. Thus shall ye say unto them, The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, even they shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens. He hath made the earth by His power, He hath established the world by His wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by His discretion.” 1 The earth was made by His power, and established by His Wisdom. But Christ is “the power of God, and the wisdom of God.” So here again we find Christ inseparably connected with creation as the Creator. Only as we acknowledge and worship Christ as the Creator do we acknowledge His Divinity.
Christ is Redeemer by virtue of His power as Creator. We read that “we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins,” because that “by Him were all things created.” 2 If He were not Creator, He could not be Redeemer.
This means simply that redemptive power and creative power are the same. To redeem is to create. This is shown in the statement of the apostle that the Gospel is the power of God unto salvation; which statement is immediately followed by another to the effect that the power of God is seen by means of the things that have been made. 1 When we consider the works of creation, and think of the power manifested in them, we are contemplating the power of redemption.
There has been a great deal of idle speculation as to which is the greater, redemption or creation. Many have thought that redemption is a greater work than creation. Such speculation is idle, because only infinite power could perform either work, and infinite power cannot be measured by human minds. But while we cannot measure the power, we can easily settle the question of which is the greater, because the Scriptures give us the information. Neither is greater than the other, for both are the same. Redemption is creation. Redemption is the same power that was put forth in the beginning to create the world and all that is in it, now put forth to save men and the earth from the curse of sin.
The Scriptures are very clear on this point. The Psalmist prayed, “Create in me a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within me.” 1 The apostle says, that “if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature,” 2 or a new creation. And again we read, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained, that we should walk in them.”
Compared with God, man is “less than nothing, and vanity.” 4 In him “dwelleth no good thing.” 5 Now the same power that in the beginning made the earth from nothing, takes man, if he is willing, and makes of him that which is “to the praise of the glory of His grace.

So the Jesus is G-d?!?!? G-d is G-d and there is NO other. Even you said G-d “needed” the Jesus for the forgiveness of sin because HE is to small and unable to forgive; meaning there MUST be a separation of the two. The Jesus even states he is the “son of G-d”, another separation. Further, the Jesus says he doesn’t know the day or hour of his own return, only the Father knows; two separate beings. As the Jesus is dying on the cross he yells out, “Father, why have you forsaken me?” Can the Jesus forsake himself?
Let’s not forget Deut 6:4 The LORD is our God, the LORD is one! I didn’t read three in one did you?

Answer the questions! When will you or anyone verify what they are told is truth? The Jesus can’t be G-d because he said he wasn’t; yet, you post someone else’s words and believe them without verification. Stop smashing the “I Believe Button” and start using the brain G-d gave you and test the words you so emphatically believe (doesn’t Paul say that?). When you do, the only option is to turn to Hashem, and only HIM.

The lack of a rebuttal of me saying the Jesus isn’t G-d further solidifies you can’t defend what you believe.
If the Jesus is G-d produce the passages stating the Jesus is G-d in the flesh. If you are unable to scripturally support your claim of the Jesus god, you are following the false teachings of man.
