What is the new law of the Spirit of which you refer?July 3, 2007 at 8:39 pm#57826NickHassanParticipantHi ACC,
The Spirit baptism is meant to allow the Spirit of God to lead us
and become for us an inner law.Jeremiah 31:33
But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.Romans 8:2
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
Galatians 5:18
But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
Hebrews 8:10
For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
Hebrews 10:16

July 4, 2007 at 4:29 am#57944chosenoneParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ July 04 2007,07:34) Hi L,
You say
“If we break the law we are under the law.”
Gentiles have never been under the Law given to the Jews. And as Rom 2 says
” 12For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law; “You must be born again.
Then you are under the new law of the Spirit.
We are under the new law of the spirit? This must be in the “Gospel of Nick”. Adding a chapter to the scriptures are you?July 4, 2007 at 4:33 am#57947NickHassanParticipantHi CO,
Have you not yet come under the law of the Spirit?
We are not among the lawless.

Seven times in Revelations we are told to believe in the Messiah and to Guard the commands. This is His people.

You quote 1 jn 2
“1My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:2And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
3And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
4He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
5But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. “
So in context WHOSE COMMANDMENTS are spoken of here?

What do you want to do Nick confuse the issue?Jesus' commands are His Father's Commands. Jesus did nothing on His own.
Now if you are talking about love sure love fulfills ALL law.
What is love Nick?
1Jo 5:2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
Let's see love God and keep His commandments. Do you love God Nick? Then keep His commandments.
1Jo 2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. Do you know God Nick. You always seem to be coming against His law.
Rom 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
Those who's mind is set on the flesh cannot keep the law of God.Yes Nick the Law is written on our heart. What law is that?
Would it be the Ten commandments?
The TRUE church has both Jesus and the commandments of God.
Rev 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Are you of the true church? Then keep His commandments.
If you keep God's commandments then you will surely LOVE which is Jesus' command.
Do me a favour Nick list All Jesus' commandments. Not that it makes any difference because Jesus said it is the Father that tells Hin what to say. So the command to love one another is God's commandand is covered in the TEN.
But this isn't about love in your mind it's to obey.
REMEMBER to keep the Sabbath. Instead you choose your will, which is contray to God's law.
It is such a big deal to obey God and keep His day instead of man's day for those who are of the flesh for they CANNOT keep God's law.
Rom 8:4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Rom 8:5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
Rom 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Rom 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.Go back to the Ten Commandment thread and read your posts and the pages of scripture that were given you.
I repeat a portion of that thread for those who don't know. But you know Nick you just refuse to submit.
Sad very sad.

July 4, 2007 at 10:07 pm#58034NickHassanParticipantHi K,
You say
“Jesus' commands are His Father's Commands.”But Jesus pointed out that there is a difference.
John 15:10
“If you obey my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father's commands and remain in his love.”July 4, 2007 at 10:14 pm#58035kenrchParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ July 05 2007,10:07) Hi K,

John 15:10
“If you obey my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father's commands and remain in his love.”
What does it mean to remain in the Love of Jesus? The love of Jesus is not the love of God?1Jo 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
So you don't keep the love of God? Just Jesus?
Aren't you grasping at straws trying to justify why you are not obedient?
Scripture tells you why you are disobedient.
July 4, 2007 at 10:44 pm#58039NickHassanParticipantHi K,
Can you not dialogue over a disagreement without sitting in judgement?
Was not another command of Jesus not to judge?July 4, 2007 at 11:05 pm#58045acertainchapParticipantWho is to tell who is written in the Book of Life?
July 4, 2007 at 11:07 pm#58046kenrchParticipantNick you judge yourself by teaching that the commandments are done awaywith, only for Jews etc.
I just give you scripture. Are we not our brother's keeper?
I told you time and again it's your choice and time and again you bring up the subject. Why is that does your spirit want you to know something?
Why do you go against scripture? Do you deny Rev. 12:17 and Rev 14:12. These scriptures say that the saints will be keeping the commandments of God and faith in Jesus. Rev. 22:14 says those who do the commandments have a right to the tree of life.
Rev 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
You deny this scripture also. I don't judge you it is the very WORD of God that judges you.
Why continue? Just with those few above scriptures it's clear VERY clear. Still you persist with your way. Your like someone drowning but when someone gets close you grab them and try to bring them down with you.
Scriptures say Keep the commandments of God. Are their only nine commandments? Nine written on our heart and one if you love your Father you REMEMBER. The Sabbath is not programed into your mind as the other nine are. Gee all should want to spend a WHOLE day with Dad.
Mat 5:18 For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished.
Has heaven and earth passed away? Has death been defeated? Is God all in all?
