    Hi Abe,
This has been on my mind for a while:

    Jesus said:
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send (Greek) in the name of me, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.

Do you think that the Holy Spirit now could be named Jesus?
I am trying to figure something out, I have more questions after that.
    Thanks Abe.

    Hi 2Besee,

This is easy to understand once it's explained…
Jesus' name means: “YA is Salvation,” the
HolySpirit brings “The Salvation of YA.”

    God bless

    Hi Gene,

That was a VERY GOOD explanation!  And here are just a few of many corroborating Bible verses (for the benefit of the readers):

(Isaiah 53:2, 53:10) “[Jesus] shall grow up before [YHVH] as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground:”

[YHVH] shalt make [Jesus'] soul an offering for sin, [Jesus] shall see [God's seed] (“God's Seed” is “The Word”)  (see Luke 8:11)

THE HOLY SPIRIT IS GOD'S SEED!
(And he that soweth God's Seed is “the Son of Man”)
                                                                                (see Matthew 13:37)

(Jesus said unto them) “WHAT IS THE KINGDOM OF GOD LIKE? and whereunto shall I resemble it?
(God's Kingdom) is like a grain of mustard SEED, which a man took, and cast into his garden; and it grew,
(see Acts 12:24) and waxed *a great tree; and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it.” (Luke 13:18-19)

“So mightily grew “The Word”(HOLYSPIRIT) of God and prevailed.” (Acts 19:20)

    Acts 9
    When Paul had his vision.

“Now as he journeyed he approached Damascus, and suddenly a light from heaven flashed about him. [4] And he fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?”
[5] And he said, “Who are you, Lord?” And he said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.

    No 2Besee,

“The Word” of God is the HolySpirit of God, and
the robe that the HolySpirit is wearing is the spirit of Christ,

    Hi 2Besee,

                    “Glory to Glory” (2Cor.3:18)

“Surely thou(ZION) shalt clothe thee with them all, as with an
ornament, and bind them on thee, as a bride(Rev.21:9) doeth.” (Isaiah 49:18)
“Zion” represents God's “HolySpirit” – now do you understand the meaning of Isaiah 49:13-18?
The spirit of Christ was married to the spirit of GOD (God's HolySpirit) in holy-SPIRITUAL-matrimony.

    Abe,

” You are not in the flesh but in the Spirit — if it is so, that THE SPIRIT OF GOD dwells in you. But if any man doesn't have the SPIRIT OF CHRIST, he is not his.”

There you see the Spirit of God and the Spirit of Christ, and we know from scripture that there is only one spirit.

1 Corinthians 3:16 “Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's Spirit lives in you?”

1 Corinthians 6:17 'But he who unites himself with the Lord is one with him in spirit.'

1 Corinthians 6:19 'Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own.'

Here is the spirit of Christ in the prophets of old:

    1 Peter 1:10-12.

'The prophets who prophesied of the grace that was to be yours searched and inquired about this salvation; they inquired what person or time was INDICATED BY THE SPIRIT OF CHRIST WITHIN when predicting the sufferings of Christ and the subsequent glory. It was revealed to them that they were serving not themselves but you, in the things which have now been announced to you by those who preached the good news to you through the Holy Spirit sent from heaven, things into which angels long to look.'

    Hi 2Besee,

As I have shown you before – the “HolySpirit” cannot be Jesus, and here's why:

The Father of Spirits is God's HolySpirit

“Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us,
and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in
subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?” (Heb 12:9)

    1. “Father of Spirits”
    2. The spirits that the Father of Spirits is Father of.

Since YHVH is a Spirit and Christ is his Son, that means
that the “spirit of Christ” is number 2; WHO IS NUMBER 1?         (<– please answer)

Ed, I did not say that Jesus was the Holy Spirit 'as such'. I said that I believe that the Holy Spirit is also called the Spirit of Christ, and is also called the Spirit of the Son…which was IN Jesus of Nazareth.
I was curious about the vision that Paul had of Jesus speaking to him – that is all. But I see that that was a vison, which is different.

I know what I believe right up to the ascension of Jesus to heaven. But from then on is where I would like to study more.
