Anyway, please be ware if you are an Athiest. Mike’s assertions that the Bible teaches flat earth are lies. If that is you, do not listen to Mike. He will lead you away from God because of his foolish behaviour. The bible doesn’t teach his view.
Hi Proclaimer, I wonder how an Atheist once claimed to be is having fear of getting converted back again?
Nothing complicated in my question as you were an Atheist prior to becoming a Christian and need not worry about others who can be converted to be Atheists.

Yes, I was an Atheist and became a Believer.
I was then shown Heaven and Hell and was told to encourage my family to make it to Heaven.
Naturally, I care about people’s souls now that I know what happens when we die.
If there was no Heaven Hell or Judgement, then it would matter little what anyone does.
Life would be meaningless and sin wouldn’t matter because it wouldn’t be sin.
But, we will all give an account for every word and deed to our creator.
Some will go to everlasting life and others to everlasting death.
Everlasting death would mean that you would never again see life.
Some already believe this is their fate.
It’s a standard atheist belief, so there is some agreement.
Naturally, I care about people’s souls now that I know what happens when we die.

Very good intention of yours yes we need to know whether such heaven and hell really exists. When I look at the Hebrew Bible there is no such thing as heaven and hell where the so called souls of the dead reach. If you are so much interested you should investigate on these two destinations after death instead of on the Flat Earth or Spherical Earth.
Proclaimer…….I agree with Adam, 99.999 % of the whole world, knows by sound proofs, the world is a sphere that is turning into the direction of the sun, which gives us the “Elusion” , the sun is rising and setting around us. Let’s be real. One thread among thousands is not going to bring the site down. And I am fascinated by people who are deceived. I like to see why that is. It helps me learn. And yes, not even obvious facts can convince a man who will defend his false doctrine to the death. Further, this site is about exposing lies that are connected to God, Heaven, The Bible etc. It is about debunking false doctrines.
So let’s imagine a person is about to join the flat earth cult. They google the subject and get videos and content from flat earthers that might seem convincing to them. Then they find a site like this or a debunk video that shows up the lies. Now that person has heard both sides of the argument and can decide fairly.
So you say why waste my time on this subject. The answer is the same as to why I waste my time debating the origins of the son of God, the existence of God, or who and what God is. And Mike says the bible teaches flat earth. That makes this subject a target for this site’s mission.
So all things will be subject to Christ and in turn to God. All arguments against the truth, all enemies of the truth, all sin, all vanity. When the plan of God is complete, he will be in all.

Hi Proclaimer, thanks for your reply to my post. But you are forgetting that religion and it’s basic tenets will not change as the knowledge increases. For example the existence of God would not change as the knowledge increases. If the heaven and hell were the two basic tenets of any religion they would not change as the knowledge increases. If they change as the time goes then there is no reliability on such religion and we can add any such new concept to that religion.
Just replace heaven and hell with Andromeda and atoms and now judge your question.
Knowledge increasing means that not all is known, but will be known in time.
Simple.
There are many things today, besides heaven and hell that are known by people alive today that ancient people could perhaps only dream about.
Although, many ancient people and cultures believed in a heaven or hellish afterlife. Known by different names in different languages in different times.
So could you tell us with what names these heaven and hell were written in the Old Testament (Hebrew Bible)? I mean where the souls of the dead reach after death.

Hi Gene, this site is about placing the truth of the Bible OVER and ABOVE all else, right? (“Let God be true, and every human being a liar“, right?) Yet you believe in a worldview in which the earth began as a molten blob of iron and rock formed from a swirling space cloud of dust and gas. But the Bible says that the earth was created by God and was formed from water.
Would you please state for the record which earth formation account is the correct one, and which one is false doctrine? Thanks.

Mike. God creates with his Word. However the earth came to be, it wasn’t a random act. The invisible God was behind it and still is. It might look like what scientists describe, but they don’t see the invisible hand of God.
By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.
Many scientists lack the faith part.

Without doing any research, it could be as simple as land appearing above the water as more water became present in the atmosphere or perhaps sunk into the depths. The following translation seems to explain it like that.

Conversely, the biased interpretations of flawed men (which you erroneously call “science”) tell us that the earth formed from a hot swirling cloud of gas and rock, right?
Since it’s impossible for both accounts to be true, which one is? Which account of the earth’s formation do you believe?

Your own source tells you to not confuse that with vast underground seas, since this alleged water is trapped inside of rocks. But that is a diversion. We’re talking about the very FORMATION of the earth. The Bible says it was formed from water, and “Big Science” says it was formed from gas and rocks.
