I cannot verify any or most of what you say Mike. But I suspect most of it is scaremongering. BTW, the stats in the above post mean nothing. Are they deaths or hospitalizations or what? And if way more people are vaccinated than non-vaccinated, then statistically, vaccinated should show up more due to making up the bulk of the population.
Anyway, this Australia story hits closer to home for me as I have lived in a few states of Australia and know what life is like there. I can tell you that this country is free. People are positive. They are pretty rich to be honest and very generous IMO.
Okay, I haven’t lived there a log time now, but have travelled there over the years since then.
So I asked myself if Australia has changed into a Police State since then. Well lots of Kiwis live there and some close friends of mine and people I went to school with. No one tells me it is a police state. Yes, you could argue it has moved a bit closer in that direction, just like any other country in the west has. But to the degree that you make out? I don’t think so. And there is a virus on the loose that kills people, so that is never going to mean life will be normal while that is happening. If you were not told there was a virus and that you had to scan in etc, then yes that would be scary and unbelievable. I am sure that during WWII things weren’t normal either. And about a decade ago life in one of our cities was not normal. The army patrolled the streets and stopped people from entering the CBD. Horrifying right? Yes, but if you knew that this city had a devastating earthquake that destroyed one-third of the buildings, then you would fully understand. Since the shaking stopped, life returned back to normal though.
Anyhow, I read the post above and I googled this story on a news page and they linked the or a source link which I will paste below. It looks to me like the headline is being sensational. All the story is saying that if you don’t pay fines, they will cease assets to sell in order to pay what you owe. This is nothing new IMO. When you rack up speeding tickets and do not pay them, the authorities try to do a deal with you where you pay a small amount each week. Same goes when you steal money and have to pay it back and you spent the money and are on welfare. Well you get to pay a miniscule amount of money each week because they know you would starve if they made you pay most of your welfare and whoever did that would be sacked and disgraced. But if you have assets and you owe money, then different story. It’s usually more like a car being ceased so it can be sold to pay your debts. Companies that go bankrupt go through this. This is a nothing burger IMO.
I think the condition you see Australia is possible in a decade or decades to come. It’s also entirely possible that Australians will reject wokeness and will not go down this path. It might just be a fad. Maybe that is wishful thinking. I certainly do not put much stock in the yonder generations. But maybe they will grow up and be more wise from life’s experiences. I know growing up before I believed in God, I wasn’t exactly an angel myself. I had some really dumb liberal ideas myself. Okay, I was an Atheist and I was young. I lacked in life’s experiences.

The other story I checked out was Aguero. As an avid football fan, I know this guy from that viewpoint. He actually tested positive for Covid-19 back in January, so let me create a conspiracy theory and say that he has Long Covid. Anyway, I don’t know if he has had the vaccine, but IMO, he doesn;t need to if he got Covid-19 because his body already has antibodies.
Further, footballers suffer this from time to time even before Covid. Unlike American Football that takes lots of breaks, Soccer is essentially nonstop running for 90 minutes. At the top level, a footballer playing a full match will run anywhere between 8–13km. Sergio Aguero is not getting any younger either.
Another footballer called Christian_Eriksen suffered something similar in 2020. I think this had nothing to do with Covid as he was given an implantable cardioverter-defibrillator device.

3. They are fining (and even beating and arresting) people for such ludicrous things as having their mask down too long to take a drink. (Cops even check the cups of people not wearing masks, because if the cup is empty, then they are guilty and get fined/arrested.) I’ve seen countless videos of this crap on Telegram, and heard the testimonies from people who must run to their phones and take a photo of their location anytime the “authorities” call them out of the blue for a “location check”.
4. And now, if you don’t pay the UNCONSTITUIONAL fines for having your mask down too long to take a drink, they invade your bank account, take your license, etc.

Real truth seekers (ie: NOT the lying propagandists of the MSM) dug deeper and did a FOIA request for some emails and got the ones where the people at the NIH were pointing out that the mRNA injections don’t even align with THEIR OWN definition of what a vaccine is. They spoke about how this put them in a bad position of calling this jab a “vax” when it clearly isn’t one – and so they’d have to change the definition of what a vax is.

So what. Australia and New Zealand took an elimination strategy. That means we were strict. And what did that give us? Oppression? Actually freedom. We carried on as normal for the most part because for over a year we had zero cases of Covid-19. While you guys were suffering, we were going to concerts, church, sporting events, school, work, etc. And how was this achieved? By being strict about who could come into our countries.
But as NZers came back from overseas to escape Covid, they quarantined and it didn’t take a rocket scientist to know that we would eventually get the virus. So when one of our cities got one case, they went into lockdown. Australia didn’t fare so well and it starting spreading again, so they got heavy because the few breaking the rules would destroy all the sacrifices others made. Those few decided for their own reasons to change the approach to Covid for the whole country by spreading the virus to potentially everyone. Can you understand it now?
Regardless, we are opening up once vaccination rates hit a certain number. It’s already starting. I can travel to the Cook Islands now if I want. Australia is next. As the vaccination rates get higher, so our freedoms will appear again.
I would only truly be worried if they were not given back. Then I would be onboard with your view on this point.

Gene, it’s one thing for you to NOT want to investigate things for yourself to get to the truth. But it’s truly “bad form” for you to fight AGAINST those who ARE trying to get at the truth of the matter – especially when your only ammo is crap you heard on TV from the MSM.
I just logged onto the VAERS site myself. I selected only Pfizer (not Moderna, Astra-Zeneca, or Johnson&Johnson). And I selected only data from the USA. This one is so you can see I’m on the official CDC VAERS site…

Do you see that number at the bottom? One million, two hundred and four thousand. That number includes a bunch of non-relevant stuff like yawning and yellow skin. But the SERIOUS adverse reactions are now over 200,000. And you can see for yourself that the DEATHS are currently at 3,018, right? (And that doesn’t count the 559 spontaneous abortions – which are actually deaths of unborn babies.)
Now I want you to try to think LOGICALLY for a second. Does 3500 deaths seem to you like, “Taking a random or extra ordinary event and changing into a common event” ? Does 200,000 SERIOUS adverse events like loss of limbs, being paralyzed, severe lifelong heart conditions that will kill you at a young age, etc., seem to you like, “Taking a random or extra ordinary event and changing into a common event” ?
Remember, counting the aborted babies, this is 3500 deaths ONLY from Pfizer, and ONLY in the USA, and ONLY so far!
When the Swine Flu vaccine got to 27 (TWENTY SEVEN!) deaths, they IMMEDIATELY stopped giving it out. We’re currently up to 3500 deaths, and they aren’t only MANDATING it to everyone, they’re even trying to MANDATE it to our 5-11 year old children – who are at zero risk from Covid! (And if we add the other companies in, the death tally is currently at 20,000!)
So what’s really going on here, Gene? Please reconcile for me the act of PULLING the Swine vax after 27 deaths and MANDATING the Covid “vax” after 3500 deaths.

You missed the point completely. This is normal if you have unpaid fines like speeding tickets or if you have to pay reparations but do not have money. Then they take it from your assets. That said, I bet very few if any had their house sold to help pay their fines. Most could pay the fines a bit each week or by selling a phone or car if it was excessive.
Show me one case where a person’s house was taken and sold to pay their Covid fines. BTW, if that did happen, they would get the money from the sale minus what they owe in fines. But I doubt this has happened because if you owned a home, you would surely own other assets of much lesser value that could be taken to pay your fines.
In NZ, the only cases I know of where people got their house or car ceased was because they were the proceeds of crime.
