Awesome indeed.
February 20, 2007 at 8:26 am#42404ProclaimerParticipantI missed it because the weather was cloudy that week.
The weather here is beautiful now, but alas no comet.I know it comes again in like 1 million years supposedly, but does anyone know the exact date and I will put it in my diary if it goes up to that year.

I still believe that the “star” that appeared in the sky and was over Bethlehem was rather a comet. Stars have never been recorded as appearing de novo and if it was a new star why did it behave as it did? If the star of Christ appeared it would still be known as such now surely.I do wonder thus if the sign of the Son of man spoken of in scripture will be a comet.

Many have thought that it was Halley's Comet that appeared in the Middle East at a time that corresponds to the canonical version of events.Stuart
