Hi,
Last night we had a GLORIOUS VIEW OF THE COMET stunningly beautiful sweeping upwards in the southwest sky like the glow from a searchlight.
What does this sign signify?January 25, 2007 at 6:18 am#38230davidParticipantWhat do you mean?
January 25, 2007 at 6:50 am#38231NickHassanParticipantHi david,
Gen 1
” 14And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for SIGNS, and for seasons, and for days, and years:15And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. “
January 27, 2007 at 10:42 am#38378ProclaimerParticipantIs it still visible?
January 27, 2007 at 5:57 pm#38385NickHassanParticipantyep. Not as bright last night though.
January 29, 2007 at 8:12 am#38448ProclaimerParticipantToo cloudy here for the last week.
January 30, 2007 at 2:59 am#38481NickHassanParticipantHi t8,
There is still room in the South Island.
You must NOT miss it.February 1, 2007 at 4:18 am#38532ProclaimerParticipantGood weather is forecast for tomorrow onward. Hopefully it will still be there.
Apparently is comes again in a million years or so, so I will see it then, if I miss it this time.
February 1, 2007 at 4:27 am#38534NickHassanParticipantHi,
It has been seen all around the earth.
The sign of the Son of man is meant to be.
Could it relate?February 1, 2007 at 8:25 am#38536ProclaimerParticipantThere will be signs in the heavens. There have been quite a few. This comet is suppose to be the brightest one.
February 1, 2007 at 8:46 am#38537DebraParticipantHi
I'm waiting for the sun to go down, apparently it's still visable, it's a clear night tonight, so I'm hoping to see it.
Excuse my ignorance, but what do you think it signifies?
I get excited about signs, but I can also get lost in them too.
I can remember when I first saw a ring around the moon, I thought this is a sign of something, but didn't think that it was rain.
Signs…no matter what they are, always remind me, that Jesus is coming back. When? dosn't seem important, just knowing He will return is enough. But I still love it when I get to witness one.February 1, 2007 at 9:00 am#38538NickHassanParticipantHi debra,
It is just becoming visible here within the last 10mins but is far less bright now. Could it be that it has been here before, 2000 years ago?February 1, 2007 at 9:43 am#38540DebraParticipantAhhaa, now I'm on the same page.
Wow what an awsome thought.February 2, 2007 at 2:47 am#38560NickHassanParticipantHi debra,
If the stars are given us for signs and the sign of the first coming was a new star that temporarily pointed to Bethlehem perhaps it was a comet that is the sign of the Son of Man?February 2, 2007 at 4:06 am#38562DebraParticipantHi Nick
Yes perhaps it is.
There was a book written by a Christian women, one of the Telly preachers, can't recall her name, but she was, in her book, explaining how the 12 zodiac constellations, told the story of Jesus, from His conception(Virgo). to His return. I never read the book I thought she may have had a foot in both camps, and I'd just come out of the enemy camp and didn't want to get caught up in it again, but I was tempted, because I had always wondered about the stars and planets, and the bigger picture.
Do you have any knowledge of astrology as in the Zodiac. I know people who wouldn't make a move without consulting their astrological charts, I think of it as a science and can be amazingly accurate in a personnal chart, but I also know it to be a powerful tool the enemy uses to keep souls out of Heaven, so if these signs we are seeing are indicating Our Lord's return, then we might see a rise in an interest in “New Age” Astrology as it was in Babylonia. The enemy at it again, trying to take the credit for God's work.
God blessFebruary 2, 2007 at 4:43 am#38563NickHassanParticipantHi Debra,
The Watchman site of Greg Killian said that the constellations lined up in 1997 for scene described in Rev 12.1-3 Virgo, Corona bernices, Draco and the moon. God uses stars as signs and the astrologers [wise men]confounded the Jews by finding Jesus when they had no idea he was coming. Ignorance is folly.February 3, 2007 at 6:13 pm#39161NickHassanParticipantHi,
Try this link to see the comet how it appeared in our skies.

The photo's are breathtaking, I was emailed a photo taken on a beach in Perth WA, I tried to post it, but wasn't able to, I can email it only. It's taken on a beach during a thunderstorm, with fireworks bursting in the sky and the comet between the two specticals, it's awsome, I will get someone who knows more about posting photo's to help me try again.February 15, 2007 at 6:36 pm#40400PhoenixParticipantand i missed it. but was told in the newspaper to go watch it.. i think i was too busy reading !!
