First you must be pricked to the heart Acts 2
Matthew 11:17
and say, ‘We played the flute for you, and you did not dance; we sang a dirge, and you did not mourn.’July 21, 2014 at 4:28 am#451992sonofGodParticipantTrust is not a gift, it is earned.
God’s word, the scriptures, is God’s word, not the word of men.
We can learn by study and application to trust God

and when we have study the word of God ;then the question as to be answered ,either we trust God words or not ,right ?
Adam and Eve seem having trouble to trust the words of God ,the ones of the devil was more juicier

There is pleasure in sin, but only for a season.
The pleasure in knowing and living the truth results in joy and pleasure evermore
July 21, 2014 at 10:00 am#453798ProclaimerParticipantCan you still trust the churches?
Good question. I don’t think we can trust denominations simply because they are built in their own names and endeavors. Like Babel, they are then divided into denominations as a curse for their works, lest they work together and accomplish anything they desire.
As for the Body of Christ, I think we need to come out of the denominational system. That system divides us and gives us a diet of men’s creeds.
I am a believer in meeting together of course. Just not under the umbrella of a man-made organisation.
Jesus said, “upon this rock I will build MY church”, yet today we often say, “my church” and that is because it probably is.

Trusting God does not save anyone.
Obedience to the command to be reborn canAugust 22, 2014 at 3:45 pm#736599NickHassanParticipantHi,
The visible churches all are pathways to destruction.
God knows those who are His.February 6, 2015 at 11:33 pm#788820davidHParticipantJesus gave parables about wheat and tares growing together before the harvest of the his coming, Yes we all know about churchianity, but, there are as the parable says true believers among the tares, Now, I have found God himself WILL lead you to those of like beliefs amongst the tares, ,As Jesus said in John 10 He knows his own. and will feed them. We know we don’t go to ‘church’ on sunday because we have to. its all about attitude of the heart in the NT. if we have something else to do on Sunday, so be it.
