Jesus is soon to return, but to do what?
Hi Camillia,
Now that the dust has settled, I have returned. The answer
to your question is: to separate “the sheep” from ‘the goats’“The Bible” says: he shall appear the second time to them that look for him,
it doesn’t say anything about him appearing to those who are not looking for him.Hi BD, I missed you here at H-net, glad to see you are back!
I personally do not believe one should be kicked off a forum because of his beliefs.
After all, if communication is ceased – how then can one be swayed to understand what “The Truth” really is?Peter says to destroy the wicked with fire, then take the remaining to where He is (Heaven). Then is a new Heaven and a new Earth.
I don’t know about a new Heaven, but I do know that we now have a new “Heaven Net”
Jesus said: “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men” (Matt 4:19)

Hi Camillia,
This one:
“So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them
that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.” (Heb 9:28)A good question for muslims would be:
“Do you believe Christ lived a sin free life”
BD if you would be so kind as to please answer this.___________

Mt 13:36 Then he left the crowd and went into the house. His disciples came to him and said, “Explain to us the parable of the weeds in the field.”
Mt 13:37 He answered, “The one who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man.
Mt 13:38 The field is the world, and the good seed stands for the sons of the kingdom. The weeds are the sons of the evil one,
Mt 13:39 and the enemy who sows them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels.
Mt 13:40 “As the weeds are pulled up and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the age.
Mt 13:41 The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will weed out of his kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil.
Mt 13:42 They will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Mt 13:43 Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.Mt 24:30 “At that time (70 AD)the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory.
Mt 24:31 And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.Rev 22:12 “Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done.
Rev 22:13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.
Rev 22:14 “Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city.
Rev 22:15 Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.
Rev 22:16 “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.”Rev 22:17 The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.

January 16, 2015 at 4:30 pm#788277bodhithartaParticipantYou see it was the baptism of Jesus which makes him the Lamb of God who takes away sin after this baptism he declared that his work was done….The crucifixion would have been a simple act of murder not some sort of sacrificial death/blood atonement. Jesus was baptized for the remission of sins of those who believe in him.
I have finished the work which You have given Me to do. —John 17:4
So many (maybe all) believe that Jesus overcame the world/death at the cross but that is not what the scriptures actually say.
John 16:33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”This was before the “crucifixion” He had already overcome

26 While they were eating, Jesus took some bread, and after a blessing, He broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.” And when He had taken a cup and given thanks, He gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you; for this is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for forgiveness of sins.

according to scriptures he came back on the clouds in 70 ad ;for he fulfilled the prophecy he told his apostles ,about the temple ,
and that all will see him (in the understanding of the fulfillment of that prophecy even those that pierced him (they were still alive at that time )
but that was the end of that age ,now we are in the next age the one that follows the apostles call,
Jn 17:20 “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message,Rev 22:10 Then he told me, “Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, because the time is near.
Rev 22:11 Let him who does wrong continue to do wrong; let him who is vile continue to be vile; let him who does right continue to do right; and let him who is holy continue to be holy.”Rev 22:14 “Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city.
Rev 22:15 Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.
Rev 22:17 The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.
JN 12:32 “And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to Myself.”
Jn 13:34 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
Jn 13:35 By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one anothertrue love does not lie nor deceive or practice falsehood ,

baptism with God’s HolySpirit (which was given on Pentecost)John 16:16-22 A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father. 17 Then said some of his disciples among themselves, What is this that he saith unto us, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me: and, Because I go to the Father? 18 They said therefore, What is this that he saith, A little while? we cannot tell what he saith. 19 Now Jesus knew that they were desirous to ask him, and said unto them, Do ye enquire among yourselves of that I said, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me? 20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy. 21 A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world. 22 And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.

Hi BD,
1) “The Lamb” was slain on the altar as a sacrifice to remove the sins of God’s people.
Jesus, as the Lamb of God, died for YOUR sins; the false prophet (Rev.13:13) has lied to you – telling you this did not happen.2) False, that is when Jesus work started. His work ended dying on the cross.
Jesus last words were: “IT IS FINISHED” and then Jesus gave up the ghost.
(The worlds sin debt was paid in full by Jesus’ death on the cross)3) It was an act of stacking Jesus up on false charges
4) Your biblical literacy is severely lacking
5) Jesus’ baptism symbolizes the Gospel
(death, burial, and resurrection)6) Believing the false prophets lies will get you no-where.

January 17, 2015 at 11:25 am#788293Ed JParticipantHi BD,
I want you to understand what YeHoVaH is telling us.
“What is the chaff to the wheat? saith the LORD. Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces? Therefore, behold, (1)I against the prophets, saith the LORD, that steal my words every one from his neighbor. Behold, (2)I against the prophets, saith the LORD, that use their tongues, and say, He saith.” (Jer 23:28-31)
………………………. Guilty on both counts!
1. Muhammad stole a story from the infancy Gospel where it is claimed that Jesus as a boy (supposedly) resurrected a bird.
2) “And he (Muhammad) doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven (Gal 1:8) on the earth in the sight of men, 14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth” (Rev 13:13-14) (see also 2Cor.11:14)
“And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel (jibreel) of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers (Muhammad) also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.” (2 Cor 11:14-15)
Muhammad will have to stand before the true God (YeHoVaH) and give an account for all these actions…
1. Rape
2. Murder
3. Abuse of women
4. Abuse of children
5. Pillage and plunder____________

Hi T8,
Sorry, I had assumed that Journey42 was banned as well as Wakeup. If Wakeup was put on suspension
rather than being banned, if you want, I can contact him and let him know when his suspension is over.He has started a lot of threads that seemed to be saying the same thing over and over again. Believing in
fictitious future events is common, as there are a lot of them taught by the religious community. Here’s a few:1. A Rapture doctrine
2. A 7 year tribulation period
3. A physical return of Jesus to earthI’ll stop at these three examples, as I don’t want to appear to be pushing my beliefs.
As opportunities for Truth are opened, my only concerned is that people understand my views.
If people don’t want to accept what I say I doesn’t bother me in the least, only that they do understand.
What I find funny though is: when people try to show my beliefs as wrong without even knowing what they are.___________

Hi Pierre,
I did not say his Apostles, I instead said “his disciples”; Pierre do you know that
there is a difference? There are only 12 Apostles, while Jesus has “many” disciples.It is like when uninformed Christians say that muslims are looking for the 12th imam;
NO, they are looking for the 12th caliph, all Muhammadin religious leaders are imams.___________

”Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.” – JEHOVAH GODJanuary 17, 2015 at 2:27 pm#788308ProclaimerParticipantRegarding your first post Bod, God has preferences, but he also has to do things that may not be his primary will. This is because he has to cater for the will of others who may not be aligned to his will.
Obviously God was disappointed as in the path that man took, so he catered for man in the best way possible. He sent his son to die in our place, and then rose his son from the dead with many sons to follow.
God certainly prefers mercy over sacrifice, but sacrifice is important. He prefers giving reward to the righteous than the just reward of death for unrepentant sinners, but that doesn’t negate the latter as that is necessary.
I prefer football to rugby, but I still watch both.

I did not say his Apostles, I instead said “his disciples”; Pierre do you know that
there is a difference? There are only 12 Apostles, while Jesus has “many” disciples.their was only 12 -1 apostles or disciples ;Paul would be the 12 th for he was chosen by Christ ,but we know that none of the Miracles came to be for NO reason ;so what was the reason for this miracle to happen at the pentecost ?
Lk 24:46 He told them, “This is what is written: The Christ will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day,
Lk 24:47 and repentance and forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations,;; beginning at Jerusalem. ;;
Lk 24:48 You are witnesses of these things.
Lk 24:49 I am going to send you what my Father has promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high.”Ac 1:4 On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about.
WHAT WAS THE GIFT jESUS FATHER PROMISED ?
Ac 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and;;;you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”;;;
SO THE GIFT WAS A WITNESSING THAT WOULD START IN JERUSALEM AND FOR THIS THEY GOING TO RECEIVE A HEAD START ;
Ac 2:1 When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.
Ac 2:2 Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.
Ac 2:3 They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them.
Ac 2:4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.
Ac 2:5 Now there were staying in Jerusalem God-fearing Jews from every nation under heaven.
Ac 2:6 When they heard this sound, a crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one heard them speaking in his own language.
Ac 2:7 Utterly amazed, they asked: “Are not all these men who are speaking Galileans?
Ac 2:8 Then how is it that each of us hears them in his own native language?
Ac 2:9 Parthians, Medes and Elamites; residents of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia,
Ac 2:10 Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya near Cyrene; visitors from Rome
Ac 2:11 (both Jews and converts to Judaism); Cretans and Arabs—we hear them declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues!”
Ac 2:12 Amazed and perplexed, they asked one another, “What does this mean?”
Ac 2:13 Some, however, made fun of them and said, “They have had too much wine.’”Ac 2:14 Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, raised his voice and addressed the crowd: “Fellow Jews and all of you who live in Jerusalem, let me explain this to you; listen carefully to what I say.
Ac 2:15 These men are not drunk, as you suppose. It’s only nine in the morning!
Ac 2:16 No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:
Ac 2:17 “ ‘In the last days, God says,
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your young men will see visions,
your old men will dream dreams.
Ac 2:18 Even on my servants, both men and women,
I will pour out my Spirit in those days,
and they will prophesy.
Ac 2:19 I will show wonders in the heaven above
and signs on the earth below,
blood and fire and billows of smoke.
Ac 2:20 The sun will be turned to darkness
and the moon to blood
before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord.
Ac 2:21 And everyone who calls
on the name of the Lord will be saved.’
Ac 2:22 “Men of Israel, listen to this: Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know.SO THE MIRACLE AT THE PENTECOST IS A WITNESSING AND THE BEGINNING OF TO WITNESS TO THE ENTIRE WORLD FROM THEIR ON,
