Ares was the Greek god of war, Mars was the Roman god of war. Did Yahweh ever say he was a war god?
July 27, 2008 at 5:41 pm#105713epistemaniacParticipantMichal would remain childless as punishment for her candidness. (The kjv, using inferior manuscripts, reports Michal as the mother of five sons in 2 Samuel 21:8. Adriel, however, was the husband of Merab, a correction reflected in rsv, niv, nasb, neb.)

certainly both Jesus and Yahweh are depicted in ways that could be considered war-like or as warriors….July 27, 2008 at 6:05 pm#105715kejonnParticipantQuote (epistemaniac @ July 27 2008,12:41) Michal would remain childless as punishment for her candidness. 8. And the king took the two sons of Rizpah the daughter of Ayah, whom she bore to Saul, Armoni and Mephibosheth; and the five sons of Michal the daughter of Saul, whom she bore to Adriel the son of Barzillai the Meholathite.July 27, 2008 at 6:08 pm#105716kejonnParticipantQuote (epistemaniac @ July 27 2008,12:49) Quote (kejonn @ July 28 2008,00:11) Ares was the Greek god of war, Mars was the Roman god of war. Samuel was from the tribe of Ephraim and 2 Sam 8:18 said David's sons were priests (tribe of Judah). This shows that whoever wrote Samuel was unaware of the Torah laws about only Levites where to be priests. In several places is speaks of only those in the line of Aaron were to be priests, but in one place in merely said “Levites”.
HI Kevin, Tim, STUARTJust add my two cents worth!
I felt the books of Samuel have and have been tampered with
Again
The foundations move and sway as reading.
What they believed about god’s nature reveals itself within their words!
Remembering also that it is possible for David’s scrolls to have been in the hands of his enemies, more than once before today, and then Moses followers, would conceive no wrong in adjusting the words, just as they add and adjust to the long before adjusted words OF today, Chinese whispers,
500 yrs before Christ Nehemiah held the birth records with power, he was full of lawlessness, drunk on Moses, THAT REALY DIDN'T PERTMIT THE killing and devouring of life that this man accomplished, Hitler 1, violence against David’s kingdom, foreign wives decedents were all to be cut off.
“Always” the mass murders on earth are associated with a seed “due” to appear and arrive on earth!
I can only imagine they would give high respect to Michal David’s first wife, of coarse she is has Moses Law to accuse him.
Men under Law conceived a thought that rose up children to the first husband that took the woman?July 28, 2008 at 11:22 am#105719StuParticipantHanoch thinks the atheist scientists dig up the fossils of the giants and smash them with hammers before the proper creation scientists get a chance to see them.

just more bible lingo, my two bobs worth pf prose!
I think we maybe are looking for dead giants smaller than todays giants? hormones can produce an hatched chicken to a full sized chicken within three weeks?and our children eat the chicken, that ate the hormones, that make them grow, (goverments allow)
The giants arrive before the end of the world
After persecuting smaller generations
The end is likened to a flood of truth that destroyed the world (not the earth) repeates itselfJuly 29, 2008 at 11:20 am#105721TimothyVIParticipantYou mean the world was populated by huge midgets and small giants,
and they all looked the same?Tim
