ParticipantThat is your claim. But Jesus said he would come again. How can you exclude all those who claim to be Jesus, if you are expecting his return?

But suposedly he was born the first time. Why are you expecting clouds this time? Do you watch all the clouds all the time? What if you miss the arrival? Who will you trust to tell you that Jesus is in town again?Stuart

Nothing like that ever happens. Such healing is the vision of the religiously deluded.

I was PRETENDING, in order to put myself in your shoes. Do you know how to do that? I can't remember anyone here pretending that their god did not exist in order to make me think about my worldview. So, the full version for the literalists with no imagination is:
For the things you claim your god has done, every one of them has an alternative explanation.
Or something like it.

Are you sure 'god' is not just a metaphor for the natural universe?

Kathi,
Have you ever heard of the word “hoax” or the term “sleight of hand?” This week on the TV show America's Got Talent a magician performed an act that has never been done before. He made three women in a box disappear in front of a live audience and then appear in the place of three men who then appeared in the box where the women were.If the “miracles” you refer to were bonafide the fame of them would spread throuhgout all the land. It's just a hoax Kathi.

Is Gods power limited in this day?
