Quote (Stu @ Aug. 09 2009,13:58) Quote (t8 @ Aug. 09 2009,12:10) Quote (Stu @ Aug. 06 2009,22:52) It seems that programming for AI takes you down dead-ends UNLESS you use an approach which treats the computer instructions as genes, allowing random mutation and selection of the rules that are most productive in solving unforeseen problems.
Creation creation creation. You say you need to so this or that in order for it to do this.
Creator all the way.
Chanting of children's nonsense rhymes would seem to be the most honest form of creationism there is. As soon as facts are requested, the lying begins.Stuart
You like children's rhymes. You could start up a discussion. Start with Humpty Dumpty or something.
I also think it is ironic the way the word “Evolution” is used.
I often hear comments such as:- “the software has evolved”, (Truth: designed)
- “the Web is evolving”, (Truth: being improved by designers)
- “The Evolution of the Cell Phone, Since 1985, we have seen something that resembles a cement block to the current day that fits snuggly in your pocket”. (Truth: design and intelligent improvements thereafter).
Creation, creation, creation.
Designed, design, designer.August 19, 2009 at 10:23 am#141424ProclaimerParticipantNow to get the poetry thing rolling:
Creation, creation, creation.
What a descriptive word.
For it signifies a designer,
And saying “evolution” is absurd.Evolution, evolution, evolution,
what a funny word
It is really a religion
for those who haven't heard.Anyone else care to join in?
August 19, 2009 at 10:25 am#141425ProclaimerParticipantActually I have started a thread called Evolution poems. Feel free to join in the fun.

his ideas jump around like a roo.August 19, 2009 at 10:38 am#141430StuParticipantAnd where does the poetry begin? Does that come next?

August 19, 2009 at 10:42 am#141433ProclaimerParticipantThey have already started. They are in the simple cell stage and might be hard to notice, but rest assured they will evolve.
Actually you will find them in a new thread called “Evolution poems”.
You are invited to join in the fun and show off your creative side.
Actually can you have a creative side if you weren't created?
August 19, 2009 at 6:45 pm#141477StuParticipantVery hard to spot the poetry there.
I thought poetry was about beauty, not lies.
