Gene, WJ, et al,
Do you believe that I do not believe Jesus has his own kingdom. What have I written that does not state that…
Did you not see the diagram i drew a couple of times at least showing God's Kingdom – and jesus' kingdom below that…
how then do you post here as if I am ignorant and you need to teach me.
If I ask the question – then it is for a reason – and the reason has borne fruit.
WJ has clearly shown that JESUS IS NOT GOD by his own wiriting. He declares that jesus has his own kingdom. This does not make jesus God but a king in his own right – BUT a King ONLY in his own Kingdom – Not King in God's Kingdom – of which he is ONLY an HEIR – as “we” will also be an Heir WITH HIM.
Which Scriptures is it that says (paraphrasically) “If you walk in the ways of god then you are Sons of God and Being Son's of God, you are also brothers of Christ and being Brothers of Christ you are therefore Heirs WITH Christ.”
The Scriptures (Revelation 3:21) also states that “To him who overcomes, I will give the right to sit with Me on My throne, just as I overcame and sat down with my Father on His throne. …”
So, who here, speaking with righteous truth, believes that I cannot read, understand and re-iterate righteous truth. WJ, and KJ, this means you, both, are not invited to respond.

in turn YOU belong to Christ; Christ, in turn, belongs to God.–1 Cor
Next, the end, when he hands over the kingdom to his God and Father, when he has brought to nothing all government and all authority and power. For he must rule as king until [God] has put all enemies under his feet.

Hi David,First, tell your JW buddy Mikeboll that Jesus “rules” as King just as you said. Mike says that Jesus “waits” and does not reign.
Second, You speak only a half truth. The apostle Paul ALSO said that Christ Himself will bring His enemies into subjection.
20 For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, 21 who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself (Philippians 3:21).

Paul NEVER said that Christ belongs to God. Does your father own you?Again, the JW's need to take a paddle to Mikeboll and get him straightened out. He says that Jesus “waits”.

My apologies.May 22, 2010 at 11:17 pm#191619mikeboll64BlockedHi Jack,
You said:
Quote Second, You speak only a half truth. The apostle Paul ALSO said that Christ Himself will bring His enemies into subjection. Who does this Scripture and many others say placed Jesus' enemies under him so that he could subdue them?
22And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church,
You said:
Quote Mike says that Jesus “waits” and does not reign. What does this say?
12But when this priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God. 13Since that time he waits for his enemies to be made his footstool,I now know of the Scripture where Paul says he reigns while he waits for God to subdue his enemies. I didn't before – at least I didn't remember it. It is confusing how he can rule as King of kings and Lord of lords when some of those kings and lords haven't even been subdued yet.
