ParticipantI live in a small town on lake michigan. I really like it here but wish the winters were shorter. I love living in a small town people are friendly and we don't have to lock our doors. I have family in St louis and went there as a kid, all I remember is how hot it was (went in Aug.).

ParticipantHere is a picture taken from the Wellington coast looking toward the island that Nick lives on.
Is that snow I can see Nick?
It looked just like this yesterday.

ParticipantHi t8,
Yes we have snow to the south of us but it never snows here. Were you surfing? We are protected from the cold southerlies that turn your wind power generators.July 9, 2006 at 11:18 pm#22042Proclaimer
ParticipantYep it's good to have a reliable source of power.
I heard that the storms cut off electricity for some in the South Island.I could run an electrical cord down to your place if you were affected.

ParticipantHi t8,
That is right. They are well situated and never stop turning. But the storms that battered the South island and caused floods did not touch here. Pop over any old time. You are very welcome and we can offer you a drop of sunshine most days.July 9, 2006 at 11:24 pm#22044Proclaimer
ParticipantIf you supply the sunblock, I will think about it.

July 9, 2006 at 11:50 pm#22048NickHassan
ParticipantHi Woutlaw,
It is a big roomy island. Maybe t8 will show you some shots I took of here?July 10, 2006 at 12:32 am#22049Proclaimer
ParticipantHere's a small selection of Nicks images. I purposefully didn't include any with Nick in them. I didn't want to let the leaders of the Catholic church knowing what he looks like
