    t8,

Thanks for sharing this. I was wondering, do you have a military? Part of the song talked about foes on the coast…..with NZ being so small, I wondered about it's security. This is my ignorance now showing, but who are your allies?

Death is certain but the Bible speaks about untimely death!

Make a personal reflection about this….

Very interesting, read until the end…..
It is written in the Bible (Galatians 6:7):

'Be not deceived; God is not mocked:
    for whatsoever a man soweth,
    that shall he also reap.

Here are some men and women
    who mocked God :

    John Lennon (Singer):

Some years before, during his interview with an American
    Magazine, he said:

'Christianity will end, it will disappear.
I do not have to argue about
    that. I am certain.

Jesus was ok, but his subjects were too simple, Today we are
    more famous than Him' (1966).

Lennon, after saying that the Beatles were more famous than
Jesus Christ, was shot six times.

Tancredo Neves (President of Brazil ):
During the Presidential campaign, he said if he got 500,000
votes from his party, not even God would remove him from Presidency.

Sure he got the votes, but he got sick a day before being
    made President, then he died.

Cazuza (Bi-sexual Brazilian composer, singer and poet):

During A show in Canecio ( Rio de Janeiro ),

while smoking his cigarette, he puffed out some smoke into
the air and said: 'God, that's for you.'

He died at the age of 32 of AIDS in a horrible manner.

The man who built the Titanic

After the construction of Titanic, a reporter asked him how
    safe the Titanic would be.

With an ironic tone he said:
'Not even God can sink it'

The result: I think you all know what happened to the
    Titanic …

    Marilyn Monroe (Actress)

She was visited by Billy Graham during a presentation of a
    show.
He said the Spirit of God had sent him to preach to her.
After hearing what the Preacher had to say, she said:
    'I don't need your Jesus'.

A week later, she was found dead in her apartment .

Bon Scott (Singer) The ex-vocalist of the AC/DC. On one of his 1979 songs he sang:

'Don't stop me, I'm going down all the way, down the highway to
    hell'.

On the 19th of February 1980, Bon Scott was found dead, he
had been choked by his own vomit.

Campinas (IN 2005) In Campinas , Brazil a group of friends, drunk, went to pick up a friend…..
The mother accompanied her to the car and was so worried
about the drunkenness of her friends and she said to the daughter
holding her hand, who was already seated in the car:

'My Daughter, Go With God And May He Protect You..'
She responded: 'Only If He (God) Travels In The Trunk, Cause
    Inside Here…..It's Already Full '

Hours later, news came by that they had been involved in a
fatal accident, everyone had died, the car could not be recognized what type of car it had been, but surprisingly, the trunk was intact.

The police said there was no way the trunk could have remained
intact. To their surprise, inside the trunk was a crate of eggs, none
    was broken .

Christine Hewitt (Jamaican Journalist and entertainer) said
the Bible (Word of God) was the worst book ever written.

In June 2006 she was found burnt beyond recognition in her
    motor vehicle …

Many more important people have forgotten that there is no
other name that was given so much authority as the name of Jesus.

Many have died, but only Jesus died and rose again, and he is
    still alive …

    'Jesus'

P.S: If it was a joke, you would have sent it to everyone. So
are you going to have courage to send this?.

'Lord, I love you and I need you, come into my heart, and bless
Me, my family, my home, and my friends, in Jesus' name. Amen.'

    Peace and Love Mrs.

We actually have a lot of atheists in New Zealand, but I think that there are still more who believe in God and Jesus than not.

Based on the long-term trend, between the most recent census and the next one New Zealand will drop below 50% in those who self-identify (or are identified by a family member filling in the form) as christian.

We should also consider what fraction of the 51% who ticked christianity are cultural christians, who do not have a literal belief in critical tenets like resurrection.

Certain belief in god is around 30% and apparently 20% are churchgoers, although in the UK it is around 8% and I would have thought NZ would be closer to that. I'm not sure how that survey dealt with what must be “uncertain” belief in god!

Demoscracy-wise, New Zealand will no longer have any basis for the “christian country” claim of some.

    HI t8
As soon as I work out how to post photos, I'll send some from my neck of the woods.
I havn't seen NZ yet but hope to one day, I have a close friend who came from Wellington, I've seen lots of photos, what a georgous place.
The Man from Snowy River was filmed in the Snowy Mountains, a place called Perisher, I think, not the Dandenong Ranges, althouugh it does snow here some winters, we are at the foothills it takes 10mins to drive to the top. It's very popular with tourists as it isn't far from Melbourne city about 45mins.
Have a great week, and God bless.

Oh I got that one wrong. I haven't been to Perisher, but I did get to Koscuioszko. Try this pic:

To post a photo, just click the image button, then paste in the URL (address) to the photo. The picture must already be online somewhere. If you make a mistake, try the edit button and have another go.

    :)

This is really nice. Just want to move there. We live in Cincinnati, Ohio. Nice enough for a City. We have lived here ever since we came here from Germany in 1955. We have alot of Germans living here. In fact we have a part of town that is called over the Rhein. The Rhein is a River in Germany.
I love those pictures thank you for given them to us. i know that is a long time ago, that you gave them to us, but it is still appreciated.

    Peace and Love Mrs.

    Hi david,

We have a lot of mountains in New Zealand and there are many skifields. But most people live near the ocean where there is a temperate climate. Auckland our biggest city is more subtropical however.

    I have attached some photos:

    Wellington (where i live)

Near Queenstown. (home to most of our ski fields)

Nick lives 2 hours from here. He lives in the sunniest part of New Zealand.

This to beautiful to let just let it lay here, so I am going to bring it up.

    Peace and Love Mrs. :D :D :D

Unfortunately Mandy did not want to make this tread into a fellowship tread. I just had to bring this up again, cause the Homeland of our Administrators are so beautiful.
I have a big wish, I wish that some would just fellowship with me. Since I do not go to any Church I do miss it very much. I find myself looking forward to some J.W. that have been coming around for years now. My Husband just loves to talk about God mainly prophecy.
    So how about somebody?
