we all have view points ,but our view points are not starting in the same or from the same point ;most people start from their own point of view and look at the scriptures like they are the author of it ,or the view point that for some reason their view seems to be an obligation to allow a better understanding ,if not they would really not understand any thing of it , then you have others that KNOWS HOW TO UNDERSTAND THE SCRIPTURES FOR THEY HAVE SPECIAL TOOLS TO DO JUST THAT ,(MAN TOOLS THAT IS )
BUT ALL OF THEM HAVE NOT LOOKED AT GOD’S POINT OF VIEW ,FOR THEY ARE NOT OF GOD BUT ARE OF MEN, GOD SEEM TO SEE THINGS STARTING FROM HIS VIEW OF THINGS AND SO GIVE HIS UNDERSTANDING TO THOSE THAT ARE OF HIS VIEW ,FOR IT IS NOT GOD THAT CONNECTS TO MEN’S VIEW BUT MEN’S VIEW TO GOD’S VIEW , THIS IS WHY THEIR IS SO MUCH DIFFERENCE IN VIEWS BETWEEN MEN , FOR EACH HAS ITS OWN INTERPRETATION ,BUT THEIR IS NO END TO THE QUESTIONS THAT HAVE NOT BEEN ANSWERED ,AND THAT CONTRADICT MANY OTHER SCRIPTURES ,THIS DOES NOT BOTHER THEM ,FOR THEY COMPETE FOR MEN’S GLORY NOT FOR GOD’S TRUTH ,
IF WE LET GOD BE TRUE THROUGHOUT HIS OWN WORDS THEN WE SHOULD FIND UNDERSTANDING ,BUT OUR UNDERSTANDING WOULD BE AS GOOD AS OUR ABILITY TO EXCLUDE OUR SELF OUT OF GOD’S VIEW FOR MEN MIND AND THOUGHTS ARE PESTERING US ALL ,AND WE SHOULD FIRST GET RID OF THOSE INTERFERENCES SO TO LET GOD BE TRUE IN HIS OWN TRUTH ,
THE GREAT MYSTERY OF GOD IS NOT GOD BUT MEN’S LACKNESS OF BEING CONNECTED WITH GOD SPIRIT ,FOR MANY IT IS TO MUCH WORK TO LEARN ,BUT FOR SOME IT IS THE ONLY WAY TO GOD ,

Pierre.
If someone has their own view point from start line, then that person has not done his own studying, but relied on a church or belief to fill in the blanks. Jesus told us to be like little children. We have to go straight to the scriptures and study for ourselves and analyse what The Word is saying, then compare it to what the preacher is preaching, day in and day out.
I went to a church many years ago when I was younger (18). I had already some knowledge, and I did not go into that church to judge or find fault. At the time, I thought it was the right thing to do…be around Christians. That was great for a short time, but I refused to participate in bible studies with them, because I was happy reading the bible for myself and did not want to be swayed or guided into understanding the same way they did.
Over time, I picked up things that they were preaching, like the trinity doctrine, and I had to speak up. This was new to me. God dying for our sins? How can God die? He sacrificed “his son”, not himself. Much harder to sacrifice your own child than yourself in my eyes. So this was a huge sacrifice. Of course God knew the outcome.
The next thing that got my ears pricked was the rapture before tribulation. I had already read Revelations and knew there was a big test coming with the mark of the beast and all, and I knew that it was the christians the false prophet was really after. So I started delving into scriptures even more and realised they were putting us to sleep, and not preparing us.
And this “born again” message. They would stop people in the streets “Are you born again” , “I’m born again” “born again this, born again that” Everything was about being “born again”. Of course, it was a “born again” church. What about telling people to read their bibles and study hard? I had been reading and telling people about the scriptures for years, and never once did I ever think to ask anyone if they were born again. Anyone can say yes, and those people who had been attending the church for years screaming “born again” to everyone had no knowledge of the prophesies whatsoever. So what good is being “born again” if the church has not taught you anything other than to praise the Lord, or sing hymns, or fellowship, or give money, or pray over people, or speak tongues and perform miracles, and go to more church meetings and scheme how to get the young in. Have a Rock concert, that will get them in, and don’t tell them it’s a band singing about God or they wont come. Lets decieve them, and when they get in we’ll use our salesman tactics, and make them buy our product. We’ll make them feel so useless and damned that by the time we are finished with them, they will be shaking at the knees and will have no choice but stay with us for protection.
Doesn’t do it for me. People should come not because they are lured, but because they want truth. If we force them, then they have come in through the back door by hired shepherds trained to increase their merchandise. Some start off in a church and get indoctrinated only because they are lazy and not really reading for themselves. If we do this, and have a brain, we should be able to point out any contradictions along the way. It may take some time, but requires labour, and that labour is to feed on the scriptures alone.
November 14, 2014 at 4:23 am#784045journey42Participant…and just because we know what a lot of different denominations teach doesn’t mean we have been taught by them. Some of us have come accross many christians who tell us how they think it is, and we learn what they believe. They may give us pamphlets, or we see them on t.v. or we get talking to someone on the bus, or a relative may be involved with a church and invites us for an open discussion with their elders, anything goes. I have them knocking on my door, JW’s and Mormons. I take the time to listen to them, I am always polite to them. Let them say what they need to say. I feel love for them straight away, then I say excuse me, I will go and get my bible, and they get all startled, then I bring out the scriptures and know exactly where to go because I have just heard maybe 10 or 20 contradictions, and know the exact scripture that can clear that up. This is being ready Pierre, in season and out. I’m not great, I’m not better than them, I’ve just done my homework. and can point out errors straight away. They were taught what to say, and how to say it, it’s a spiel and it’s structured, heh look, they have a pamphlet to back it up also. Must be true. It’s so uniform, and if we are uninformed in the scriptures, then we probably wont even open the door.
It’s not about pride, or trying to embarrass them. My heart goes out to them. They have to work so hard to perform their duties. They come across many rude people and they keep battling on in the hot sun or the rain. I just want to show them that we do not need men as mediators to tell us what truth is, but to go straight to God’s word ourselves. They leave confused. You can see it. The scriptures have proved them wrong and they know it. They go and ask their elders, and their elders come back with them, and so it goes until they just walk straight past the house next time. “Been there”.November 14, 2014 at 5:57 am#784048terrariccaParticipantj42
if you can stop all your own knowledge for a while or ignore it for a while ;then read the scriptures and only believe the scriptures ,and so only believe the things that you can personally prove to be true in scriptures ,i am sure you would not believe what you believe now ,
the problem with most of people is that they read scriptures verses but interpret them with their own understanding not the truth in scriptures ,for they have to humble themselves to admit that they do not know anything ,and what they will know would be because God spirit of truth tell them ,but at the least what they would know would be the truth ,for a start
November 14, 2014 at 6:31 pm#784244journey42ParticipantPierre,
You didn’t listen to a word I said. I did not have my own knowledge to begin with. I knew nothing. I had someone who gave me a bible and told me to start reading in the new testament. I did that and read all on my own in my own bedroom. I read constantly, and wrote notes down in my bible. I was just turning 13. Very young, but very interested in what I was reading. I was the sort of girl who used to read novels all the time, so sitting with a book was no big deal. Only this time it was the holy bible and I couldn’t put it down or get enough.
So years later, I did not go into a church empty, but had some knowledge there there to begin with. After 5 years, surely I should of learn’t something out of the scriptures. I did not know “everything” but I knew an awful lot more than those who were studying with the church. They were amazed by the things I would quote because of my young age, and never being involved in a church like atmosphere.
That’s how my journey started and it continues, I have not finished the race yet.
So you want me to empty myself, and take away everything God has shown me through his scriptures alone, and listen to men? Which men do you want me to listen to? You? EdJ? The born again man? The 10 pages reply man to a simple question? or the Word I have right here in my hand?
You do not believe in the power of God Pierre. You do not believe that Christ can feed his sheep. You have very little idea of what he delivered me from at that young age, and you simply do not believe that he lives in me.
I simply could not ignore all my knowledge as you suggest, for then I would have to go into the lake of fire for testifying against the Word.

did you have found in scriptures that Christ and his father are feeding the sheep with different type of food ,?like one truth and the other lies ?
that we do not need men as mediators to tell us what truth is, but to go straight to God’s word ourselves.
yes i agree with this but then why are we so different in our understanding ?
is it because God as many different truths ? and that some of his truth contradict other truth ? is God our father a God of confusion ? this can never be ; only one truth ,all other are lies ,
so answer my questions
