    Hi GB,

The  gentile followers of Jesus have never been under the law.

Have you put yourself under the law?

    Would that please God?

    Nick,

The Sabbath Law is for the Jews and maybe for all in the Land of Israel but not for the Gentiles that are not citizens of that land. The righteous requirements were for body the Jews and the Gentiles, and have always been. Some call those righteous requirements the Law of Love and Love is the sum of them.

To follow the Law you just need to avoid intentional sins and seek for forgiveness for unintentional ones. You cannot sacrifice beasts without the temple according to some interpretations and since there is no temple those requirements related to it are waved.

Less is required of those that lived under the Law as they had less.

    HI k

IF YOU GOING TO OBSERVE THE SABBATH FOR IT IS IN THE LAW TO DO SO ,THEN YOU ALSO HAVE TO APPLY ALL THE OTHER LAWS AS WELL ,FOR THE LAW WAS NOT MADE FOR PICK AND CHOSE ,

AND THE LAW OF LOVE IS NOT THE SUM OF THE LAW AT ALL ;FOR THE LAW CONDEMNS,WHILE THE LAW OF LOVE FREE US

THIS IS TOTALLY FALSE ,MT 5:18 “For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished

    DO YOU REALLY THINK THAT JESUS DID NOT KNOW THAT THE TEMPLE WOULD BE DESTROYED ? YES HE DID ;IT IS FOR THAT REASON THAT HE MUST HAVE SAY IT ;

THERE ARE OTHER SCRIPTURES TO BACK THIS UP

    T,

Are you saying the requirement to sacrifice beasts is not waived because the temple was destroyed. Scripture does command the Jews not to sacrifice beasts anywhere else but in the temple. As far as I know Daniel did not sacrifice animals in Babylon during his captivity. That waver is actually part of the Law.

If you are talking about the forgiveness of sins that is also part of the Law.

Luke 1:6New English Translation (NET Bible)

6 They were both righteous in the sight of God, following all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blamelessly.

So you have two people who are said to follow the Law blamelessly despite the fact they were both under the Law.

It is a Law for the Jews and possibly also for the citizens of the Land of Israel in general. Paul was speaking to Gentiles who were not citizens of the land of Israel. Two different sets of customs.

There are still men and women despite their souls are of equal value to God. Men and women have different roles in Scripture as do servants and masters. Jews have different customs than Gentiles. All are to follow the righteous requirements of the Law.

Lk 1:5 In the time of Herod king of Judea there was a priest named Zechariah, who belonged to the priestly division of Abijah; his wife Elizabeth was also a descendant of Aaron.
Lk 1:6 Both of them were upright in the sight of God, observing all the Lord’s commandments and regulations blamelessly.
Lk 1:7 But they had no children, because Elizabeth was barren; and they were both well along in years.
Lk 1:8 Once when Zechariah’s division was on duty and he was serving as priest before God,
Lk 1:9 he was chosen by lot, according to the custom of the priesthood, to go into the temple of the Lord and burn incense.
Lk 1:10 And when the time for the burning of incense came, all the assembled worshipers were praying outside.

YES THAT IS TRUE ;BUT NOT ACCORDING TO THE LAW BUT ACCORDING TO THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH OF THE SCRIPTURES NOT THE LAW ;THE LAW IS GONE FOR THOSE THAT LIVE IN THE TRUTH

Scripture states that two Jews, Zechariah and Elizabeth, obey the Law of Moses blamelessly.

Since that is so then we know that it is not impossible for humans to obey the Law of Moses blamelessly.

I won’t say it was not true under the Law of Moses as God have the Law of Moses to the Jewish people and God does not change.

The Spirit makes a difference in that you can live by the Spirit and thus have more than those that came before God sent it in Jesus’ name.
