Not all that says LORD!LORD. Will be accepted
And as for the kingdom you right IT IS STILL TO COME ,SO WE STILL HOPE IN OUR FAITH

No.Knowledge is useful enough but it does not save.
It is how you respond to the message that is the issue.June 23, 2012 at 6:03 am#303746terrariccaParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ June 23 2012,23:51) Hi T,

NEze 3:17 “Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me.
Eze 3:18 When I say to a wicked man, ‘You will surely die,’ and you do not warn him or speak out to dissuade him from his evil ways in order to save his life, that wicked man will die for his sin, and I will hold you accountable for his blood.
Eze 3:19 But if you do warn the wicked man and he does not turn from his wickedness or from his evil ways, he will die for his sin; but you will have saved yourself.
Eze 3:20 “Again, when a righteous man turns from his righteousness and does evil, and I put a stumbling block before him, he will die. Since you did not warn him, he will die for his sin. The righteous things he did will not be remembered, and I will hold you accountable for his blood.
Eze 3:21 But if you do warn the righteous man not to sin and he does not sin, he will surely live because he took warning, and you will have saved yourself.”June 23, 2012 at 6:30 am#303752journey42ParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ June 23 2012,16:51) Hi T,

Proverbs 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.I'm not trying to say you are a fool Nick. I'm showing you that knowledge is important, and it starts somewhere . After this it should keep growing.
If knowledge helps us to make the right choices, then it will save us, because it starts….according to God, by fearing him (his own words)

Will you please comment on this post.
Hi EdContinuing and leading up to your question as I mentioned before remember?
Remember the beginning of Jeremiah chapter 50. I pointed out that God is referring to End time Babylon, not past Babylon, because this king that comes from the North was not the Medo/Persian empire coming as most interpret, as Medo/Persia are from the EAST. So I'm showing you that JEREMIAH CHAPTER 50 Is starting with END TIME FUTURE PROPHESY because this KING is coming from the NORTH
END TIME BABYLON
BABYLON THE GREATLets go further.
Jer 50:4 In those days, and in that time, saith the Lord, the children of Israel shall come, they and the children of Judah together, going and weeping: they shall go, and seek the Lord their God.
FutureJer 50:5 They shall ask the way to Zion with their faces thitherward, saying Come, and let us join ourselves to the Lord in a perpetual covenant that shall not be forgotten.
FutureJer 50:6 My people hath been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they have turned them away on the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill, they have forgotten their resting place.
Present timeJer 50:7 All that found them have devoured them: and their adversaries said, We offend not, because they have sinned against the Lord, the habitation of justice, even the Lord, the hope of their fathers.
The way the world view Israel is happening now and will worsen. When their enemies see the travail that will come apon them, they will justify it in their hearts saying Israel deserved it. But God will turn things around and those enemies of Israel will face a punishment themselves.Jer 50:8 Remove out of the midst of Babylon, and go forth out of the land of the Chaldeans, and be as the he goats before the flock.
Present
Chaldeans=christians who reside in BabylonRevelation 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
Present time again/now
Come out of her=Come out of Babylon
My people=chaldeans/christians who spiritually dwell in babylon

Knowledge is only helpful if it leads to repentance.
Unless you repent you will all likewise perishJune 23, 2012 at 11:27 am#303766journey42ParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ June 23 2012,17:51) Hi J,
Knowledge …or wisdom?
Hi NickI suppose they mean the same thing
Proverbs 4:5 Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth.
Proverbs 4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
Psalms 111:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.
Wisdom, knowledge and understanding. They all go together.

continued/Quote Jer 50:6 My people hath been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they have turned them away on the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill, they have forgotten their resting place.
Present timeJust want to specify My People here in this verse is specifically referring to Israel.
Jer 50:9 For, lo, I will raise and cause to come up against Babylon an assembly of great nations from the NORTH COUNTRY; and they shall set themselves in array against her, from thence she shall be taken: their arrows shall be as of a mighty expert man, none shall return in vain.
Against Babylon, Babylon is described as a HER.
Rev 17:5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
Revelation 17:16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.
Jer 50:9 For, lo, I will raise and cause to come up against Babylon an assembly of great nations from the NORTH COUNTRY; and they shall set themselves in array against her, from thence she shall be taken.

So far everything in Chapter 50 is future, end times. I will keep going.Jer 50:10 And Chaldea shall be a spoil: all that spoil her shall be satisfied, saith the Lord.
Chaldea=Christian world who dwell in Babylon
Jer 50:11 Because ye were glad, because ye rejoiced, O ye destroyers of mine heritage, because ye are grown fat as the heifer at grass, and bellow as bulls.
Rev 3:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked.
Jer 50:12 Your MOTHER shall be sore confounded; she that bare you shall be ashamed: behold, the hinder most of the nations shall be a wilderness, a dry land, and a desert.
……BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS….
Jer 50:13 Because of the wrath of the Lord it shall no more be inhabited, but it shall be wholly desolate: every one that goeth by BABYLON shall be astonished, and hiss at all her plagues.
Rev 18:19 And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing saying, Alas, alas, that GREAT CITY, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour she is made desolate.
Revelation 18:8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.
Jer 50:14 Put yourselves in array against Babylon round about: all ye that bend the bow, shoot at her, spare no arrows: for she hath sinned against the Lord.
Jer 50:15 Shout against HER round about: she hath given her hand: her foundations are fallen, her walls are thrown down: for it is the vengeance of the Lord: take vengeance upon her; as she hath done, do unto her.
all this is FUTURE

NBefore you can repent you have to know about what, and to whom, and we're you going from there,
See all is based on things to know and understand, and both the knowledge and the understanding comes from God ,not from men ,
So believe in scriptures and put your heart strait so it does not add or retract anything to what it says ,let Gods spirit work in you as you learn ,this is the most difficult thing to do ,men like to add or ignore the words in Gods word,
