    Hi Devolution,

Great, now that you've attempted to put me on the stool – will you answer my question?

    God bless
    Ed J

    Hi Ed,

Lol, how long have I been reading?
Hmm, do you mean the bible?

Hi Devolution, is this a dodge?

I've been studying “The Bible”(63) for over 40 years; how about you?

    Me: over 40 years
    You:  ?      <– please answer

    God bless
    Ed J (Joshua 22:34)

    Oh Ed,

    It's okay!
Look, you are obviously more learned than me, so I humbly ask that you break down Isaiah 27:1 for me with your own words of discernment so I too can understand what it is saying and exactly where it fits/links within the scriptures…

    Cheers Eddy.

    Please answer my question FIRST.

The interesting thing about this imagery is that this is often a hallucination that people get when they drink yahe which is a drink in Amazonia that a Shaman prepares.

I did a trip to Amazonia and was offered this drink but declined. Some people I was travelling with did take it. They said they could see energy everywhere, and they waved their hands in the air and could see how their hand make patterns in this energy. Through an interpreter the Sharman or his aide, (I can't remember now) said that you can see the world of the dead and even angels.

I also remember reading about this scientist who took it and he described the serpent and other creatures. He also said that he would never again question the myths and stories of different cultures again because this was such a revelation for him.

Although the story seems hard to believe literally, when people go into an alternate state and see such things, it makes me wonder what is going on.

Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

Answered!! So will you explain Isaiah 27:1 and its links in scripture for me now please Ed?

I hear you on that bro…”open doors” come to mind huh?
    Hmm.
Hey, good on you for refusing to join in!
I would have refused also…but on another note, must have been really interesting observing and hearing their “experiences” from a scripturally based point of view!
Bet you heard some very interesting tales.
Shame people don't see the danger in those things.

    God bless.

    Hi Ed,

Wasn't my answer to your liking Ed?
Oh come now Ed, why would you want to ruin the mystery by me revealing the years involved?

    How about this one:

    Jeremiah 1:6-7
    > Then said I, Ah, Lord God! Behold, I cannot speak; for I am a child!
    > But The Lord said unto me, Say not, I am a child; for thou shalt go to all that I send thee, and whatsoever I command thee, thou shalt speak.

Hi all, here is a little test if anyone wants to give it a go, I won't highlight any words for clues but leave it how it stands and see if any are able to see what the Lord is saying…and if you can explain this, then we will then, by this, be lead to another subject linked to this one which will help confirm a certain interpretation hotly debated

    Isaiah 27:1
In that day The Lord with his sore and great sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent, and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.

    Any takers?

Do I get to have a go?

    Devolution?

    Ed,

You don't seem to get the point of the scriptures I answered you with!

Your asking this shows that you have not heard Christs message concerning the correct & only path to advance ones spiritual growth leading towards sound knowledge & assured wisdom from Him, & of Him & of His righteous way.

Years of study mean nothing against worshipping in Spirit and truth.

Do you understand what it is to worship in Spirit and truth Ed?

Because if you did, you would never even consider asking such a thing in the first place.

Remember Ed, it is Christ who justifies, we do not justify ourselves.

So it doesn't matter how long I have been reading for Ed, or you, this is not a competition…Christ fashions the heart of all those called by His name the same.

So then, I already have your answer to my question concerning this post, the scriptures you posted in reply do not give the answer I was asking for.
I am asking that the scripture I provided be broken down and explained…not just to quote other scriptures describing Satan in the hope that it would answer my question…because it didn't.

Is that so annoying to you that you feel the need to justify yourself?
Why can't you wait until some others might like to try?

This post isn't about showing off my knowledge, it's about interacting with brethren, if I give my answer now, someone might not get a chance to answer.
So I'd like to wait a little longer if that's okay with you Ed?
When I finally answer, then you can go for it.

Ill give a clue within a couple of days if nobody else joins in okay?
And if that doesn't help, I'll just give the answer to finish up this post…but I'd like it to run a little longer yet.

    Cheers Ed.

    Ed,

Why is this so important to you?
    It will prove nothing.

Do you think the amount of years really means anything when compared to a faithful servant seeking earnestly?

Do blessings come from hours spent or do they come from well spent hours?

Answer me this simple question and I will tell you what you want…

    What is a prophets reward?

    Hi Ed,

Im not going to drag this on so im just gonna say it…You couldn't answer J42 on this, and you still can't!!
I understood it by myself and can explain it,
So does that mean my understanding is outdone by your 40 years of studying?
    See what I mean?
There is no point telling you how long I have been reading for…opposed to understanding what I was actually reading all those years up to now.
It wasn't till I applied what I was reading…under submittance, before I was truly granted understanding…
Thus years studying meant nothing compared to living what was being studied…so years are nothing…CHANGE is the key to growth Ed…not ones BOAST in ones own labours…
It is Christ who justifies not we ourselves.

Here, I will give you a BIG BIG clue…I am not asking for the end result…eternal life as you said, but for the current message applicable to our walk within that messages declaration from where the question comes from which is: what is a prophets reward?

Now that little word play is a HUGE clue…and I truly want you to see it for yourself which will be much more rewarding to you…
