14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.
If the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Christ which is the Spirit of God why is it singled out separate here in regards to having “communion” with him?

I think this about righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?2Cr 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
Paul seems to be giving a final warning to the congregation, that they have not discovered the acts of self examination, and without warning he has said he will have to come on strong The next time, and will not spare, the power he posses is very great, his knowledge and words are influenced and given by the spirit, and he judges as a good judge when and who he should come against, those within the congregation that desire to control, His words are able to destroy, But with the wisdom he has and the power, he will only be used on those that prove them selves to consistently destroyers of grace
Communion is self Examination self Judgement, we stand to do evil, if we are not consistently partaking of “self” examination in all things every moment, until found worthy in all truth. while some one is being accused, vanity requires their mind to be consumed in defending themselves by excuse’s, while if it is left to the Holy ghost, love and grace is offered by faith alone they will overcome, as love conquers all, we all must pass this test of faith, the holy ghost moving with out our own power and will involved, and see the power of God work before our eye’s, and then both will rejoice in the power that is revealed
I feel chapter 13, is telling us the danger of the power we hold over others, in the possible unrighteous manner many Examine their brothers /sisters instead of greeting them with a kiss and allowing the spirit to transform, Some feel that it their duty to correct as the power that was enforced over Christ that he was crucified and put to death, this was the hearts of those who sort to correct punish Him in his error, that Christ ended this mind, and offered a new mind, that if we do not transfigure by self examination, then we shall surly perish by the use of Law to Judge, and then by the Law shall we be Judged.
Duty to correct can destroy the spirit of Grace and the ability to come as you are, towards God, this is the work of Christ the Love of God, and communion with the Holy Ghost
It’s all about the heart check, we must allow faith Christ in them to correct their spirit, and alertness to what our heart is really thinking, while it deals with others, and the danger, that we may really believe we are doing right, but in fact we could be doing the worst evil calling it Good, without understanding, unintentionally. Preventing and doing the work of scribes against Christ and the Holy Ghostcharity

Is it possible to believe in the Father and Son and NOT have their Spirit? How many “Christians” go to church as a tradition say meaningless words and have no fellowship with the Holy Spirit.June 23, 2007 at 6:55 pm#56279NickHassanParticipantQuote (sscott @ June 23 2007,14:19) 14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Hi SScott,
Communion=common union. The Spirit of Christ [from God]
unites all who are in Christ
to one another
and Christ
and God.They also enjoy the love of God
and the graces given by God through JesusMay 6, 2012 at 7:40 am#296702NickHassanParticipantHi,
2Cor 13
14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.Grace comes through Jesus Christ for us in him.
The love of God is always given to His Son and now all in him.
Fellowship in the Spirit with God, His Son and all of Christ is how the body of Christ works. - AuthorPosts
