Hello All,

Baptize –wash clean

Ephesians 4: 4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Romans 6: 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

We are washed clean of our sins through the Anointed One’s death.

There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one hope.

The One Lord is the ANOINTED, the One faith is in the true Gospel, the good news that upon Jesus’s baptism he received God’s Spirit without measure, and through that anointing he was made perfect, and thus was able to be the sacrifice without blemish or spot to cleanse us from our sins.

Through the One baptism, the baptism of Jesus becoming the Christ and thus our savior, we have been freed from the penalty of our sins. Through this One baptism we are all through his death baptized ourselves (washed clean).

Jesus died without sin he was clean, and for this reason he had to be raised from the dead, he could not be held to the penalty of sin, which is death. We too shall not be held to the penalty of death, because Christ made us clean. This is HOW we are planted in likeness of his death. Upon his death he was clean and likewise upon our deaths we are seen as clean. As we are in the likeness of his death, we too will also be in likeness of his resurrection from the dead, this is our One Hope.
